Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
![]() Hearing splintering wood and cursing, Chardak tuns away from the ladder and hurries to Nesteruk's side. Judging from the quality of the new foes' equipment, Chardak prays for Gorum's aid. Swift action -- judgement +1 to hit for this combat. If I have actions enough to attack after moving, then ... Greatsword 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 23 ... damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 4) + 3 = 12 ![]()
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
![]() Looks like Nesteruk, Chardak and Grinby yet to act this round. Chardak climbs the ladder and sprints across the roof toward the archer while he raises his sword for a crushing blow. Greatsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 ... damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 6) + 3 = 11 Of course he may not have enough movement to actually make it, depending on his movement rate up the ladder. ![]()
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
![]() After the arrow strikes, Chardak looks up and gnashes his teeth at the archer. Then he circles the barn looking for a way up. Finding the ladder, he starts to climb. Movement will probably eat all his actions this turn. Not sure how far up the ladder he gets. ****

![]() Chardak breaks out of the cover of the fog and charges around the left side of the barn. As he goes he drops his spear and shakes his greatsword clear of its wrapping. He pulls open the door and looks inside. Move to E5 and open the door. AWOL again. The usual sources. (On the plus side how many people get to hang out inside the combustion chamber of a big gas turbine engine.) I am sorry . ![]()
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
![]() Under the cover of the fog, Chardak bends his shortbow and tightens the string. "Are we going to shoot them from here or get close and kill them?" Nice spell. Do we want to close under covering fire and storm the barn, exchange ranged fire, or split the party to try both? Dex down 2. ![]()
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
![]() Chardak grimaces with pain from the bite and poison as he tries to shake the dead centipede off his spear. The huge insect is stuck fast. He drops the spear, staggers ahead then wheels, sweeping the sword from his back and down toward the remaining centipede in one motion. 5' step to E4. Greatsword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 ... damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2) + 3 = 6 ![]()

Thinking back, Jondar got the MW breastplate, but it looks like Caraldur never updated the character sheet to include it. So that would be among loot we took from his dead body. Chardak would definitely be interested, but he's got the lion's share of loot so far. In the interest of fairness, AZ, Alex, would Anna or Nesteruk want that armor? And just to make sure, Anna's got the wand of CLW ? ![]()

![]() At the sight of so many weapons on the two newcomers, Chardak's smile (or snarl) widens. "So you fight for the favor of the Lord in Iron too? You are brave to approach four strangers in the border lands." His posture doesn't change, nor does he take a step forward. His eyes slide questioningly toward Ronigan. When the man doesn't reply immediately, they slip on toward the second halforc, and then the half-elven woman. ![]()

![]() mid-stream entrances are often awkward. Welcome aboard, both of you. Chardak looks up from the two bodies on the ground and stands quickly. He lets his spear dangle from his left hand while he glances at the newcomers, then over at Ronigan, and back to the new comers. The halforc is big, topping six feet and 200 pounds and dressed in heavy scale mail. Weapons festoon his body. There's a two handed sword and shortbow slung over his right shoulder. A light mace and dagger hang at his belt. A short sword is tied to his pack. His slightly underslung jaw slides forward and down in revealing smiling (or snarling) broad yellow teeth. "Stop there." He keeps his eyes on the gnome and ranger while he addresses the man beside him. "Ronigan, are these your bandits?" ![]()

![]() Know (nature) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Does the ditch surround the plant? How deep is it? Is the ditch an obstacle to forward progress. "Plant? Who cares? Wasn't it here before? We're here to battle the thieves that attacked you. Let's find 'em and avenge you. We can look at plants later." ![]()

![]() Chardak places his foot on the dog's neck and levers the butt end of his spear upward. Then he wrenches it out of the canine's ribcage. "Stupid dogs." He kicks the carcass, then looks at the rest of the group. Hooray for spear bracing! I've done it only a handful of times over the years. Gratifying to score a crit on that roll. ![]()
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
![]() Chardak judges the distance. If he throws his spear, he'll never get his sword clear before the dog is on him. He crouches low, grounds the butt of his spear and waits for the dog to spit itself. "Nice doggy." Ready action to brace spear against oncoming dogs. Braced Spear: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 ... damage 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 6) + 3 = 12 OOOO, critical? 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 ... damage 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 3 = 8 ![]()

![]() Lyle's up, but I'm leaving for the weekend Friday, so I'll post now. Chardak looks at the crowd helping Lyle and at Nesteruk's solitary struggle. He rushes to help his half-orc cousin. move to G6 He tries to grab the overgrown insect with his hands and rip it away from Nesteruk. Grapple action. I want to try to pull the stirge off Nesteruk. ![]() Chardak after cutting the pie into slices, Chardak eats it by levering the wedges away with his knife , then holding them in his hands. He doesn't worry about the filling dripping on the table or floor, but is careful to hold the slices away from his body lest they drip on his armor. ![]()

![]() Eager to be on bandit's trail, Chardak wakes early and pays the tab and throws in a handful of silver. "Good food. We'll come again." The party finds him sitting in front of the inn running a small stone over his arrow-tips to hone them. Reupped his hitpoints to full, assuming Jondar threw some healing his way at te end of the previous day. OK? ![]()
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
![]() "Good. We will find and beat these bandits. When we return the mayor will welcome you more than before. Tonight we feast." Chardak drags the table where we were splitting the loot over to Ronigan's. Then he drags over two chairs. (He more or less just expects everyone to follow his lead.) Calling to the waitress, he orders whatever they have hot and a mug of buttermilk.
