Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy lets out a lengthy sigh, and with great reluctance moves to follow the others outside "Fine, but if they start crowdin me I ain't gonna be responsible if sumone ends up stabbed..."

The young man sets out trying to keep away from any large groups as Marianne suggested he sets out to talk with some of the village ladies generally village wives love to gossip so maybe they could tell him something interesting, if not it could be interesting anyway.

Picking out a small group of women he decides to try his luck."Hello my dears, hopin ya lovely ladies can help a guy out. I'd like ta talk to ya bout what's been happ'nen know any stories about this spirit guy, or them elves that have been such a pain?"

The young man rubs his chin considering Dyson's story about Saithnar "Well that's curious, if the monyaments 'r the wizards that killed him sorta makes sense the spirit might be keepin an eye on em." He speculates further "Could be in some twisted spirit sorta way he's still actin the hero. By killin these people maybe he's savin everyone else from sumthin worse, thinks they're gonna wake the evil spell tossers 'r sumthin."

He looks from Dyson to the Elder Murdow whom he's taking from the exchanged glances don't share the same opinion on this. "If it is this long dead hero first question I got is what's set 'im off? He's been fine for however long I ain't buyin that he just decided to get up for a stroll one day. Maybe that crypt has a clue, it open fer folks ta get in?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy shrugs his shoulders when Robin looks to the others for signs of dissent. "Yeah, long as there ain't no bleedin parade or swarm o' admirers iffin we clean dis mess up..."

He listens carefully as the discussion goes on the mention of the woman that will be coming with them intrigues him. "Your bodyguard Tully?" He gets up out of the chair he'd claimed. "If she's been here that long she's bound to know her way around better'n we do. She sounds facinatin an' I do love a strong woman. Lookin forward ta meetin her." The roguish young man gives a wide grin that might be just a bit mischievous.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy tries to piece things together as everyone discusses the situation, trying to look at things from another angle. "So these Grugach elves pretty well stuck to themselves till this knight came along?" He sits up straighter in the chair he'd slumped into having mostly recovered from the traumatic encounter with the crowd "I wonder if maybe they're jumping to the same conclusion as we are, if the Knight's been hassling them too maybe they figure he's in cahoots with you all."

The young man nods at Alan's assessment that the knight seems to be the pressing matter "Yeah seems like we git rid o this knight things might go back ta normal... problem is how? Guy's a spook... or girl maybe I ain't get that good a look, either way I ain't think a knife inna back's gonna do much." He makes a stabbing motion with his dagger which somehow must have made it into his hand while he was talking.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy doesn't need any assistance getting in, when a clear path away from this crowd is apparent he doesn't hesitate to go for it, and quickly makes his way inside. Hurrying over to a seat and slumping down letting out a big relieved sigh, he's pretty sure someone invited them to sit, and if not... well he doesn't really care that much.

The young man gives a somewhat absent-minded wave when Marianne introduces him. Apparently he is paying attention to the Elder's story as he pipes up with a question "How do ya know they're in league? And why would they be? What they got ta gain by slaughterin folks at monyaments? On dat note what're the monyaments for?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

"Get away from me ya vultures!" Billy definitely seems twitchier than usual. The crowd would probably gladly leave the crazy man alone if he weren't in such close proximity with the nice adventurers. He glances towards the bard but is too focused on the crowd to really pay him much attention.

The young man says shakily to whomever in the group is willing to pay him any attention "S...so could we umm find sumplace a.. a lil more private ta talk? All 'o these people're startin ta unnerve me" Unnerved may be somewhat of an understatement, freaking out might be more like it.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy is pretty satisfied that Alan hasn't any further argument and he's won the conversation, however his attention is quickly taken by the crowd swarming up to them.

"Whoa... there's a boat load of them." The young black haired man sounds somewhat nervous "Backoff folks lemme through. Hey! no touching!" he puts his hand out as if it would keep the crowd away "No touching..."

