"Quite a lot, actually. There was another ship already there, filled with ghosts and videos of lover's trysts. Then we found a beacon and got the information off of it before chasing off a corpse fleet ship that had come for the dead ship. I got to hit things and shoot a plasma cannon, taking HUGE chunks out of that Eoxian ship before they turned tail. It was glorious!"
"Come to papa! Don't think you can challenge Chivix Vellero and his crew without consequence!" As he slid sideways in the gunner's chair, Chivix called out, "Hey, Jack, buddy, mind not trying to throw me across the deck every time I line up a shot? This will go a lot easier if you let me kill him before you run us into an asteroid!" plasma cannon: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Chivix sat down at the controls to the forward weaponry and familiarized himself with them. When the enemy ship declared their intent to attack, Chivix lined them up in the crosshairs and pulled the trigger, only to be thrown sideways as Jac slewed the ship around in evasive maneuvers. plaasma cannon: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Chivix set his feet and lashed out again with his fist, this time connecting with a hard blow. "Hah! You thought I'd be offput by the ice, but little did you know I used to go glacier hiking at the poles of Castrovel when I was a pup!" vs EAC: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
When the fog cleared, Chivix had his first good look at the creatures they were fighting...and they didn't look pretty. Keeping his shield up, the vanguard struck at the one before him with a mighty uppercut enhanced by his entropic strike. But, his boot slipped on the icy rocks, and instead of the powerful uppercut, he slid to one knee, torquing his back in a painful way. attack vs EAC: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
Chivix moved blindly through the fog, homing in on his companions' positions more than anything else. As soon as he felt he was next to the enemy, he angled his shield. Move into melee, soaking eh aoo, then angling shield towards enemy. current status: EAC:25+2 KAC:27+2 SP:94/112 HP:60/60 RP:10/10 Entropy Points:1
"Beacon, what beacon? We didn't hear an emergency beacon when we came in, did we? Did they screw with Rasheen's trail beacon? If they've thrown us off our pursuit, I'm gonna be really angry!" Have we scoured the entire ship now? culture: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 "Is one of the crew the person we saw in the 'illicit' meetup video? It would make sense if this ship belongs to the Xinya family. right?"
Chivix poked his head into the central quarters and decided this looked like Officer Country. Nicer furnishing and decor, anyways. He pointed out the artistic map rendition. "We're definitely following in someone's footsteps here." perception central quarters: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27 Going to Engineering, he was about to open the door when Sefel stopped him. CHivix stared around at the port crew quarters, admiring the great party that occurred here. perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 When they arrived at the other rooms, he checked around there as well. "Books! Well, I guess we know where the fun crew lives, and where the rest hang out. Of course, the blood on the floor there says a slightly different story." Chivix looked more closely around the room, especially at the swords, for other signs of blood or violence, or anything really. perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
"That's right, ghostie! Chivix has you right where he wants you!" Chivix lashed out again, taunting the ghost and trying to keep it off his companions. He kept that shield up, this time covering Bluuu as much as possible. Swing at ghost, then angle shield to add +2 to AC. Going to use Bodyguard this turn for Bluuuu if he its hit. That gives them +2 bonus to AC, and lowers mine by same. attack vs eac: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

Chivix hauled off and smacked the creature again with his entropic strike, noting that the energy damage was hurting the creature, but only partially. That's okay. A partial blow from Chivix was still painful, he was certain. He angled his shield directly at the ghost, trying to protect Don as he did. Swing at ghost, then angle shield to add +2. Chivix charged down the hallway, angling his shield into the...ghost? He concentrated just a moment until he could feel a buzzing around his left hand, then thrust it at the spirit. His entropic field met the incorporeal form and he felt a slight resistance. attack vs eac: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

There was a commotion at the door and a bulky lashunta staggered in, panting slightly as he tried to catch his breath. He was big for a lashunta, with the kind of bulk that signified a heavy exercise regimen and an even heavier drinking and eating one. "Sorry I'm late. Been...um...exercising. What'd I miss?" The exercise was likely peeling his eyelids off his sore eyeballs, for the lashunta had all the classic signs of a really nasty hangover. "Name's Chivix Velloro, by the way. Cool map."
Vanguard it is then! I'll hop into the gameplay and post up! As for ship, my vote is the Crypt Warden, followed by the Pegasus Starship role: Gunner +12 Character to apply credit to: Chronicle: 19
