I'm running the first book of AV and my players are in the middle of the 2nd floor, the Servant's Quarters.
One of my players is an Automaton and wanted to weave his background within the Abomination Vaults and he suggested that he woke up on the surroundings of Gauntlight. He's on a quest to find his place of origin and find others like him.
So we're going with the idea that he was created on the Abomination Vaults.
I've replaced/rethemed the clockworks remains on the Servant's Quarters with Automaton corpses to give him an insight that there were others like him and he might be too late.
I haven't read in depth the 2nd and 3rd book just snooped over them, but I couldn't find any other references to clockwork beings later in the adventure.
Does anyone have an insight about what floor I might look with more detail?
I was hoping to retheme/reskin some rooms into an Automaton workshop to give my player more story development?