He looks at Robinet dismounting and following after Mari, it would certainly be easier to navigate the crowd if he weren't riding yet Billy is very reluctant to leave the safety, or at least perceived safety, of Rudy "Rob I... uhh... I ain't so good wit crowds... y'know?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy chuckles and nods at Alan "Yeah she wuz shure ready for sum excitement alright, but ya seem ta furget that I was the first choice, you were playin the second fiddle so to speak." He leans back in his saddle a bit teasing somewhat smugly "Once she asked me up ta her room the game wuz over, not a big deal ta give up the prize. I kin let ya have some of the easy ones now an then, prefer a tougher challenge anyway." He grins widely and glances towards Marianne to see if she's listening "Like Mari. 'm makin progress ya'know she ain't tell me ta Drop dead troll even once this week."

He considers making some kind of wisecrack about the the backfiring thing, but can't decide if Alan meant his mom was like Tanasha-Lu or his pickpocket pal. He also decides that whatever he says will most likely come out as a jab at the man's mother rather than Alan himself and everyone knows mothers are off limits.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy looks back towards Tanasha-Lu as Alan moves away from her, when he's sure they're out of earshot he turns towards the bardic adventurer "Wow, she got this act down nearly as good as you, y'know she ain't believe any o' that hullabaloo she's spoutin any more'n you do right? Dem teary eyes 're a nice touch too." He pauses for a moment then continues remembering something "I knew this broad once that could turn on the tears as easy as Rob here draws back a bowstring, made the best pick pocket pal y'ever did see. We'd find a nice smug fat-pursed noble type, an on go the waterworks, ya'd be surprised how hard it is ta just ignore a bawlin girl even if ya are some snooty noble. So ya'know she'd distract em and I'd lighten their load so ta speak" The young rogue grins in reminiscence "She wuz one crafty girl."

Looking towards the town when Brock indicates they've arrived he nods at Tuck's question and adds "An' what izzit exactly that ya want us to do?"

Billy chuckles and smiles pleasantly towards Marianne when she comes towards him "Ya think I got ulterior motives dahlin? Can' be just that I thought doin some dishes wit you was more fun than goin up ta Fire-Tiger's room?"

"Ooooh always give me shivers when ya touch me" He teases and winks towards Mari as she touches his hand to her forehead. He then goes off to climb up on Rudy. "I know ya turned Tuck down, but if ya get tired o' walkin I'm shure Rudy can carry us both. Might be more temptin than the Tuckster's ol donkey. No offense donkey."

Billy grins towards Robinet "I dunno about Alan, but I'm feelin fine, so don't have ta worry about me." He glances towards Alan "If ya feel like ya need a break ya let us know yeah?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy stirs from where he'd set out his bed roll next to Mari's near the fireplace. It seems to take quite an effort to slowly force his eyes open, when he's able to see he finds Mari already up and dressing. The young black haired man lets out a yawn and a bit of a sleepy greeting "Mmm morning Mari" He pushes himself to a seated position and catches a whiff of the meal Brock prepared "Wow ya already started cookin? I love ya darlin, marry me."

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy smiles warmly at Tanasha-Lu and appears to consider her offer " Something to show me in the bedroom huh? Sum secret jus fer me, without dat misanthrope?" He gives a little nod in Alan's direction, then chuckles softly.

After a moment considering the tempting offer he slowly shakes his head which might be a bit unexpected "Sorry dear, but I think I'll get too nervous up in such a purdy girl's room." He lowers his voice "'sides, folks might get da wrong idea." He offers a grin to the pretty red haired woman "Of course you're more than welcome to come see Rudy wit me if ya want. I'm sure he'd like ya. Gotta help with dishes first though or Mari'll get mad." Unless Tanasha-Lu does or says something to stop him Billy will ease his way over to Mari, to help with the clean up.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy wasn't expecting Tanasha-Lu to be quite so touchy feely, but he's not really about to complain about a gorgeous girl sitting in his lap and squealing with joy about his fortune telling. Spotting Marianne he smiles a bit to himself the girl tries to pretend she's not interested, but her focus is almost entirely on the harrowing, and her excitement is pretty clear even though the telling isn't for her. He sneaks a wink towards her.

