Bio:

Claudia von Reegan - Myhr, was born some 19 years ago.

Prior to that, the Von Reegan family, being of modest nobility, fled to Gralton, from the tumult in Galt, after another one of the changes in government, wherein one of theirs lost their head, and an angry mob called for that entire family's execution for good measure.
What wealth they still had, was used to rebuild their stature and prominence.

Her father, then still 'young master' Charles von Reegan, made wealth having financial investments in several local businesses, and made quite the name for himself.
Before his arranged marriage, which may well have been more one for prestige and financial advancement, and of which he was well aware was going to happen, he had a short affair with Claudia's mother, Ingrid Myhr, daughter of an ulfen merchant with a known wanderlust, having seen many landscapes in his travels.
The imminent marriage was unknown to her, and when her family heard she maybe found a potential husband, they decided to stay.

Said potential husband had used a false name, knowing he'd be married within half a year, and couldn't leave clear tracks when he would break with Ingrid.
He disappeared shortly before the marriage, leaving Claudia's birth solely in the hands of the Myhr family.

Skip forward 3 years: Claudia's grandfather, while tolerating the child, always treated her sternly, deeming her a tarnish upon his family's honor. A bastard child.
Ingrid's parents, not the youngest, both passed away from illness later that year. She herself not too talented being a merchant, instead more martially inclined, she took to the task of finding Charles.
It took some time, a year, and then one evening, young master Charles opened the door to his old flame. Obviously at a loss for words, she confronted him with his actions and responsibilities.

As a bastard child would greatly damage his reputation and standing, what followed ended up in an arrangement.
Ingrid and her daughter would live in with Charles and his family, under the pretense of being a distant relative's wife and child, in need of help. Due to a particular hue in Claudia's eyes, hereditary to the Von Reegan family, this was acceptable a cover.
However, Charles' parents and own family found out the truth sooner than expected, and with the Von Reegan family treated her with indifference at best. Save for her half siblings, whom she did get a good bond with. Mark, her half brother, was an enthusiast of dragons and arcane lore. For her 15th birthday, he took her to a vendor of exotic creatures, where the two of them purchased each an egg that contained a pseudodragon.
She named hers Sathyssil, and while it knows Claudia is not her mother, they are loyal friends.
Her half sister, Patrice, was more of a socializer. She spent time with both to pick up some shared skills and interests.

Ingrid found employ with the local guard, over the years becoming one of their combat instructors. From her mother, Claudia was instructed in two weapons of the ulfen people, something everyone in the Myhr family were to learn, for the sake of self protection on their travels.
The longsword, and the bow. Claudia seemed to develop a preference to the bow, and her mother challenged her daughter to make a special one for herself. Something that was unique to her alone.
Unique, or at least highly unusual. The young woman could make quality bows from wood, but that was not sufficient for her. Seeking inspiration, she strolled the markets, eventually coming across a large stall that sold exotic and unusual materials. Liquid glass was the most unusual, and the salesman praised it for its special qualities.
But the price was too high for her budget. No way she could afford it....but her father could. She had never liked the situation of social unequality in the household, but she couldn't hate her father, despite his shortcomings, he took 'some' responsibility for his action.
Still, it would be the one big favor she would ask of him, and none further. Explaining the situation, her father eventually agreed. While he was adamant to keep up appearances, she was still his child.

The liquid glass obtained, it took her a few months to complete the bow, working a few days very week. One finely decorated with runes of ulfen design, sturdy and flexible. She felt it needed a name, but she hadn't found one. Figured it would come in time.
Early next year, rumors of an expedition trickled in. It piqued her curiosity. While she had work and a home, it didn't feel like a true home, and she wanted to make a better situation for herself.
The more information came through, the more the need to leave that household, make for a new start. She convinced her mother, it took a couple of times, to come along.
The night prior to departure, goodbyes were said, and somewhere she noticed some hint of relief in her father's eyes.
When morning came, Claudia had filled in some paperwork, signed at the bottom with [Claudia Von Reegan], in the least rightfully claiming beig part of that family.

Before she pulled shut the door behind her for the final time, she stepped back towards Charles, and quietly whispered... "Goodbye....dad."
And onwards the two went, with Claudia having hopes of making a name for herself.

Appearance:

Claudia is fairly tall for a woman, standing just under 6ft.
In her face, she resembles some features of her father, but the clear blue eyes and auburn red hair she takes from her ulfen mother.

She wears a dark red long coat, with a similar colored mantle.
Knee high brown leather boots for travels.

Peculiar is her bow, which takes a icy blue coloration in parts of the weapon. Runes are carved alongside the middle parts. Almost as if it was made of flexible crystal.

Personality:

Claudia loves animals, and is in general well mannered.
Something she doesn't like, though, is when people don't owe up to their mistakes, and try blaming another, or pushing consequences onto another.

Her skills lie with raising animals and in the craft of a bowyer, the latter of which is also a way for her to ease her mind.

She is firm friends with Sathyssil, a pseudodragon she 'raised' since it hatched. 'Raised' in a more family manner, as pseudodragons are just as intelligent as people.
