About Besthana "Bess" Shailaja
A skilled monk with granite-like stony skin and crystalline hair, Besthana Shailaja seeks only to achieve enlightenment. Given that, as an Oread, her lifespan is longer than usual, she has plenty of time to pursue spiritual and physical perfection and balance, so she has no problem with spending some time helping out the Pathfinder Society. She is strong and wise, but incredibly poor in terms of social graces and charisma. Indeed, she is gruff and, though she has not taken a vow of honesty, she is terrible at lying even in the slightest. She is a no-nonsense person, believing that the most direct path is often the best.