He completes the fortune telling, and sees Mari getting up to go do the dishes. With a few light pats on Tanasha-Lu's leg "I hate ta say it darlin, but ya better lemme up. If I don't help Mari wit da dishes she'll murda me." He smirks towards her "Course might be worth it ta spend da time wit ya." With a look towards the door he adds "I better check on Rudy too I ain't like him bein out there wit dem elves, and ghosts an all."

Billy grins towards Mari "You joke m'dear, but I see that you're still wearing the feather to this day. It seems you may have more faith in me than ya'd like ta put on."

He wrinkles his nose a bit when Alan decides to start playing it's despite the fact that the song isn't too bad, and fairly soft he doesn't seem to appreciate the distraction. Either way he continues with his divination.

"Alright Tanasha-Lu le's see what's in store for ya." With that he draws the first card contemplating it for a moment, it's a picture of a giant man with a huge lizard slung over his shoulder. He's standing over what looks to be a farm house. "The Mountain Man, hmmm he represents an encounter with a physical power outside of your control, this could very well be our visit."

He continues drawing the next card, it's a rather nasty looking tornado personified with angry red eyes with a bit of a grimace he attempts to interpret it "The Cyclone... this is probably Alan" He says with a glance towards the man as he plays his song "Well not Alan himself, but consequences of getting too close to him." Billy leans in closer to be more discreet with Tanasha-Lu with the next part "Seriously watch out for that guy he's only got one thing on his mind, and 'm pretty sure yer dad'll flip his wig if he finds out."

He focuses again on the cards drawing one more, this one is an armoured man with angelic wings and a halo sounding a trumpet "Ah, the trumpet this signifies an archon diving in righteously to face the danger." He puts his hand up playfully to the side of his mouth as if it could block the sound of his voice from carrying over in the musician's direction "Obviously me swooping in to rescue you from a certain someone's vile, impure intentions" He makes a not too discreet sort of pointing motion towards Alan.

"Alright one more" He draws a final card turning it up for Tanasha-Lu to see. Upon the card are two men looking very similar but wearing opposite colours, and one seems to have a dagger behind his back. "The twin duality and indecision, it looks like you have a very difficult decision ahead of ya an unclear choice between good and evil perhaps... this could very well mean that depending on how you choose you could experience the bright light of the Archon the trumpet predicts, or the unmitigated disaster of the cyclone."

The dark haired young man crosses his arms and leans back in his chair studying the cards all together. "Hmmm... I think this maybe doesn't help you very much." He doesn't seem all that pleased with the fortune "It seems you have a choice to make, and depending on your decisions things could go amazingly well, or very very badly." He looks at her and shrugs then smiles "But don't worry about it too much, I'm sure you'll make the right choice when the time comes."

"Hmmm... 'm always suspicious of people who seem too nice jus' seems like they must have sumthin goin on in the background and either they gotta make up for it by bein extra nice, or tryin ta cover it up."

Billy smiles at Tanasha-Lu, "Not that I suspect yer friends of anything of course, I jus prefer to be ready for anything. I also like ta have an idea of what that anythin might be. Speaking of which" He takes out a very ornate deck of cards, and begins shuffling. "Would you care for me to tell your fortune? I'd normally charge a pretty hefty price, but I wouldn't dream o' chargin you. Always good to have a glimpse of what's to come."

Billy looks curiously towards Tarbee and Tuck as they discuss, that last bit sounded just a little bit threatening. However the pretty girl indicated they should drop it so Billy'd better leave it at that. Manny and Robinet are not a real common sht, but it seems that other than a little pitchfork weaving they were accepted fairly well.

