Has anyone compared these two classes.
Ignoring the social half of the vigilante, because I don't see it being used in many adventures, it seems like the Alchemist has it all over the Warlock.

The Alchemist starts with light armor and bombs without having to need any discoveries.
If the dev team needs a measuring stick to bring the Warlock to a better place, maybe they should start comparing the two. Personally I think if they're going to keep spell casting progression as a purchased ability, then they should be at least able to cast in medium armor without spell failure for free.

And make the whole social part of the vigilante an overlay for all characters (players) playing in a specific adventure path.

Right now we're comparing apples and oranges when looking at the Vigilante compared to any other class. If the "social" part of a Vigilante is added into the consideration for overall power of the Vigilante class, then this class is going to fail. It is a mechanic that no other class has, even in as passing compatibility. I realize there are some classes that don't fit well in some adventures (Druid in a city adventure), but most of those classes have archetypes that help with that. Do we need an archetype that gives this functionality to all the other classes out there, or do we need an archetype that takes the "social" mechanic away from the Vigilante?
The answer is to just make it an overlay for ALL classes playing in a given adventure path, especially since not all adventures work well with this mechanic.
I do like the mechanic myself, but I don't think it belongs in one class by itself. It just muddies up the overall concideration of power level and causes the dev team to over hamper the spell casters of this class.
Just my 2cents.

Hey all,

I just picked up a copy of the Condition Cards and in my pack there was an extra card that had a spell on it. I know that many years ago (i think it was TSR) there were spell cards and there are pdf printables for spell cards, but will Paizo/GameMastery create spell cards?
I would like some nicely printed playing card type cards with all the spells on them with supplements for new spells released.

If there is such a thing could someone help the searchably challenged (couldn't find anything in the search except for the pdf kind)?

I realize that races out of the Bestiary are not legal, but it seems all of the races in the new bestiary 2 seem to be very balanced.

So, will the races in the Bestiary 2 become legal for play in Pathfinder Society?

Thanks in advance for the reply.

I created this more for my own amusement and as a class that I would be interested in playing. This is only for personal use, please to not publish.

I don't seem to be able to post the full class with tables on this thread, so HERE is the link to the google doc. If you have problems viewing it, let me know. Also if you don't like the class or you think there is something wrong or it's too overpowered or underpowered, let me know. Or if you just want to say thanks, that's nice too. ;-) Or you just want to say you hate the idea, that's not so nice, but I'm glad to have the feedback.

Let me know if you would include such a class in your campaign.
Thanks for your support ahead of time.

I did a search and found one person trying to use a mathematical equation to determine what happens when the alchemist misses with one of their bombs and they have "precise bombs". Which squares are affected/unaffected?

Has there been an official ruling?

The way I see it is that the bomb is magical, so it should operate the same as a cleric's channel ability. The alchemist excludes the squares by saying, "my magic will not affect here". Not through a spin they put on the bomb or by some angling trick (which seems funny considering the volatile and unpredictable nature of a bomb).

If anyone official could answer this, that would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

I'm probably alone in this, but I don't think the oracle class lives up to its name.
I'm not a history buff, so I could be wrong, but when I think of oracles I think of people who can see what others cannot. They're noncombatants (like the wizard) and gifted with vision (not to be confused with sight) and perhaps spell heavy (and by that I mean spell casters).
This class didn't do it for me.

Though I can see that the combat capabilities of the class are not high, to me the class should be more of a spell caster, perhaps a cleric version of the wizard or sorcerer and to do that it would need far more spells and less armor. Perhaps the class should have more visual abilities like see invisible or some kind of permanent detect magic (osirons already do something like that). The curses I have to say are nice and spot on for the flavour of the Oracle, but overall I have to say the class doesn't follow its name sake.

The only think I can offer without making a big change to the class is to change the name, but that's just my humble opinion.

In the "Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play" (v2.01) it states that a player can always buy magical +1 armor or weapons.

Does this include Bracers of Armor +1? If so, what is the cost? There is no listing for bracers in the Armor section (because they don't give any bonus to AC normally) so there must be no cost for master work?
So I'm guessing that it's only 1000gp since that's the list cost and it's assumed that all magic items are Master Work?
