The suli tries to activate the Nexian Galley Charm, but it appears inert. "By the Hells! Why won't this work?"

Davod offers the Galley Charm to anyone with the knowledge to find out why it's not working.

Davod runs, holding Lady Pharo's hand. "Carpet!" The suli shouts. The intelligent flying carpet wraps it's tassles around the thief's neck.
"Come on, everyone! LET'S GO!"

"Um..yeah!" Davod said, again snapped back to this senses. "The quicker we can leave this place the better."

The suli stammers back to conscious thought. "A vision!" davod gasps. "Efreeti working dwarven slaves to exhaustion! Jafar! Jafar's vision for the future.."

Davod slowly stops as he realization hits him like a mallet. Pharos's arm is on his neck. And it's not burning him. Davod slowly reach up to place his hand on the efretti's arm resting on his neck, and looks into the genie's face. An expectant surprised look on the thief's face.

Davod walks up to the efreeti. "Poor girl. She's been through a lot on this caper. I hope she feels better."

The suli begins to experience something just outside his perceptions.

Could Davod wish to increase his Fire Resistance from 5 to 10?

Aukan also throws over the Manual of Quickness of Action to Davod. He states, "Now don't leave it behind again. When you are done reading it please return it to me or Alexandria. Thank you!"

"Okay! Okay." Davod relents. "I didn't realize how powerful the book was." The suli begins to read the first page.

"If I remember correctly, for Isle of Dead we need a ship", Davod expounds. "Luckily, I still have the Nexian galley charm to summon a ship to take us. But we will need to leave this inferno."

Davod wishes to be immune to fire damage.

She would also bring up, "What did the Proteans want for us to aid them before they would help us?"

"I can't remember, Lady Pharos. So..so much has happened." Davod explains. "I believe the Isle of the Dead is a prison for undead. So a great place to visit" the suli spoke with sarcasm.

The suli growls, frustrated. "Nevermind. A ring of fire immunity somewhere in the future it is."

Fist on his chin, Davod considers Lady Pharos's advice. "Hmm. Would an elemental aura get in the way, even if it is protecting me from fire's heat? I understand that you are advising me to the best of your knowledge. I just want to make the right decision."

After Davod arranges his weapon belt with it's new array, he sits back down and beckons Lady Pharos to join him.
"I've given this alot of thought. I understand it takes several wishes to become immune to fire. But that is an immunity to all fire. Maybe that wish is being too broad. For example, instead of wishing to immune to fire, perhaps I could wish to be immune to fire damage from the touch of efferti? Perhaps that can be done with just one wish?"
The suli sits back, eating some snack as he continues to ponder possible wordings of wishes.

The suli, having recovered from the intense heat, is happy to see the efreeti again. "Baring gifts, I see. Wonderful!" Davod looks over the weapons and chooses the +2 rapier. The thief exchanges his MW cold iron broadsword for the rapier.

"Lady Pharos..", Davod pants. "I will wish to be immune to fire as soon as I am able.."
The suli looked up at the efreeti with an added wink.

Decorum gone, the heat-exhausted suli leans down and pulls his entire head in the cooling water, gulping loudly until rising from the water.
"BAHH! ...Thank you.."

Davod gasps, beginning to remove his heavier clothing. "WATER!!"

Davod carefully removes a very hot Greenlust's Daughter from his bag. "There! Take it!"

"..Davod..", the thief sputters over the intense heat.

Davod stays back to let the more fire-resistant members of the party discuss matters.

Davod stands behind the others, his cloak in front of him, in a vain attempt to block some of the heat.

Davod holds his cloak of elvenkind before his eyes as he examines the burning door.
"It's not locked!" The suli spat over the oppressive heat. "I'll see if it's trapped!"
Perception + Trapfinding: 1d20 + 11 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 11 + 3 = 29

The suli looks up with longing for the efreeti. "You are right, Kazko. Let us go."

Davod smiles knowingly up at Lady Pharos. "But I am a suli, dear lady. But you knew that already. Just getting me back for that one time, eh? Could your wish alter my fire resistance to a fire immunity without too many drawbacks?"

Davod looks up at the efreeti. "Can I wish to be immune to heat and fire, Lady Pharos? Or are you out of wish power after that teleport?"

Hesitantly he states, "I am... fine. Not hurt. Maybe a little tired."

The suli pats the celestial's shoulder in a friendly manner.

Davod turns to his beloved efreeti and waits to see what she will do with the proposed wish.

The suli quickly jumps on Carpet and flies over to the celestial.
"Sir Drystan, wasn't it? Are you alright?!"

Sneak Attack: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3) = 12

Round 2
With a swift action, Davod activates his Element Assault (Su) ability, and wreaths his arms in acidic energy for the next six rounds.
The suli presses his attack against the clone.
Shooting Starknife + Element Assault (Su): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Dmg.: 1d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 4 + (4) = 10

MW Sickle + Element Assault (Su): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Dmg.: 1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 4 + (1) = 11

Round 3
Shooting Starknife + Element Assault (Su): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Dmg.: 1d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (2) = 9

Her voice begins calm and collected, "Chains of Light, a 5th or 6th level spell. He should be fine, it only lasts rounds per level and he gets a save per round. But there is a clone spell tied to it." Her voice begins to rise in alertness and agitation, "The clones will attack and each round get stronger as he gets weaker... kill the clones!"

"You don't have to tell ME twice! Carpet!!"

Davod gets back on Carpet with a smile on his face.
"Lady Kalypso, are you still happy in your 'Golden Throne' despite his speed?" The suli asked the nymph.

"I'm sorry, Kazko. But I think I already used my wish already" Davod explained. "Maybe you could wish for leathered wings. Perhaps as an added bonus to make you look even more intimidating?"

