one note on psionics, just because a PC has psionic abilities doesn't mean NPCs need to have them. You can quite easily say that psionic abilities are extremely rare. (To use another system, shadowrun, you can have them be like magic users, 1 in a million, which for our setting, a million is QUITE a large number. Even then sometimes they never even find their powers, or use them for more than menial tasks.) Perhaps a deadly boss had these abilities instead of the magic they normally had? Just my 2 cents. Also, I've noticed that my "Warrior of the holy light" archetype makes use of mostly morale bonuses... somewhat saddening. Oh well, I suppose it won't be particularly useful until level 8 when it heals ability damage/drain. And yes, the shield bonus increases equally with mine, which is why I will likely pick up shield focus after a couple other feats. additionally at level 11 its area of effect expands haha.

fort: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 sorry, first couple weeks of semester take up some time :P Haha! Someone should call pest control! he moves to the closest ant and Slams his shield down at its head. attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Hah! I am but a tad tired. Its necrotic energy is fading from me as we speak, however, I will be a wee bit weaker for a bit. As for that, a paladin never touches and tells! Bwhaha.
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
ha-ha! What is problem skelly man? You can no hit paladin? Perhaps you are afraid ahaha! Well, I suppose you should be. Darrien realized that his best bet is to simple keep touching the skeleton in places that bother him. So he brings his shield in to better defend himself. attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 2 - 4 = 23 LoH: 1d6 ⇒ 1 ha-ha! Oops I think I broke rib. No worry, I know wolf back home. Greatly enjoy this. if possible Darrien will move to get his back to the lit edge. If that would put him in striking rangebof the black skeleton still. Also, if no one else was using that sword, Darrien -could- use it edit: I think I tickled his belly. I say we use the 3 I rolled.on my other one haha. Since ya know, it woulda been that anyway. Lol :P

oops, I always forget it's not like the clerics channel. But doesn't matter. Mission accomplished. Btw why wouldn't you? Do you not get morale bonus on inflict wounds spells?

"Alternatively, a paladin can use this healing power to deal damage to undead creatures, dealing 1d6 points of damage for every two levels the paladin possesses. Using lay on hands in this way requires a successful melee touch attack and doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity. Undead do not receive a saving throw against this damage." Edit: ninja'd

ha-ha! You hit like baby ram! No horns yet! He taunts as he blocks the blows with his shield. He will move to flank the black skeleton, taking a AoO if he must. now, let the light within me shine out against the darkness! Using lay on hands as a touch attack. Tattack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14 +1 for morale bonus? damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8 +1 for morale bonus? positive energy should bypass his DR
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
well I figured it was hp damage only. Honestly I've rarely had ability damage in games so it doesn't normally pop up in my ideas. And in another level I think I can heal ability damage/drain as well as give 3 armor as a shield bonus.
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
I would have just bashed the nearest threat to others, so probably one of the other skelly. Wait for our resident reach user to back away so I can shift in my next turn.

and unfortunately, most of my other stuff doesn't turn on for another level. But fear not! I have something that'll get through that DR... By the by, I have a +2 trait bonus on initiative, so its a +3 ;) sorry I missed it though m

ha-ha! Never fear, Rossburg is here! Come you blackened corpse of frostbite! Let me show you a move that will be passed down for generations to come in the rossburg family! He will move up to the skeleton and strike out attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 +2 if I can manage a flank damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 Bypass DR/magic and or bludgeoning
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
Tell me, have you come across a room with but one entrance and exit? Perhaps that old room with the worn out wooden bed? How far back was that again? Darrien looks around a bit. Then looks to Lars.
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
Well then, if you were that tired, you could have just said so! Up you go then! Darrien will toss Sorek on his back. Perhaps we should find a defensible place until they wake up yes?
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 Why is everyone sleeping? It is not nap time yet! Wake up! Darrien will heft one of the sleeping companions up and begin lightly smacking their face.
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
sorry, no interaction with roll20 available. Would have moved within range. ha-ha! Come snake, show me your best bite! Then I show you mine! darrien will move, (provoking AoO) to get into a flanking position if possible. Fighting defensivly (AC:25) attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 1 - 4 = 22 (+2 if flanking) damage: 1d4 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 1 = 11 or maybe I go first eh!?

bah, if they had but listened. They thought they were invincible, that they didn't need my shield... Alas, I laid them to rest after retrieving them, now I will live for them as well. But enough of thiz morbid banter! Come friends let us sing a song in memory of our fallen comrades, in a place like this, the light of joy is always needed after all he sings a short verse, a Tad off key, then pats Lars on the back. I prefer milk myself, goat milk! Great for building muscle, and character! this is my shield, forged it myself with divine guidance. from a battered and broken door. It reflects me, once broken, but now forged anew, and made up of much sterner stuff! he shows the holy symbol etched onto the front of the shield. unbreakable is its name! No blow has ever defeated this shield, and I'll see to it that none ever do! As to why I am here? Im here to protect the light of joy in this world, and to shine light like a star in the blackest voids. To this place the light will come, and I will see that those who drive out the light are protected, so that no matter how the icy wind blows, they will never be snuffed out.

That would give a good way for Darrien to make an appearance and show his stuff. Also, if it's and condolence, darrien can halt a posion for 1 hour per lay on hands. I can't remove it until 9th level, but it still says it stops it for an hour even if I don't remove it. Also, as I've told the DM, my laptop screen got cracked to the point I can't use it when I moved, so roll20 availability will be, scarce, for me to say the least. My apologies. And nuala, it may be because you need to create a user account first, (no charge, and it's easy) but otherwise the link is trying to take you somewhere you don't have access to so it won't work
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
Yeah, I was looking at that, having a familiar benefit from smite, with bastion, would mean that I would also recieve 1/2 damage, as long as our area of effects overlap. I probably won't/wouldnt take it, just a thought. Also, shields can be wielded two handed, (for 1/3 ratio), and yes, the morale bonus stays the same, but it also does other, fairly nifty things, imagine at 12th, you get hit with a crit, but that 25% fortification stops it. ;) Darrien would be just getting there, no party before hand
M Human Paladin (sacred shield/warrior of the holy light ) HP:38 AC:23 (T:12 FF:22) Fort: +10 Ref: +6 Will: +9 int +3 perception +7
All that said, if we have a lot of morale bonuses being thrown around to AC/attack/damage I could drop warrior of the holy light. Also, what are the folks here thoughts on the chosen one archetype? It would put me back another level for divine grace.... but I get a familiar / summons haha

"Ah, good evening my friendz, it iz good to see you. You will not regret picking the unbreaking shield, you will see. Haha, as for taking hits, it iz nothing to me! Let us bring light to zhis dark place. Now stand behind me!" High folks- as for the debate on my paladin- yes, I've played many a "whack-a-mole" paladin, and wanted to try something different, and had a pretty good character concept for this fella. Think of him as part braum (league of legends) part Armstrong(full metal alchemist) part normal man doing what he can for the world. As for taking hits- 23 AC, and 10 uses of lay on hands that heal 2d6+4 ATM. (Will be getting more, a lot more,) at later levels. The idea is to protect you folks, while being a decent threat to enemies. He won't bring down a balor in one round like my first paladin could haha. But he provides a large batch of other things to boost a party, and yes, the very first thing I thought of after reading the bastion ability was AoE effects. And at later levels his little tricks start to hurt bad guys as well. To give an idea, these are my plans for feats in the next levels -
