Burik grew up along the Sword Coast. He was inducted into the priesthood of Moradin by one of the few shield dwarves in the area. His training included formal forge work, training in the arts of the priesthood, and a sense of protection for all dwarvenkind and their true allies. His training has brought him into conflicts with several other power groups in the area, and he was forced to flee, even when he was found to be protecting the townsfolk themselves. He believes that his strict adherence to the faith of Moradin will be his saving grace. He believes hiimself a staunch ally, and is currently wandering, hoping to find some allies to help him root out and destroy any threats to the dwarves or their allies, as well as to cure the poor, stricken priest who banished him.
