Cynnara is a petite young woman, barely five feet tall. She has dark olive skin and long black hair. She wears clothing that is pretty, but deceptively practical, preferring warm colors.

==Background==

Cynnara is currently estranged from her family. She lives in the Vedic quarter where she acts as a hostess at a popular inn. She is often mistaken for a courtesan, but she is quick to point out that she sells her time, not her body. Her beauty and warm personality make her quite popular. This suits her just fine because she needs the extra coin to support her daughter. Cynnara has a seven year old daughter named Miya, the result of a youthful indiscretion and the source of the estrangement from her family. Cynnara wants Miya to have a better life than she can give her, so she pays handsomely for a family in the nicer part of town to care for Miya. However in the last two weeks Miya has been strangely absent when she went to visit her. There were plenty of excuses, but finally when she confronted them the family was forced to admit that Miya had gone missing. Cynnara has been searching high and low for her missing daughter, and so far the only lead she has to go on is a single name. Ghazi.
