I placed this order last week when I saw the sale going on for some older items. The Order list that shows in my order history is accurate for what I ordered (I won't repeat it here). However, I received the bulk of the order today in the mail and there is a discrepancy in the packing slip and the contents of the package:
The slip shows these items shipped: Morningstar Campaign Setting (IMPGMG4100), Pathfinder Chronicles: Gazetteer (PZO1105), Pathfinder Chronicles: Guide to Korvosa (PZO1106), Pathfinder Chronicles: Rise of the Runelords Map Folio (PZO3003), Pathfinder Module D1.5: Revenge of the Kobold King (PZO9500-2), Dungeons & Dragons: Player's Handbook Hardcover Special Edition (WOC17923).
But, the actual contents included everything except the Morningstar Campagin Setting, and included the Pathfinder Chronicles: Campaign Setting.
Now, to add to the confusion, in the same order I also ordered a subscription to Pathfinder Chronicles and Pathfinder Companion. For the Chronicles subscription, I requested to start with the current issue which happens to be the Campaign Setting Hardcover.
So I do want that book, but I am missing the Morningstar Campaign Setting. I also investigated on my account and saw that my sidebin currently holds the Campaign Setting to be shipped on the next month shipping cycle.
So...I guess I just want to make sure that I don't receive two copies of the Pathfinder Chronicles: Campaign Setting and have the Morningstar Campagin Setting sent to me. I can wait to have the Morningstar sent to me in the next month cycle, if that works.
Thanks for your great service!
This may not need immediate attention, but I did want to touch base with someone again regarding the shipment of the Pathfinder issues with the GameMastery Modules.
I posted a thread a week or so ago regarding my order 861598. Czarina Corey responded confirming that the shipments would be combined. I believe she said that the E1 module was waiting for Pathfinder #5 and the J2 Module, elluding that the three items would ship together. However, I received the E1 and J2 modules shortly thereafter. (Order#863299: shipped on 12/28, received 12/29)
Now, I am not complaining about the delivery at all...I understand that Pathfinder #5 will probably ship separately due to this little error, and that's OK. I just want to make sure that future months (Feb 08 forward) will see the Pathfinder and GM Module combined to help with the shipping costs. Thanks.

Wow. I haven't had to make this many inquires about pending orders with you guys, like ever...
Anyway, it is probably all my fault for ordering a bunch of stuff in separate orders, but I had differing methods of payments for them. For this particular order, I am using a gift card that was given to me. The status is showing that you have received an "insufficient funds" communication from the card company. However, I have inquired with them about issues with the account--it seems that you guys have made two requests for funds on the same account. I do not know what the issue is, but my order amount was approved by the card company and you should have received authorization from them for that amount. A second request by you guys has been made on this gift card, but it is not for the amount on the order in question. Nor have I used this gift card for any other purchases. Period.
Please investigate on your end and let me know what the problems are. I do not want to just resubmit the information on the gift card, because you should already have the authorization from the gift card company. Thanks for your service.
It seems that my recent subscription to the GameMastery Modules is ready to be shipped to me, including both the J1 and E1 modules in one shipment. However, I received an Email saying that my payment method was rejected, due to an expired card. This seems unlikely as the expiration date I submitted to you with the card number was 2011, and that was what still showed on the order history.
I have investigated on my end through my credit card company and there are no problems with my account. All should be fine. So I went ahead and re-entered my credit card information as payment. It should be approved. If not, please notify me again. I will try to stay on top of this throughout the day. Thanks.

I know this is a really bad time of the season to be asking for some help with an order. However, I want to make sure that I didn't miss out on this: I just placed an order for a variety of things, among which was a Pre-order for the GameMastery Treasure Chest product. When I submitted my order, confirming payment and such, the order details came up stating that the Treasure Chest was "Cancelled December 2007." What does this mean? Did I miss out on getting a pre-order in for the item? Or is this how the system is handling the pre-order situation? Please alleviate my fears concerning this order.
Also, a side question about combinations of subscriptions: I also placed an ongoing subscription to the GameMastery Modules in this order. I selected that I would like to have orders held to ship once a month to save on Shipping costs. That way my Pathfinder and Modules will come together instead of separately. Can you please confirm that I have done that correctly on my account and that is what will take place in January?
As always, thanks for your services to the gaming community.
I've been intrigued by these products and been loving the talk I read about on the threads about the item cards. But upon looking into ordering some, I found that they are "currently unavailable." For such a realitively new product, I am a little confused. Should I expect them to be re-stocked any time soon, or should I try searching other merchants for this product? Please advise.
BTW: You all ROCK! I love this company. Don't let the impatient dampen your spirits this holiday season. You provide a superior product at competitive rates, with the convience of subscriptions (even for accessory items!), all with the D&D/GM customer in mind! Those that wish to express negative feelings in your direction about shipping delays or item backorders need to get a grip on reality. I'll buy from you over any vendor anyday. (And I know there are many out there in that would agree with me wholeheartedly.) Keep up the great work!
I don't know if I am posting this question in the right place, but...
I have really enjoyed using the supplement downloads for Dungeon Mags #139, 140, 141, 142, and 143. Even though I have just started the STAP, I would like to keep using the supplements. Are there any plans to keep issuing the supplements for Dungeon #144 and beyond?
I know how busy you guys and gals are putting together an incredible product! Keep up the exceptional work!

I have had the great pleasure of perusing the threads and receiving an immense amount of advice from contributors both experienced and wise in the ways of DMing and the intricacies of the game. After reading the posts from such DMs as Steve Greer (whose campaign journal for STAP has inspired me to try that next), Heathansson, Fake Healer, Fatespinner, Valegrim (whose whit is matched only by his wisdom), Lawgiver (who no doubt has much more to contribute than the few eye-opening posts I've seen), Erian_7, Moff Rimmer, and Timault Azal-Darkwarren, I believe I have found a place for all of the adive and information I could ever want and will ever need.
That being said, my inquiry may seem very trite compared to the others being made here. However, I am confident that you all will not let me down.
I am very new to the DMing scene, and have spent a lot of time reading up on the rules, adventures, and ancillary materials. I have spent considerable time searching the web (and these threads) for more information, any information on how to DM, how to be a good DM, things to avoid, etc. I believe I have the basics down and have run a few sessions since taking up my new role as story-teller. But I feel that I am lacking in some of the organizational and mechanical aspects of the game.
Specifically, what I am looking for is any help you may have to offer on how you actually "run" a gaming session. How do you mechanically handle a combat encounter? Do you make all the "DM" rolls in secret? When and what do you decide to roll in the open? When do you make the rolls for the PCs? How do you handle the sequence of battle and keep track of everything? How do you organize your notes, quotes, read-alouds, and maps? Do you give PCs a map of the dungeon or specific encounter area from the get-go, or do you make them keep their own map based on descriptions and only bring out a battle grid for the battle encounters?
I humbly apologize for the simplistic nature of my inquiry. I just want to be the best, and the best way to be the best is to learn from the best. Thus I sit down at the feet of wisdom, to be enlightened...