The roguish young man takes a seat next to Tanasha-Lu "Mari's quite a good cook, she tries to make me cook every so often, but I'm pretty sure she always regrets it don't you Mari?" He grins towards the north-woman. "Oh and by the way" he leans in a bit closer for emphasis on his stage whisper "Alan warned ya about Manny, but ta be honest 's usually me that cheats when we play cards... jus don't tell the others they haven't caught on"

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy shakes his head at the question of pipeweed "Nah, don't touch da stuff."

Tanasha Lu's posing, although possibly not intended for him isn't missed by Billy, and since Grizzly Adams' attention is on Alan it seemed like a good time to try a move himself, he goes for the good ol' Groucho Marx style eyebrow waggle. "Yeah ya got nothin ta worry about with us here."

Billy gives the Grizzly man, a pleasant smile, and hops down from his horse securing his equine friend somewhere he can graze if possible before coming into the house. "Thank you sir, we really appreciate it, I'm Billy" The black haired young man offers his hand "Ain't got a whole lot to eat, mostly dried rations, but I'm happy ta share if you'd like sum."

With a look over his shoulder towards his horse Billy adds"Is Rudabaga gonna be ok out here? I don' mean ta rub salt in an old wound, but yer friend didn't seem ta fare so well." by friend he means the man's horse.

Billy looks curiously at the halfling "How did you get way out here and mixed up with that knight if you never leave this Double Circle place?" Something seemed odd about this halfling his eyes, and the way he moved had an almost feline aspect and he seemed accustomed to stealth. His familiarity with the Henwen woman seemed odd as well if he never left the Double Circle. Maybe he was just being paranoid, but Billy decides it couldn't hurt to keep an eye on the little guy, though he'll try not to be too obvious about it.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

Billy will observe Brock to see if he gets any hunches.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Having listened to the discussion with Henwen Billy rubs his chin considering what's been said "I don't like ta jump ta conclusions. 's obvious people ha' been wronged, but the knight doesn't seem like the worst bloke out there. He stopped his charge when we showed up, if he's jus out killin willy nilly then why stop on accounta us?" He nods at

He nods towards Marianne when she says it makes no sense "'sactly Knights're supposed ta have values, some kinda honour code or sumthin. The whole talkin ta spirits thing kinda freaks me out a bit, but from what I know about spirits" meaning what he's heard from stories around the campfire "They've got a reason fur stickin around even when they got no body. Maybe sumone did him a right nasty turn, and he's here 'till they make up fur it, or maybe he made sum kinda oath he's bound to even when he's not 'sactly livin."

He mounts up on Rudy ready to proceed with the others "Ma point is he ain't attack everyone, there must be somethin that sets him off... Anyone ever communicate with him? We talked, but I dunno if he understood what we said. But if we could figure out what's makin him attack maybe we could put a stop to it."

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy looks curiously towards the woman "Are you safe here lady? There wuz sum kinda ghost chasing this little guy" he gestures to the halfling "Made a pretty nasty mess 'o sum traveling folks... You ain't have trouble?"

He considers Marianne's question thinking of the knight. 'If the woman can talk to spirits why not the knight? if that's what he is. The knight didn't seem totally unreasonable, maybe she's already talked to him and he's agreed to leave her alone. On that thought, maybe he had a perfectly good reason for attacking the travelers.'

"Do you often talk to spirits?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

Billy slowly shakes his head seeing the sad state that the bodies were in, even Tuck wouldn't be able to help them. Knowing they can't very well just leave these unfortunate souls laying in the road, he comes over to help Tuck "I ain't really get it Tuck, I could see right trough that knight, his horse din't even touch the ground. Can a ghost really do this to a person? I'da thought they'd just kinda pass through. Freaky yeah, but not deadly."

As he helps Tuck Billy keeps his eyes open in case the ghostly knight should come back or there's something waiting in the bushes, he doesn't want to get ambushed like these folks.

