Background:

Baron Larrieux Montpierre was born to an aristocratic family in the trade capital, Endhome. Born to lead, he was sent at an early age to the temple of Sefagreth. He found his time in temple training difficult. Though he enjoyed learning the art of finance, he found the desire to use wealth to advance society boring. He instead saw the accrual of wealth a fine way to advance his own lifestyle and desires.

He did graduate as an acolyte, but would have been labeled a heretic (Separatist) by the most devote priests. Still, he found favor with the God of Commerce and Trade. Instead of using guile to win arguments, he used his fists. This too separated him from the favor of the faithful. Upon returning home, his parents threw him headlong into politics, hoping he would bring wealth and popularity to the family spice business. Wanderlust and a desire to face adventure got the best of him. To his parents displeasure, he enrolled in the militia. He spent a three year tour of duty in the military, learning to fight and eventually rising to the rank of lieutenant due to his military prowess and ability to lead. He led his platoon on many tactical maneuvers against orc and barbarian hordes. When his time in the military was over, he returned to Endhome.

Not one to live a mundane lifestyle, he apprenticed under a dwarven brewer. Within a year, he had opened his own pub and began brewing his own micro-brew. Le Montpierre Stout gained local fame quickly. His next few years were spent in gambling, brewing, drunkenness, and debauchery. His finances were soon subdued by his lifestyle. He sold the pub to his top barmaid and sent the gains to his parents by check to reimburse them for the money he had wasted over the early years of his life.

With only his meager possessions in hand, he set off for adventure once again. He signed up as a guard for a local merchant caravan. Known for his famous stout, he was a favorite of the other guards. He spent over a year on the caravan before boredom once again hit. He is currently traveling back to Endhome alone while looking for his next chance at wealth, fame, and adventure. He is working at the Felled Ogre brewing beer while awaiting a merchant caravan or group to travel to Endhome with for safety.
