Davey grew up in Deadbridge as a ship's doctor and alchemist. During his time there, he learned how to better aim a crossbow or a bomb while his boat was swaying on waves. He also learned how to swim in the many rivers of the Kingdoms. His time as a surgeon owned him the nickname of Doc Jekyll, so much that he'd rather be called that than Davey.
Although he was raised in the River Kingdoms, Doc Jekyll longed for the sea. He began travelling further and further away from his homeland, desiring to see as much of the sea as he could. All while plundering, and learning alchemy.
He came to Port Peril in search of his destiny, and after a few drinks at a tavern called the Formidably Maid, he went down to the docks to take in a view of the sea. The last thing he remembers is a blow to the back of your head and the waves rushing up to meet him.
