David, heads into the other room. He takes a deep breath, and as he opens his mouth to talk, he hears the loud crash fro the other room. He rushes in, to see the deputy on the ground, and the window busted. He sees Victor try to gauge where they went, and he looks to him, So, see where they went? When he hears the grim news, David curses under his breath, Son of a,, He looks to Harry, Yeah, lets get the hell outta here before things really get ugly. I would have liked to know how and why they were connected to everything that happened? He looks to the sky, then the ground, then a thought crosses his mind, IS it possible, that those guys from the train that just ran, could be like the senator?
David, leaving the man with a nasty broken nose turns to meet the gaze of the young rifle-toting man. David, listens as he doesn't want to take a bullet to this head, despite the young man seem to be a complete novice at firearms training. Fine, but if one of these goons does anything stupid, I am NOT gonna stay nice! With that, he lowers his fists, but steps behind the goons so none of them can try anything stupid.
David, was trained to disarm his opponents and fight with honor. He struggles internally for seconds, that seem to last forever. He decides that this fight has nothing honorable about it. It isn't a tournament, there are no officials. This is a fight for survival. Survival demands that he must live, and see what this "reptilian conspiracy" is about. Stay down, quit fighting us! These are the only words he utters to the men attacking them, as David makes two strikes with the bottom of his foot downward on the fallen foe. martial attack: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1) + 6 = 10
David's eye go wide as he sees the events unfolding before him. He sees a pistol go sliding across the baggage floor, and people ducking and dodging as a bullet hits the floor near him. He looks up, eyes narrow into slits. He rushes forward, instincts kicking in, adrenaline coursing through his veins. David, takes his fist, and tries his best to disarm the man with crowbar trying to bash Harry's brains in, while sweeping the man's legs out from under him. Martial Arts to disarm crowbar: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 6 = 13
David, sitting idly by notices what he thinks as gunshots. He thinks the train in playing trick on him. He hears a footman buzz by the train at he is in. He peers out the door up ahead where the guy went. He looks to the others, I think something is going on ahead. I think our guys might be in danger! Marcus head the way the doorman is going. He hopes he won't see his companions bleeding on the ground.
David waves his hand as the snuff is offered. Never liked the stuff, tastes gross He than looks to the lady in company, and gives a chagrin. You'll smoke but scoff at chewing. Tobacco is tobacco no matter how you take it as he gives her a wink. David looks as Harry leaves the cart to check on Vic. After a few moments, he looks to the others, How long we give them before we assume the worst and check on them? What if those schmucks with the photos are armed with pistols. I know we would hear a shot, but..., his thought trails off.
David, stays silent through all of the potential commotion. I wonder if they work for the dead lizard thing? Or worse the government?! David, looks to the others, concerned about what the lizard-like alien things are doing to them. Not so much directly, but rather indirectly. In a low whisper, after the guys are gone, So, should we hunker down here? I might be able to take the guys without too much struggle, but that would cause suspicion to our travels?
David, so focused on trying to keep his father from dying in front of his eyes, keeps applying pressure to the wound. He wonders if the others will get back in time with any sort of medical help. doctor?: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8 I.Don't.Know. as David huffs and puffs with his cpr. What did you find over there?
David, sees his father lying on the ground, soaked in blood. He rushes to his father's side, grabbing his hand. It is still warm, but the warmth is deceiving as the life in him is all gone. Tears well up in his eyes, as he clutches his father's hand. He kisses the forehead, if I hadn't been so stubborn, and went into the family business. If I had been more like him, he would still be alive. Sadness subsides, but is immediately replaced with anger. An anger that burns so hot, he loses his composure for the situation at hand. You bastard. Who or whatever killed my father, I will crush you with my bare hands to avenge his death. You HEAR ME!! He gets up, looks around, with his nunchaku drawn in any event of hostilities arising. aid George in detective work, untrained?: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4
David, looks on as Morroway rushes for the stairs. Hey, where you going? At that moment, a thought crosses his mind, Father He rushes with the marksman, as he tries to see if his father is all right. Rush towards the stairs, trying to keep on eye out for any hostile people. What skill would that be?
