background:

Cirnos Duval grew up to a small Taldan noble house to the dreams of one day being a white knight in shining armor that was beloved by all the people. That dream was soon shattered as the Taldan knighthood was more oft to spend their time arguing over meaningless titles rather than doing valorous deeds. It was a chance meeting with a young bard by the name of Caydor that set him on his path.

Caydor was a spinner of tales, a singer of songs, but never one to hold onto his coin. And as such there was a bond made, a young knight with money to lose, and a bard to tell him how to spend it. At first it was spent on things any famous knight should own, stylized armour, a new pommel for the sword, a plume to go in the helm. Eventually Cirnos's funds were being spent on frivolous items and during one of their drinking/shopping bouts he brought this to Caydor's attention.

They had an arguement, exchanged words and blows, soon separated by the tavern goers and city guard. As they were being drug away Caydor crossed that line, by insulting Cirnos's pride. "You'll never amount to nothing, you foolish fop of a knight!" Caydor taunted, safe behind the muscles of the watch.

Oh did Cirnos's eyes smoulder with anger, and unleashed a fiery retort upon Caydor. Mainly by immortalizing him in a blaze of glory... well at least a blaze; taking his house, and the surrounding buildings along with him for his funeral pyre. Needless to say this action brought Cirnos to the fore of the local law's attention and soon had him shackled for his crime. And so he has sat, rotting away in some dark hole, waiting to leave his mark on the world again.

Personality:

A very prideful person, Cirnos is never one to let his deeds go unnoticed (nor unpaid!). While he gives others recognition for their deeds, he always tries to input his effort. His polarized views are quick to be voiced with his Taldan accent.

Appearance:

Standing close to six feet tall, his once shining raven hair is now damp and coated in grunge; no longer short and ordered it now shrouds his shoulders. Pale skin languishes on his form and an unkempt beard has taken up residence upon his chin.
