About Damirashipal

i have hatched a slave... oh, i'm sorry, my name is Damirashipel, yes, i know it is hard to prenounce... now could i return to the story?, thenk yee...
now, were was i, wo! yes... i have hatched a slave in the sity of brass in the Plane of Molten Skies, oh!, how i know my name?, wll, a good question, the answer is, i don't
in the palace i was just a slave, so i gave myself a name thet meant "the one who goes where he wishes" in draconic.
as Yndri Ysalaa, which was one of the leaders of the sity,'s slave i was tasked with whatever task she wanted, i all-most died in her service, but we will talk about thet later...,
i was allowednothing exept the bare neccesities of life. i was trained to serve in the harshest of ways, with unbeareble turtore for days whenever i didnt obey.
when i was 54 i was sent to bring a staff to a hold in the abyss, as i passed thrugh the portal, i was given a map and a long bundle thet contained the staff, why did i not run away?,
well, they wold of got my brother, and i wold have been left in the abyss with no way beck, so, i followed the path as much as i could because they were not allowed to atteck one who is on the path,
and so, i walked, hoping nothing wold atteck mr, you could never truest demons, NEVER, even with thretend with otter destruction, they are cretures of chaos,
somthing was wrong, the path ended, it was not supposed to end here, it was supposed to go on for miles, this is so wrong, wait, a dash of bright color- a demon!, no,
it was too small and to pretty, i couldnt quite see it, it just cept moving un-stedily, well, there were no splits in the road on the way here, soooo, i didnt relly have a choise,
or did its beuty just charm me?, well, we will never know, it led me all the way to the keep and back, nothing else worth mentioning on the way.
after 67 years of painful service i was tasked with spying on the Grand Vizier Abdul-Qawi, after a week or so of preperation i was sent to his tower soon after i arrived i was shot
by his wisards lightning bolt, my vision blurred and i collapsed, all went dark... how ironic, my impending deth has finaly freed my from my bonds.
in darkness and unbeareble pain, i saw somthing, a creature, it was huge, the size of one of those you call "true" dragons, it had thin silk-like wings of swirling colors,
it had feelers on its head, when i thught about it, it is like thet colorful thing i saw befure, just far larger.
i awoke two days later by a minstrel-bard how'm i have later lerned to call him egun, he has healed me while i was unconscious, and for thet i owe him my life.
"you shoulden't rise, young one, for you do not seem well" the bard sayd, "who are you?" i asked in pain which was mostly gone, confused, "me?" he sayd "i am no one, just a wanderer passing by"
"thank thee" i sayd "i owe you my life" "no,no, there is no need, you just seemed to need help, it is ones duty to help the innocent in need" he sayd dissmissivly with a slight smirk on his face,
"now go rest... you are in dier need of some healing, good thing your pepole are so resistate, hah! how pepole wold prefer it was otherwise." he sayd in a soothing tone while playing
a lute which i have not seen him take out, and slowly, my eyes closed and i fell to blessed sleep...
i know not how long i slept, but i awoke in a ship, in a place different then anything i knew, the sky were blue, un-like the sky were in the Plane of Molten Skies, well, i guess thet
much is obvius from the name, it was not a small ship, but not a large one too, "where am I?" I asked the bard thet from now on i will call egun, "we are in the prime metirial plain,
on ower way to Vigil, he aptly named Vigil is the seat of the Watcher-Lord. The high spires of Castle Overwatch afford a commanding view of the area.
The horsemasters of Vigil breed and train the might destriers and swift coursers that bear Lastwall's finest into battle," he sayd off-handedly
i did not respond even thou i had no idea what he just explaind. luckey me thet it took us nearly three monthes to reach vigil, on our sailing he taught me about the planes, and
aspecialey about the prime matirial plain, he taught me about the caulture of this plain and about beutiful places and the gods.
a few days befure we reached the harbour a ship stopped us, it was full of savage looking man, i was underboard for the time, and saw as they took eguns purse and all his
gold in it, may-be it is becuse of my heritage or becuse i was raised in a sity in which tresure and power were the two most meaningful things, but i hated them at the moment so much
i nearly jumped out, but i restraind myself, knowing thet they wold of killed us both, but i waited.
when they finnely left the horizon i went out of the under-deck "i will kill them" i sayd "please. don't" he answerd slowly and feebly,
i was shoked by his tone and stepped beckward "it will solve nothing, desna says revange is a sin".
from then to the sity he told me about his godess, desna, the godess of travel, luck and freedom, i wasnt relly interested, but listend anyway, i owed him thet,
i discoverd thet the colorful creture i saw was her servent, the Star monarch.
when we reached the sity the costumes and harbur tax officer came on board "the fee for entering the port is one gold coin and five silvers, for bringing your goods you are feed with
a gold coin for evry one hundred and twenty five gold coins of value of your goods, for evry humanoid on the ship you are to pay a single gold coin, for keeping your ship in the harbur
you pay your ships size classification in coppers for evry ten days in port" the officer sayed monotonicly as if he sayd it for hundreds of times, which he probobly did,
"do you bring goods?" he asked "no" egun sayd while slipping five platinium coins out of his boot and slipped them to the officers hand, "welcome mister don, you are welcomed to vigil"
egun hid me in a large crate on weels "wold you need workers with thet mister don?" the officer asked "i could offer you two for an hour"
"they wold be welcomed" egun answerd, the officer brught two fingers up and two large man came on board "assist him for the next hour" the officer sayd without looking at the workers
we were at an empty werehouse in which he lifted off the top of the crate and let me out, "sorry now young one" egun sayd "i can no longer stay with you. i must leave"
"i owe you my life. a debt i will never forget" i answerd, he grinned, "then you are going to spend thousends of years trying to save n' old ghoust?, hah!, i dont think so!"
and then he was simpely gone, i was starteld, and afraid, the only person i knew thes has treated me well was now gone, i didnt know what to do.