Just letting you know it was originally bigger, for people to ride in.

Completely forgot about him... He quickly asks, "Davod you think the carpet could carry me as well, otherwise I will hold down the fort with Grim."

Sizing up the goliath, hard to believe he's a Medium creature Davod nods. "Yes..I believe we can all fit comfortably. Get on."

Aukan steps up onto the carpet and sits down at the back of the large carpet, with Davod laying down he sits behind Vivi.

At the mention of who is the fastest Carpet moves forward with a burst of speed and safely carries its three riders towards the flying creature with a speed of 120 feet per round. Up and to the side. He would then spiral around the horse giving 50 feet of room.

We are going to let it slide for now but will likely need to downsize carpet, otherwise there is going to be a butt load of curses. 5d4 curses!

It appears Carpet was originally a 4-seater.

GM Wolf, with Davod's magic carpet renewed, does that mean it has returned to a four-seater carpet?
That would mean, the suli could passenger 3 other people!

"Lady Pharos. I still have the small golden lamp galley charm from the prison. It could turn into a Nexian gallery at the Waypoints. Could you make it fly for us? Davod asked.

"CARPET!!" Davod cries for joy. "Thank you! Thank you again, Lady Pharos!!"

"Come on, Carpet! Let's fly!" Davod jumps up from the ground and climbs on his renewed intelligent flying carpet and flies wide circles around the assembled adventurers, hooting and shouting all the way.

Davod claps with happiness. "Wonderful work, Lady Pharos! Thank you!"

"Congratulations, Lady Kalypso!" The thief said to the nymph.

Davod breathed, his tone heavier. "I miss Carpet! He was a good friend for what little time we have. I wish I had Carpet back and fully restored."

The suli wiggles his finger holding his ring of sustenance. "I am not hungry, but I have five rations to contribute."

I can not believe so ready to share what I have! That is not like me. Maybe these people are changing me into a real hero, from the stories? Davod thought.
NAAHH!!

Davod offers the rations to Kalypso and begins to play his ocarina, hoping to lighten the mood. Perform (wind): 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (6) + 18 = 24

He relays to Davod, "I have Kalypso and anyone else that needs a ride. It is the least I can do. Plus you are scouting for us and helping on the front line."

"Thank you, Oolong. I appreciate the help." Turning to then nymph, Davod speaks, "There. A Golden throne. And a nice one at that. We just need to be rid of this anti-magic area and we'll get you back to your restored self again."

"Oh sweet Pharos", Davod responded. "Getting nearly eaten by the giant hydra was terrible, but my wounds have been healed, and I found some coin. Granted, i have no way to spend it right now."

The suli face takes on a grave expression. "I tried in vain to heal you. When I found you unconscious and in a bad state, I used all my positive energy to heal you so you could wake up. But I had no sense of healing arts and it wasn't enough. I am really glad you are all better."

I'd like to think Calypso is just sitting nearby, being all jealous.

The suli can't help but return the smile to the efreeti. "Thank you. I shall wait until we are out of this area. How are you feeling, Lady Pharos?"
"Is this place affecting you as well?"

Davod carefully sets down the nymph. "Lady Pharos. Have you meet Lady Kalypso? She was injured during her imprisonment. Would your magics heal her legs and feet?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (15) + 22 = 37

Aukan puts out his hand and a glowing green kukri with a black blade and bone handle appears. He offers it to Davod.

Davod is wide-eyed with shock over Aukan's gift. "Aukan! My 'akh! I can not accept this gift! I can not even wield it! You have the muscles to do so. I would just sell it for a fine bit of coin, if that is what you wish?!"

Later, Davod looks over his newfound treasures. The suli grabbed another set of mithril shirt armor, a ring of arcane signets, boots of the cat, and burglar's braces. Thje suli thief gleefully slipped on the bracers and new boots. Davod immediately loved how his feet felt in the boots, almost as if they shaped themselves to his feet.
The rogue bounced up and down in his boots. "These boots of the cat feel amazing!"

When the suli slipped the ring on his finger, the signet shifted form to show the symbol of an grasping hand with a D, A, V, O, and another D on each of the finger's tips. "My very own sigil, apparently", Davod marveled. "I just wish it didn't make it so obvious. Hmm."

Exiting out the door you find yourselves in a dilapidated stone building. Heading out you feel weak, you are in a village of black stone. Soon you find the edge of the village and see you are several hundred feet up on the Black Spire. All magic is nullified here.

Davod felt confused. "Why doesn't Freedom feel amazing? I feel terrible."

Davod nodded. "Indeed. Please, Nima. Show us what you found? I, too, must so over my spoils."

"Oh! Everyone! This is Kazko. A prisoner of this plane, just like us. As a surprise to no one, both Kazko and Aukan did well against the giant hydra"

The thief introduces everyone to Kazko. Davod gets to the angel. "I call him The Golden One, but I don't know his actual name."

Davod gets himself off the ground. "Great to see you, Nima. We nearly died in the jaws of the largest hydra I'd ever seen!"

A tired, bloody suli smiles as he looks up from the ground, his backpack seemingly full.
"Well! You are all a sight for sore eyes! Especially you, Lady Pharos!"
Davod looks around. "Did Nima cure you?"

Davod smiles broadly to hear lady Pharos's voice once again. That being said, the suli thief quickly takes off his handy haversack and scoops as much as he can of coin and jewels in 4 rounds, then runs toward the offered portal.

Davod peers out of his hiding place to see how the battles goes.
Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27

Round 5 and 6, hiding and healing, I am assuming.

Hahaha. Yup. Waiting for the right opportunity.
