About Belmont Grayland

Ever since he was a young man, Belmont Grayland of Galt (Once known as Horns) has led a life that he isn't entirely proud of. When he was born, his grandmother (A noblewoman) abandoned him at an orphanage as he came out with notable demonic traits. At the age of 7, he was making a living on the street running cheap card tricks for a living. At the age of 11, he joined a circus troupe and grew his talents of skulduggery and legerdemain. His life changed when he was caught by an wizened soldier turned drifter after trying to pick his pocket. The soldier; Reid Bellwort took the wayward young man under his wing, becoming a father figure and taught him to defend himself.

He also taught him how to use a firearm and it was where he got his full name as Belmont Grayland.

As he reached his 20s, Belmont had started to started to work as a mercenary, much like his adoptive father. However, his work was mixed with a growing gambling addiction, winning and losing everything between jobs. His preferred game of cards and his streak of winning (Or cheating, depending who you ask) earned him the nickname "Cardshark Monty". However, one day, in a Tavern in Sothis, after winning a beautiful Clan Pistol from a Dwarf Mercenary named Kyd Cloudguard, he was greeted by a mysterious stranger, offering to play a game of cards with a mysterious deck, questioning how much he was willing to bet.

Before he could even find the answer, he was thrown into another adventure and now all of fate seems to want to test him. To add to this, Kyd (The Dwarf whose pistol he put up as a reward for Bell's game) wants his gun back lest he faces great shame amongst his clan.
