About Belaria Andosana

Belaria was born on a small farm in the Sandpoint Hinterlands, just south of Mosswood. When she was just a child, a pack of goblin raiders attacked the farm and burned it to the ground. Shalelu showed up in time to drive off the goblins and rescue Belaria from the fire, but wasn't able to save her parents. Feeling remorse and pity for the young girl, Shalelu took Belaria under her wing, teaching her how to survive in the wilderness and defend herself. Belaria proved to be a fast learner, and it wasn't long before she became capable of taking care of herself, but she still values the advice and wisdom of her adoptive older sister.
She currently works as a wilderness expert and alchemist in Sandpoint, applying the skills Shalelu gave her while satiating her endless desire for more knowledge. She has also taken a minor interest in transmutation and enhancement magic, and a major interest in martial arts, the latter of which she sees as a more..."direct" application of her intellect. The body is just an extension of the brain, so why not learn how to fully utilize it?
That said, she is starting to get tired of life in Sandpoint. She feels like she has seen everything there is to see there. And the continuing goblin attacks are an unpleasant reminder of what she has lost. If Shalelu were to start dropping hints about going on a journey to parts unknown, Belaria would be all too eager to come along.
