Though she is more than merely polite to Pavo and Ayalina, Lady Morilla seems particularly interested in what Tiber has to say. "I wonder, could such dogs be trained to patrol our streets, as do the men of the watch? What a boon that would be to our poorest citizens--to the very people who need it most!"

"I can't say that I have been," Lady Morilla answers Ayalina. "How many years did you have to train to become a singer? How many hours a day must you practice to keep your voice in tune? And how many of these senators do you think treat their responsibility to Taldor's people with even half that effort?"

A very timely roll. Morilla's skill and grace at moving through crowds is specifically called out in her description.

Each time Tiber draws near enough to make eye contact with Lady Morilla, she smiles and slips through the crowd with a grace that fish in the sea would admire and dancers at court would kill for. Eventually, she lets herself be caught, saying, "An athlete like yourself belongs in the coliseum, not these stuffy halls." After reading the letter, she says, "Please return in a minute."

When Tiber returns, she hands him two letters. "The first is my reply to Martella, the second for Duke Centimus. I believe he can be found in the archives."
