Bradley grew up in logging community of Berth, just southwest of the City of Hochoch, on the Edge of the Oytwood. It was a pretty humble existence for his family and community, till a mage of Kaneth decided to immigrate to the just outside the town and establish his own tower.

Soon the town was heavily employed in the construction of the tower. After the construction trade rose as adventures came through looking for employment from the mage, and would be apprentices also came looking to learn from this "Mighty Sage". Most of townsfolk just call the mage Bob.

Anyway, Bradley joined his father and brothers in the construction opportunity. Was able to make a nice fortune, for such a young lad. But being young, he didn't want to waste his time in such humble circumstances.

One day, Bradley ran into a man looking to retire in this slowly growing town. This man was a Ranger. He had gotten on in years and thought it best settle down, with his friend Bob. Bradley found out about this and would squeeze him for every little story he could. The Ranger didn't mind; but when Bradley asked how he could become a ranger, the Ranger saw he just didn't have the wits for it.

But Bradley was STRONG. So the Ranger taught him swordplay. Bradley was a eager learner. Bradley found his calling. With what he had, Bradley decided it was time to head off and find adventure.
