What do you mean "nuance is OVER"? The real question now is which color is best color? The answer is most likely green. While there some arguments towards blue, some people would argue, in bad faith, that red a valid answer.

A little gnome, hearing her name roared, comes running up to Gallix. "Yes, we have!" She laughs, offering Gallix a hug. "You always did know how to make an entrance. Tea? Then let's hear all your adventures."

The gnome settles in, prepared to hear stories of the group whose legend will never die.

"I can escort her back, if all of you would like," Cup offers. But she's just as happy to travel along with her friends back to town when a metal bird flies through the cave and lands in her palm.

Cup opens the message it's carrying, and her face falls. "Oh no. It's my mom... Dad's sick." Tears in her eyes, she hugs the members of her team. "I've got to go. I've been called back to Absalom. Take good care of yourselves." Then she turns to Kai. "And take care of them for me, you hear?"

Exit Cup, stage left. Good luck with the module and the mystery, guys!

It is fun being part of this group again. It's just that with the ramp up to PF2 there's been a ton more things to track, and I need to pare down for sanity.

"Wait, Gallix!" Cup says. "You've been studying magic, right? Can you use this?" She hands him a scroll of Aram Zey's Focus. "Cast this on yourself before you do locks!"

Cup sings a song about Green things that really inspires the group.

Cup rides happily on Oolong's back, taking in the trek, and checking out all the scenery.

"Oh, how interesting. They're all casters of some sort, and with those spellbooks, I am guessing Wizards. Though... I have a spellbook too, and I'm really not a wizard." Cup sucks in her breath for a moment, and then details their outfits and what they were carrying. "Four identical amulets? Pep, Sirettis... Do you recognize this symbol? It looks almost astronomical..."

Perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25

Then, being low to the ground, she fishes out the folded piece of paper.

"Xs and Os and a map of Dustpawn... I believe that we have some places to search out our mystery."

Is Leeara's cave one of the places that was marked?

She shows the map to Dalviss. "Where are these places? Are any of them familiar to you?"

Knowledge Geography, Places on the Map: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

Breadth of Experience means that Cup is treated like she has a couple ranks in every profession.

"These recipes are amazing! Liara is very talented... But why would she leave her book behind? It would be like me leaving behind my tea journal." She frowns. "I do hope she's alright."

Cup looks to Pep when he opens the door. "Oh, aren't you the clever one? This is what I love about wizards. They're always prepared!"

Cup kneels down with delight when she finds the muddy footprints. "Let's get a look at you prospectors!"

UMD: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22

With a light tap of her wand of residual tracking, she takes a closer look at them.

UMD on other footprints: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
Yet more footprint UMD: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
UMD for the fourth time: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18

She concentrates, but this spell does not go off. "Bother."

UMD again: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32

"Ah, there you are."

What do they look like, and what are they wearing?

Cup thinks of something. "Dalviss, can we see the room of these prospectors? I am curious about them."

And if they are indifferent housekeepers, maybe I can find a footprint, and get a good look at them."

Cup taps Gallix with the wand. "Now read it for yourself!"

I'm sorry if I was missing! I literally did not notice the last two days worth of updates.

Cup deftly pulls the book from Mr. Peppers, pulling out her wand of Kreighton's Perusal. She gives herself a very quick read of the entire book and then offers the wand to Pep. "Want to read with me?" She looks around. "Why would the girl leave all her clothes here? She clearly was intending to come back..."

Perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (15) + 20 = 35

"If any of you spot a footprint, can you let me know? I'd like a better idea of what we're dealing with."

Are there any footprints here, near Leeara's room, or by the Cultist's rooms? I have a wand that of Residual Tracking I *love* to use on footprints.

"I would like to look at Leeara's room," Cup says. "But, could you tell us a bit about more about her, and what she likes to do?"

"Oh, I don't need a horse! I have my own mount, Oolong!" The dog pants happily, just excited to be remembered!

Cup enjoys the long journey, watching the scenery go by, chatting with her friends, and just being in glorious Isger again. When she arrives she make sure to compliment everyone on their goats. "Your kids are adorable!"

Cup's Take Ten Diplomacy is 30, but if she auto-aids Mr. Peppers, she adds +4 for a total of 31 going into Dustpawn.

"We've missed you too! Oh my gosh, how is everyone?" Cup asks. "I want to hear all about it!"

"To ISGER?! Isger the dangerous, the home of invading goblins and monsters that come out of the Fangwood? Isger, home of Umok, which may be the best place to raise a gnomish family and have no one bleach? And to investigate a Falling Star? And maybe see all our friends in Saringallow again?" The little gnome is so excited, she's practically floating in air. "Yes, let's go there!"

"Oh, awesome. We should go, together!" Cup claps her hands. "Maybe we can even be assigned to the same mission."

