Excellent news!
At some point will we see them compiled into a single tome like the original Mindblast! book?

The Sharknado was my favorite! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!

My print copy came in the mail today. Fantastic book! I hope you do a sequel! Can't wait to use this in my Campaign!!!

Thanks for listing these! There were some I had not heard of, off to place an order!

Don't want to sound like a jerk or such, but... do you mind if I wait until you release some sort of compendium instead of buying each separately?

I dunno, but I think that after 10 or 12 races, you can easily bundle them into a single book.

JiCi I had asked this before and was told there were no plans to release the series as a compilation. I too would love to have these all in one book.

Will these all be compiled into a single product at some point?

This really does sound cool. So it will be a series of releases? Or am I misreading your posts?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I'm even including monotremes. :)

Cool so I can make up a Platypus Barbarian?

Count me as interested!

Very Interesting!

Got the print version of this. Very interesting city. Glad I picked it up.

I've picked up this book now, so I'll try punching something out.

-Ben.

Looking forward to hearing your take on the complete product. I'm tempted to pick this up, particularly with the Tech Guide coming out this summer!

This looks pretty cool. I may just have to pick this up!

Any reviews for this one?

I picked up the color print edition of this, I like it, adds some cool stuff to my Pathfinder games.

I'm definitely interested in this. I'm looking forward to learning more about it. For instance, will Pathfinder Core Classes and Spells be readily interchangeable with Fall of Man?

Glad you are liking it! More gypsy magic of Zobeck and Midgard is likely coming in the Fall.

Awesome! I'm late to the whole Zobeck/Midgard party, but I really like what I've seen so far. I will be starting up a Campaign beginning in Zobeck very soon. Where can I find PC stats for Gearforged?

Thanks again!

I just picked this up and am really liking it, I seem to be overlooking the Gypsy Magic referred to on the back cover??

Thanks!

Never mind found it! : )

I'd be interested in a color print version of this as well!!

Less than that now. I take it no one has gotten a copy yet?

Gareth-Michael Skarka wrote:

Not necessarily. I can make the change, if I feel the change is worth making.

So please, sound off in this thread (If it was any other thread software, I could post a poll, but alas....).

Do you prefer the earlier cover? Or the new design?

I've been following this product closely and am a big fan of P.A. Games.

While I wasn't 100% sold on the original cover, I feel it does capture the setting better than the second one. Don't get me wrong the second one is cool, I just see it as being more suitable for interior art or on the back cover of the book.
Thanks for asking!

Yes, we were trying our best for May, but the realities of the workload dictated that it will be June.

Unfortunately, this will mean that we won't have copies at the booth we're sharing with Cubicle Seven at Origins at the end of the month (since the main stock won't be at the warehouse in time) -- but Pre-Order Customers will have their PDFs by then.

Here's another preview, though: The new cover by Rick Hershey!

Thanks for the update. Here's hoping for the PDF this month!

I would like an updated release date on this please. My Pathfinder group is ready for a change and this would shake things up nicely. Is it gonna be much longer on a release?
Thanks!

Very cool! Looking forward to this, glad I preordered!

Just ordered the print version of this! Thanks for making it available in print format!

I'm just old school and prefer my books to be in hand. I hope this book will be in Dead Tree format soon.
The 4e version is in print as is several other of their books. I imagine the PFRPG version will be in print soon.

Hello Dark Mistress, guess I should have clarified earlier... I meant if the Pathfinder version were in print I'd be ordering it right now. : ) I ordered the print version of Creepy Creatures: Bestiary of the Bizarre to tide me over in the meantime.

Thanks,
Bill

Virago

Google is your friend. :)
My favorite Viragos are still those tall leggy Danuvians from Talislanta.

Definately! I remember the Danuvians!

Since this seems to be back on track, I went ahead and pre-ordered.
: )

I'm waiting for the print version to be made available. Anyone care to post any beasties you've worked up?

Cool! Is there an ETA on when the print version will be available?

Good to hear that this is still on track. I've been very tempted to order it. Was there ever a Table of Contents or any previews posted?
Sample art other than the cover?

There have not been any previews -- which I will remedy right now.

Here's a look at a player-character race from WOTA:

Glad to hear this is out. I picked up the original version, but definately want this in print, sounds like you've added quite a bit to it. I was hoping to use it with the forthcoming Warlords of the Apocalypse to create some "Mutant" Animal races.

Hi Walt!

A few questions if you don't mind ...

1) Any idea on how many new classes we might see? Any spoilers as to which ones?
2) Will there be a Bestiary? Is it in the main book or a separate book?

Really looking forward to this :)

Ditto what Sketchpad said!

Walt will mutations be handled like in earlier editions of Gamma World?
In what way do you mean?

I'm a big fan of Gamma World from way back and very much like Gamma World's "take" on mutations. GW has historically had many random tables of mutations to roll against, even allowing for some defects to occur. I was just curious how this book will handle mutations since they seem to be a big part of the book.

Thank Goodness!!!!

I agree MerrikCale, while I love Mad Max, I'd much prefer a Pathfinder rules system that allows me to run a Science Fantasy Campaign!

Walt will mutations be handled like in earlier editions of Gamma World?

Hey all,

I'm the Lead Designer for WotA, so I'll try to answer questions as best I can. Understand that we're still pulling this together, so any answers I give are subject to change as we tighten things up.

Brutorz Bill wrote:

Ookla rocks! Will we possibly see a "Mok" equivalent race??

We're still discussing what we want to include as "standard" races. We'll probably end up with 3-5 races, not including human (which is detailed in PF). All races can also be used with mutations.

Hey Walt,

Thanks for chiming in!
So will this allow me to run a Thundarr type campaign using the Pathfinder system?
Regarding races I'd definately want to see a big hairy muscle type race, if not exactly a "Mok" (which I know you can't do for copyright reasons) at least a good stand in.
Any other tidbits you can provide are appreciated.
Thanks

Getting back into the swing after GenCon-- we will have updates and teasers for you soon.

Quick responses:

1) Much more Thundarr than Mad Max. I loves me some Ookla the Mok.

2) Corsair will be released by the end of this month.

3) Not Poser -- the female figure was modeled in Silo, and rendered in 3D Studio Max. Tweaked in Photoshop and a few others.

Excellent! I was hoping this would be more Thundarr than Mad Max!

To early to tell. I am still waiting to hear back from the product I sent to them over a month ago. But have no fear, THERE WILL BE A PRINT VERSION!

Ordered my print copy. Looking forward to getting this!

I might also do a conversion of my Scarrport book for Pathfinder.

Is there any news about this? I really like Scarrport, but prefer Pathfinder over 4E.

I've seen a Simian Race write-up posted over on RPGNow for free recently. This might help you.
