I wore shorts yesterday, it was wonderful.

I think I might do the same today.

It's starting to feel an awful lot like spring! It's up to 7 degrees!! And it's not even noon yet!

Weekends lose all meaning in winter.

I can't wait for spring.

Dances in the tulips of his mind.

Take that winter!

All of life's possibilities are supposed to be opening up before me.

Instead I'm left with an endless expanse of cold snow, lifeless brown dirt, and cows.

I would sell you all for three days of 60 degrees in a row.

Yes, you're stealing my spring thunder!

Not really enthused about working tonight, I'm not sure why...

I just saw the first Crocus of spring!

I already sent a picture to Freehold.

I'm walking to the store, I don't feel cold or anything.

I could get used to this.

Second sign of spring!

All the ice rinks and lagoons closed for the season yesterday!!

First sign of spring!!

The Marco Polo birds are singing!!!

I prefer not to acknowledge when I'm sick.

The germs mustn't win.

Edit: I feel just dandy, so this streak is purely for my entertainment.

Skips about, tossing daisies gaily on the ground.

72 degrees and mostly sunny today!

Just hook it to my vein!!!!

After Tiny T-Rex missed nearly two weeks of school with pneumonia I'm not sure I'm ready for school to end next week.

There's still so much I want to do!

I woke up before the Farmer's market today (at 5:43 a.m. for our European brethren).

All I want to do is work on the garden. But it's supposed to rain for four days straight starting tomorrow, so there's no point in tilling the soil if the rain will just settle it anyway.

glares at the weather forecast.

What do you expect, it's spring yo!

Totally!

But with two kids and 70+ degrees this weekend, I'll take the time saved. :-)

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!!!!!

Blasts across the sky on a flower powered rocket bike, spreading joy across the globe.

The crossing guard at school I think is getting tired of my boundless optimism that spring is nearly upon us. :-)

Told her this morning "hopefully that's the last snow storm of the year!"

She said back (slightly testy) "you said that last time"

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Yay! Spring is back for two days! 48 degrees today, 55 tomorrow!

Then it's back to winter for three days with highs in the low thirties and 4-8 inches (of snow).

Pours a forty on the curb in remembrance of the sixty degree weather.

Goodbye old friend, I'll see you again in a few weeks. But at least we'll always have that one magical week in February.

I guess so, if it scared everyone off.

Me, I've seen so many squirrels the last couple of day, I don't know which ones to ex- squirrel!?!- claim at!

I was prepared for the return to the mid twenty degrees, but I wasn't ready for it.

Spring cleaning.

Wow! A lot to do...

Interesting. I had no idea a bookcase could lean at such an angle without collapsing.

A smarter person might leave that alone.

Alas, I'm not that smarter person...

I could go all Shiny, Happy People walking the dog.

The sun is out, anything can happen.

Now, that's weird, it seems the sun is turning the glacier into some sort of... moisture.

And it seems almost... warm? Outside?

Are... Are those living things tweeting in the trees...

Peas and corn definitely coming up, the moles didn't eat the corn as I had feared when I saw it's little tunnels criss crossing the row of corn. Might lose another melon plant as the dog steps on it because I stupidly planted it where the rabbits come through the fence. Or as we call it during the day The Bunny Highway. At night it takes a darker turn as the owl turns out yard into a killing field. Also we have a Muskrat in the field, saw it trying to climb the fence. A big one too.

I love spring!!

sounds like a lot of commotion. Winter sounds much calmer.

I like a commotion, winter sounds boring.

Thunderstorm rolling in!!!
