Like most third sons of any noble family, Yorinaga expected to spend his life as a monk, praying. But a twist of fate changed all that.
War came. His father and two elder brothers were among the first casualties of the renewed hostilities with their neighbor. There was no choice. Yorinaga had to take up the sword to avenge his family and restore their honor.
Unfortunately, fate would once against play a cruel joke. Word came that the family's overlord had concluded a treaty with the treacherous enemy.
The moment having passed. Yorinaga now waits. War will come even if he has to help it along. And the enemy will come to fear the symbol of the raging dragon.

A childhood sickness cursed Yorinaga with the unique appearance he has today. The nerves of his face were damaged that his face is forever stuck in a perpetual scowl. This has the unexpected benefit in his vocation as a samurai.