David, has heard gun shots before living in the Bronx, but this all seems so surreal. He looks around, and decides that it was either now or never. He rushes from the supposed safety of the door frame and rushes forth to aid those fighting against the well armed assailants. He risks his own body. If I am gonna go down, I am not gonna go down without a fight David, tries to reach with rifle-toting man, and use his martial arts training to take the man down. What I am/was hoping for is to use martial arts to "disarm" him of his rifle? Is that even possible, if not I will revise my action. martial arts: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 6) + 6 = 15
David hears the gunshot and cannot help but be startled out of his deep thoughts. I hope father..., he thinks to himself briefly. He listens to the advice of the others, seemingly more equipped than he with deadly weaponry. He takes cover behind the doorframe opposite of Mr. Winkle. He listens in an attempt to gauge if anyone tries to come up the stairs.
After a few moments to collect himself, he returns back down to the basement. Sorry about that everyone, but how can you all be so calm when there is some creepy scaly creature...who apparently was a high ranking official? He hears the last bit of Miss Cardue's thought of investigating the person/things office. Hmm, well it couldn't hurt could it? The worse that happens is that we don't turn up any ideas of where to go to next. David, looks down at the strange creature once more, but this time doesn't cringe or anything as he has gotten use to it buy now. A horrific thought crosses his mind just then...if this is indeed an alien or something, AND an official with some power...did my father know about this? He doesn't want to go barging into the office, so he awaits the overall consensus of the group gathered in the basement.
David has seen everything, or so he thought. What the world is going on, the hunting trip dad forced me to go on got rained out. And now the "amazing" hospitality is... These thought tumble around in his mind as he goes downstairs to the basement with everyone else. His thoughts are interrupted like a Mack truck careening off the road into a hot dog stand. What the hell! What is that f~+$ing thing anyways? I have heard rumors of crocodiles in the sewers before, but this is all sorts of messed up!, he exclaims in both confusion and a little bit of anger. After he composes himself, David looks to the British man next to him, than to his father, so, is what what you had in mind father when you wanted me to be "more civilized" and "more like my brothers? He then turns away, the sight and smell before him is enough to make him gag on whatever he had just finished eating. Ugh, now that I nearly threw up my dinner, can we please go the hell upstairs and try and get this figured out. I have seen worse things eaten out of the garbage on streets behind the burger shop. If over the top please let me know and I can tone it down :)
David sleeps, and sleeps hard. The noise of Nathan, doesn't even wake him. In the morning he is startled when he sees Nathan sleeping away, man, I have got sleep lighter, lest I want to be dead sooner rather than later. David, eats a small breakfast, has some light conversation with Nathan on how the town is doing with the approaching battle. David takes a few moments to prepare himself , his spell pouch and to make sure everything is in order before they depart. When they stop, to look at the trio of caves. He has no idea who or what may be down there, and he listens to the others debate on how to proceed. To attack or not to attack, to gather info or how to gather info. David, looks up to the sky, and then looks around to the others, Look, we are not going to learn anything from way up here. While I hate the thought of getting closer, it is the only way we are to at least get an idea of how many there are, and whether we even stand a chance of disrupting whatever corrupt plans they have What the HELL am I say, I have spent way too much time around Taaliesin, and Elenzar.
Hiw did Forfax go down so quick. I know he took 21 damage just now, but where did the other come from. I thought I healed you the previous night? Am I missing the other 28 that took u from 31--3? David, seeing Forfax drop in a bloody mess knows that he won't be able to get to him in time to heal his injuries and prays that he can hold on til he does. David, steps from behind cover and moves closer to Firfax, while sending two more orbs of force at the archer in back. mm archer: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 4) + 2 = 8
back at the battleground:
David, once he sees everyone is at least breathing and not dead he takes a big breathe and exhales; knowing that they are in deed lucky. He grabs his wand from his pack, and starts using charges to bring everyone to full strength. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Taliesin
Anyone else I may have missed please speak up :) at camp: I may not know much about who Crag Hack is, but I do believe in destiny. Destiny has kept us alive for a reason, whether that reason be to take out the legendary Crag Hack is unknown yet, but we ALL has a destiny to fulfill, and fulfill it we shall. Arvinth, you better stay alive friend, you still have much to teach both Taliesin and myself. I lost my father, I have lost enough at such a young age, I cannot lose you or my friends as well. With those words, he eats, and tries to get some sleep. There is a long journey ahead through the woods tomorrow to reach their destination in a timely manner