"he will be a problem" xevik the elf sayd "he is going to find out about you", "about me?, hah, i doubet thet" i answerd "but then again, we must be carful"
"he is staying in a hired room in The Lady's Shield-Hand inn if you wonderd" xevik stated "dont worry, i will handle everything" i stated.
a week later he rode swiftly out of the sity to help his sick sister in a far-away land, "thet was costly" i told xevik, noting the diffrence in the size of my hoard.
"they will be here in an hour or so" xevik sayd "you will pay for my servises now" "fine" i sayd handing?, or should i say 'clawing', him a satchel filled with gold
he peeked into the setchel while taking it, confirming it was full, once he did, he simpely went out of the werehouse, i started to swiftly pack my objects and herd from the door "halt!",
then, i did a mistake, i didn't, i grabed what i packed and sprinted towrds the other exit, i was hit on the back of my head and passed out.
when i awoke i was in a seller, naked and chained, no, not a seller, a dongeun, and i was alone there, thick chains connected my backer left leg to the wall, my nozzle was reined
and my wings were pinned to my back with a piece of fabric thet was tightend to me, i yelled, but nobody responded, i tried to stretch my wings,
the fabric was too strong, i tried to fill my mouth with fire to melt the chain, it didn't melt, i looked around again to check the room,
the walls were made of solid rock. there was only one door made of steel, no bars and no windowes.
i could do nothing, i was helpless.
the next day, a small opening in the bottom of the door was opend and a boul of porridge with pieces of meat in it, and after it a boul of water, "for you" i heard otside the door,
i grouled, "hah!, thet aint gonna help ye here, you will go out when they say you go out" he sayd, and the hatch closed.
i prayed, to the only god i knew, desna, she was the godess of freedom after all, i prayed for her each night, but there was no help.
after two more weeks, i was chained even more and led to the court, how luckey i was thet Ulthun the 2th, the watch-lord, was present, he was what is called, a paladin.
"why are you in my sity, dragon" he asked, he made the word sound like a curse, an insult, i didn't care, i just wished to be free, i tried talking, but all i could do was making muffled soundes,
"remove his gag" he told his guards, "but, sir, hes a dragon", the guard said with wery, "evry sentient being is granted a chance, we will not take his without hearing him"
the guard moved towrds me, "i will remove your gag, if you make the slightest movment, i will put my spear in your brain", he placed his spear in front of my face and slowly removed my gag,
"your breath can-not harm our blessed king, but if you will as much as think about trying..." he trailed off, " i reapet, why are you in my sity?" the watch-lord prenounced slowly,
"i was mearly living here, without any harm done to any other per-" "he is obviosly lying, my liege" one of his advisors stated, cutting me off, "do you have a proof?" the watch-lord asked me
"does evry one of your sitizens need to proof he hes done nothing wrong?, or should they only have proofes thet they did nothing when others proof the ARE guil-"
"silence!!!" the advisor sayd "you will not speak like thet to the watch-lord!" "he has a point" the watch-lord calmly stated "do we have any blame aginst him?" he contineud,
"you may leave, but never come back, on a pain of death" the advisor sayd "no" the watch-lord sayd "leave us, all of you" the guard started dragging me back to the sall,
"no, lwave him here" the watch-lord told the guard "but, my liege" "no, leave him here, i will talk to him by myself" "of-course", and they left me there alone with him, the watch-lord,
"i was told you prey in you sall, and to whom do you worship?. one of those wyrm-gods of yours, i conclude" "no" i answerd meekly "i preyd for desna to free me",
"hmmm, how is it thet a dragon comes to worship a humanoid godess?" "i know no other god, i was a slave for most my life" "and whom did you serve?" "ifreets, in the sity of brass"
"... unfourtunetly i can not let a dragon wonder in my sity visibly-" "i understand-" "no, then i will give you this to disguise yourself" he said, drawing a simple black wool hat,
"while you wear this hat, you can be any-one you want, just please, look humanoid" "i-i dont understand" "well, i can not let my sitizens know there is a dragon wondering in our sity,
but nor will i prevent you from beeing here just because how you were born" "th-thank you" "there is no need, i just did what anyone should", and so,
i lived in vigil for a short time, erning gold by secretly using my electric breath for a blacksmith, who was one of the only prpole in the sity to know of my true nature,
after two years of work he said he has to sell his workshop, and as a good-bye gift he made me an armour thet fit my draconic nature.
after thet, i left vigil to travel the world, and see the hidden beutey it has to offer,
IN THE NAME OF DESNA.