Once he's finished helping Tuck he'll search the area, for clues, or anything interesting.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23

"Don't fret too much pal, 'm sure there'll be another, if we's got talent for anythin it's findin a fight." The black haired youth smirks towards Marianne "Though if yer so disappointed we could hava tussle later... that is if yer up ta it, I'm a lil worried seein as yer too winded ta help the lil tyke outta the mud just after a little run." He knows very well that the woman can handle a lot more than a hundred yard dash, and if they did tussle she more than likely would be able to take him, in a fair fight at least, but he had to tease her about it anyway.

Billy starts out towards the halfling to help him up, but sees Robinet already doing so, and instead approaches to listen. "Round the corner ya say?" He turns and motions the monk "Tuck my man, there's injured people just around the corner, maybe still a chance to save them! Let's go"

"Rudy get your speckled behind over here!" The youngster calls to his horse hoping he'll actually listen to him this time.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Knife Master/7

"Rudy, you stay here, ya hear?" Billy was talking to his horse, and pointed to the ground where the large animal stood. "I don't wanna havta go chase ya down again." Trusting that the appaloosa would stay put he turned and started towards the halfling and ghostly knight.

"I'm not so sure chief. He din even seem ta notice me talkin ta him, an only stopped when Mari got in 'is way. I don't think it wuz just me either... not this time anyway, I wuz bein nice. Not even sure 'e can understand us. He did stop though rather then jus tramplin the lil lady, so maybe he doesn' really wanna hurt us. Course I woodn't wanna mess wit us either."

As the young man approaches he turns his attention towards the halfling "Well if this see-through soldier don't seem inclined ta talk ta us we might be at a bit of a standoff" He eyes the specter ready to react if he makes any hostile actions.

The halfling was about what Billy had expected judging from the sound of the footsteps. The ghostly pursuer on the other hand was not, it's not every day you see a transparent jouster charging a pint-sized humanoid.

Trying to take the strange sight in stride the young rogue adjusts his cloak, and hops down off his horse then addresses the spectral knight. "Good sir knight. Surely whatever our little friend has done isn't worth his life. Why don't we sit and talk about it? We can share a horn of ale." He offer's Marianne's horn which he had apparently stashed somewhere in his loose fitting clothing.

Billy considers then shakes his head "Nah, I think a beer wench'd be less scary. I tend ta prefer my beer wenches to be less likely ta pick me up and snap me in half."

He grins towards Marianne as he accepts the ale horn "An I thought I told ya ta quit checkin out my... meaningful pause "Horse."

He takes a drink from the horn then pauses catching a slight whisper that could have been a footstep, and listening more closely. Deciding those are indeed footsteps and that they're heading right towards the gang he holds up a hand making a signal to the others so they'll get on their guard. He leans over to warn them quietly "Hear somethin comin runnin pretty hard towards us smaller 'n me but can't tell how many, be ready but don't give away that we know they're comin"

Billy would be close to the front to so he can do scouting and get in the melee and all maybe #2 or next to Mari if we're going side by side

An exaggerated sigh comes from the young dark haired man from where he sits upon his small red appaloosa as they lope along. "How long we been ridin? Don' gimme wrong sun's nice an' al, but we been on this road for hours." They'd probably heard similar complaints from Billy his attention span wasn't really the best, and despite that he actually likes riding and his little horse it wasn't terribly exciting.

He lurches to the side as his horse steps in a divot "Whoa, cripes! You saiddit lady... 'm not even sure this thing qualifies 's a road." Although he may not seem like it the young lad's quite alert his eyes scanning carefully for anything out of the ordinary especially any sign of possible ambush. However his attention to detail regarding anything not out of the ordinary is a bit lacking, the trees are all starting to look alike.

Seeing the horn being passed around his green eyes light up. "Hey Mari toss that over here. Y'know I can't resist a chance to get a taste of your horn."

I think Billy's all done. Personality wise, he's bit of a smart alek, and maybe a little arrogant. He's lived on the streets for most of his life, and gets by telling fortunes, and doing tricks sometimes outright conning people, though the cons are usually saved for the very rich that are flaunting their wealth and treating the less fortunate like slaves or worse.

I'll try to get a better background, and start real posts tomorrow.
