About Cassilda Tillinghast
Cassilda Tillinghast is a young Korvosan woman of mixed Chelaxian and Varisian descent. She is tall for a woman, slender and athletic, with large hazel eyes and fire-red hair that make her more striking than pretty.
Cassilda spent her early life traveling with her mother's wanderer family through the wilds of Varisia. Soon after she entered puberty, attacks by orc raiders, followed by plague in Korvosa, claimed enough of her extended family that the survivors were forced to settle in a city for safety.
She became an adventurer out of necessity, using her knowledge of swordplay (from her ex-soldier father) and the occult (from her fortune-teller mother) to make ends meet, and to protect the other poor folk in her new home. Joining the Pathfinder Society has dramatically expanded her horizons, and given her the means to better support and improve herself.