"Oh you know me, always traveling! I went to the Plane of Air for a while, but caught a ride back to the Material Plane. I was hoping that the nearby Lantern Lodge might have a portal back to Absalom, but if they don't, we could take a ship! It's so good to see you all!" She hugs Sirettis back. "Love what you've done with your hair!"

Inside the restaurant

Cup happily chatters with the host over a cup of tea. "I love all the flavors that you've brewed into this chai... so many aromas and after notes." Then her eyes light up as she sees who's waiting at the door. "D! Sirettis! Oh is the entire Red Arm here?"

Indeed, it was a pleasure playing with Stali! He is welcome back in future games.

Which reminds me, will we ever see Cup again? :)

I'll conclude this scenario tomorrow and should have chronicles up shortly after that.

If you want Cup, she's level 8. But I GMed this two years ago, so you may not want me.

Cup was born in the PbP world, but has played in 3 or 4 live games as well.

Meanwhile, somewhere back in Absalom...

A little gnome sits drinking tea, when suddenly she thinks of Pep. I wonder who Tall, Dark and Disgruntled is making fun of now that I am not around? Then she thinks, He’d better not have found some other gnome!

You have to say, “I love gnomes!” before they’ll let you in.

We have a GREAT clubhouse in Absalom’s Restful Pathfinder’s Lodge.

Cup, sit this one out and take a solid break! You know you've been so busy with cons, overseeing, organizing online events, and the many other VC issues I'm sure come up on a day-to-day basis. No one will ever take your spot here permanently. Just think you could use a break.

I'd like to run Season 1's #40 Hall of Drunken Heroes. Great reviews, a bit of classic dungeon crawling, and a few difficult encounters from what I have read of it so far. Well, not difficult for the Red Arm. ;)

“Gallix is right. You should come! We’ll serve you tea! Not just the five varieties I have with me, but the other 30 blends that I have back in the club house. I’ve been experimenting with some interesting varieties. We could have a tea party and try them all!” Cup bounces, happily! “You’ll love staying with us. We have a whole floor of a clubhouse, and my family makes the best cakes and they deliver.” She smiles up at her team. “The plane of air was terrific. Where do we want to go next?”

Some thoughts::

This may all settle down shortly. Right now though PBP Gameday is a frantic mess. If you’re willing to GM for 7 Red, I am willing to play in a simple adventure. If you don’t want a distracted gnome, i am also willing to take a complete break and let the rest of y’all be awesome.

My suggestion for an adventure: Ghenett Manor Gauntlet, 5-9. It’s a charming dungeon crawl & rescue mission through someone’s deliberately booby-trapped mansion. The premise: the first team crit-failed their diplomacy, and now you have to haul their asses out.

I have GMed it but not played.

Would you guys like a chance to play with Bret in the next scenario? It would give you a chance to work together as a team before playing together in the special, and I can have Cup step out for a bit. I’ve been incredibly distracted with the Gameday launch!

Cup cannot play Assault on Absalom — alas, I applied that one to her already. Bret would love to play with you, but I think Stali is level 7 or 8.

Cup waits for her turn, when she plans to cast Good Hope and start to sing for her team’s glory. It’s my busy day, GM, so feel free to enact both on my turn for me.

Cup feels the falling sensation and then recognizes the vision. Grabbing Sirettis and Pep’s hands, she says, “That looks like High M’Vania, Pazazu’s abyssal realm.”

Cup flies upward. “Agreed! It’s an honor. We’re not fools though — we’re simply a team that loves a challenge.”

Can Cup aid anyone else with their flight? She flies with a +18 to her skill, so can automatically aid someone for +4

Still inspiring courage, Cup moves forward to whip at Red, aiding Gallix’s next attack.

Until recently, Dolphins took a -4 to their attacks for bludgeoning in the water. As if they were unfamiliar with how to do that.

Buff cast prior to arrival... Good Hope!

Cup raises an eyebrow, and then mutters, "Oh? Well, they're not immune to this."

Cup casts Glitterdust on the Red and Green Cloud Golems.

Will Save, DC 17 to avoid blinding. It does not offer spell resistance, so it goes right through the Golem's immunity.

I believe it debuted here, though Paizo Staff and others can certainly correct me if I got this wrong. I picked it up here in the PaizoCon store — so pretty!

Now my Play-by-Post bard, Cup, can be properly attired!

“Yes, I’m eager to get started!” Cup chirps in. “If you have any cleaning that needs done, I have magic to help!” She smiles up at the demon. “You are too wise to be fooled, but you’ll find that with the right equipment I’m an excellent flier. Even without, I’m experienced with subjective directional gravity. I know how it works, and I can get around!”

Cup floats up on her winged boots and bows. “I am your humblest servant, but it is an honor to be here, excellency. Will you put us lowly servants to work? I can amuse — telling tales of the hilarious incompetents of the material plane, or sing, or do other tasks.” Her little face radiates sincerity.

Bluff: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40
