dot. Thanks for the pointing out what was wrong. I'll fix it now.
Edit:by the way, is there rules for dual wielding weapons? The best I could find was:
Hand guns can be used to fire at two targets,
or twice at one target. If firing at two separate
targets each attack is at -2 to hit. If firing two sh
ots at one target there is no modifier. Each attack
is resolved separately. Shotguns can fire twice at
one target (no modifier to hit, small effect), fire
at two different targets (modifier -2 to hit, sm
all effect), or fire both barrels at once (+1
modifier to hit, big effect at SHORT range ONLY
). In all but the last case the two shots are
resolved separately. The doubled Effect of firing
two barrels simultaneously is felt at short range
ONLY!
Should I use that?

Not really any benefit for TWF. Some weapons give multiple attacks per round (mostly unarmed attacks, guns, and if you have Martial Artist), but it has nothing to do with how many you're wielding.

Miss Evelyn Cardue |

Evelyn (Evie) Cardue is a young upperclass woman from Southern England. She has, for some time been gaining a reputation on the continent and in Britain as a talented and imaginative post-impressionist artist. More recently, her work has begun to be shown in America, where her clever use of blocks of vivid colours in grand abstract landscapes has caused a stir amongst collectors.

Posted as Gil. Still working on background, but unsure if I have the skills part done correctly. I have 25 points total to spend on stats/skills? If so I think I add up to 23?
It looks like you've only spent 3 points on skills, for a total of 20. Go ahead and fill out your background and spend the rest of your build points, and we'll get started.

Check it over and let me know what you think.
He looks pretty good.
I'll kick off the gameplay here in a minute.
How would everyone feel about rearranging the dice mechanic to be simply 2d6+Skill vs. a target DC? It would be mathematically equivalent, but more intuitive (with higher numbers better) and eliminate the use of the table.

As I mentioned in the description, part of the festivities was a planned hunting trip. Since you're away from the city and weren't suspicious of anything before, you probably wouldn't have any sidearms on your immediate person, but they could easily be in your room upstairs. If you didn't bring a rifle or shotgun yourself, there would have been one provided for you if you want to retrieve it.

David, some notes on writing style (minor, feel free to disregard):
These thought tumble around in his mind as he goes downstairs to the basement with everyone else. His thoughts are interrupted like a Mack truck careening off the road into a hot dog stand.
A Mack truck presumably does not exist in this setting. Although it is not something your character said, it still might be more period-appropriate to say "a motorcar".
What the hell! What is that f!**ing thing anyways?
While this language was in use at the time, often written discourse used creative sidestepping as opposed to letter censorship, so you might say "swore" or even "spoke an oath". But of course whether we're imagining this as a written novel or a more literal happening would impact the relevance of that.
Just some ideas. No objection to your post at all.

By "wireless" I mean wireless telegraphy. You're right that voice transmission is still in the future, but I'm referring to simple Morse code transmissions.
