Greetings all.
First, thank you for your time. Second, apologizes if this has already been discussed and I failed to find it.
I am an old rp'er, and have only recently starting playing pnp games. After a few months of trying out the different dnd versions out there, my group has decided on Pathfinder.
I am really interested in the Witch, and to a lesser extent the Magus classes. What I've decided is that if I could sweet talk the D.M. into letting me bring the Witch to a mid-BAB class so it could be more hands on, "I'm going to get you," would make the Witch perfect for what I want.
So, in order to do that, it looks like a fair trade would be (considering the other mid-BAB casters) is to take up the bard/magus/inquisitor/etc. spell progression (obviously removing 7th, 8th and 9th lvl spells) in order to get; d8 HD, mid-BAB, and the ability to wear light armor w/o spell failure. Is that a fair trade?
I'm thinking that leaving the other class abilities untouched is preferred, but I don't want to OP my character.
I appreciate any responses.
Cordially,
Belazoar
