Anders stands at 196cm tall, and is quite athletic. He has wide shoulders and strong muscles from working at his father’s forge. He has short spiky brown hair and gray eyes. He has black tattoo of a Mythosaur skull on the inside of his left forearm, and a two-headed eagle across his back.

The son of an immigrant blacksmith on Concord Dawn, Anders followed in his father’s footsteps. While his father (Geoffrey Karson) did not let him become Manda’ade, Anders still spent much of his time with the native Mandalorian children, and picked up the language and culture.
During the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, Anders developed Post Traumatic Vocal Disarticulation Disorder, and lost his voice for three years after the war. He relearned how to talk from self-professed Mandalorian historian Llats Ward, one of the Cuy’val Dar.
His father died just a few months ago, freeing him to search for his estranged mother, a Mando’ad. He has begun his search her in Keldabe, hoping to find his mother and join her clan. (He does not share her clan-name, as his father refused to let him take it. Anders’ mother is from Clan Kelborn.)
