Spoiler:
Ability Bonus:+2 to Constitution
Favored Class (Barbarian):Half orcs can choose any one class as their favored class at 1st level. Once made, this choice cannot be changed.
Darkvision
Intimidating: Half orcs gain +2 to the Intimidate skill
Human Raised: Some half-orcs raised as humans lack their cousins’ ferocity and training in orc weapons, but pick up a bit of their human parents’ skills. They gain the human’s skilled racial trait. This racial trait replaces orc ferocity and weapon familiarity.
(Barbarian) Rage (6 rounds) (Ex): A barbarian can call upon inner reserves of strength and ferocity, granting her additional combat prowess. Starting at 1st level, a barbarian can rage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + her Constitution modifier. At each level after 1st, she can rage for 1 additional round. Temporary increases to Constitution, such as those gained from rage and spells like bear’s endurance, do not increase the total number of rounds that a barbarian can rage per day. A barbarian can enter rage as a free action. The total number of rounds of rage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours do not need to be consecutive.

While in rage, a barbarian gains a +4 morale bonus to her Strength and Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saves. In addition, she takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants the barbarian 2 hit points per Hit Dice, but these disappear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.

A barbarian can end her rage as a free action and is fatigued after rage for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A barbarian cannot enter a new rage while fatigued or exhausted but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a barbarian falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends, placing her in peril of death.

Fast Movement (Ex): A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for her race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor, and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn. This bonus stacks with any other bonuses to the barbarian’s land speed.

Appearance:
Broad-shouldered and muscular, it is easy to see how Baolo consistently lifts and moves the large carcasses he butchers. Baolo prefers to keep his dark hair short and the cleanly kept beard that normally covers his jaw has grown slightly mangy during his time in captivity. His intense, dispassionate gaze hints at the trouble those who bother him might get themselves into. Before being condemned to Branderscar, he would often be seen in a large apron tied off over sturdy, functional clothing.

Background:
Even in the shining city of Matharyn, some of the less fortunate of the populace can be forgotten. Baolo was among that group. Born an orphan, Baolo was found surviving on the streets and sent to live with a 'jolly, good, and honest man' by the name of Handor at an early age. There, society hoped Handor would be able to tame the "wild, green-skinned child's baser urges". He apprenticed under the man, who owned a meat and stew shop that provided prime cuts of meat and fish to House Darius and served stews to the poor populace of the city. Handor wasn't quite as good and honest as his reputation dictated however, with his shop acting as a front for a fencing operation. Starting off, Baolo simply took the stewable bits of meat and cooked it up in soups. As Baolo grew, Handor decided to put Baolo's natural strength and skill to use, bringing Baolo in on his operation. From there, Baolo learned to use his skill with the blade to properly butcher meat just as he learned from Handor how to properly apply his strength and physical presence in procuring what Handor wanted to have procured. To say that Baolo's new life was easy was far from the truth. Handor had a temper that was augmented when drunk and expected Baolo to keep up his cover as a a butcher's apprentice and occasional cook. When either job wasn't done to Handor's satisfaction, he would let Baolo know with a blow to the rips or legs, enough to remind the young man of his responsibilities without leaving an evident mark. From these lessons, Baolo learned that to survive is pain and only by overcoming it could one continue to live.

As he grew older, he schemed to overcome the abuse that Handor levied upon him. One night, the years of abuse caught up with the young man. Waiting until the butcher shop was closed for the night and it was only Baolo and the out of shape con man. So, in a near wild rage, Baolo cornered Handor and pummeled the old man to death. Then, taking the body to the kitchen, Baolo used the butcher knives there to get rid of the body, incorporating it into the stew for the next day. Never had the poor of the city eaten so well. Baolo, reflecting on the events of his life, realized that it was House Darius' firm adherence to orthodoxy that allowed Handor to work unmolested as he had. Thus, he took over Handor's shop and used it to target anyone he met who believed House Darius was good for Talingarde. Acting as a simple butcher by day and mixing his victims into his stews at night to be sold the next day, Baolo was only caught after his operation was discovered by an inquisitive Knight of Alerion named Prat Cornwall, who was looking into the mysterious disappearances of a nobleman' son. Raiding Baolo's shop, Prat found the boy tied up, Baolo ready to split the boy's head from his body. Though Baolo did his best to put up a fight, he was taken in and sentenced to die by beheading for his heinous crimes.

Personality:
“In your self-righteous ignorance you condemn me, because you fear the truth I am. A child of the legacy you have made. The man found stripped and bound on my butchering block showed the state of you nation. House Darius is flawed and weak and it's for exposing the Crown's inability to protect its own people that you condemn me. You can shield yourself with crown and flag, but it willna, canna change the truth – gold and the Crown canna protect you from pain and death. Only by understanding this lesson will you find your place in this world.” — Baolo, just after his sentencing.

From the venison and ox he sells to the unfortunate citizens that make up one of his stews, Baolo sees everything that crosses his butchers table as meat to be distributed. Indeed, Baolo possesses the will to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals. That said, he is able to show mercy to those who he thinks deserves it and only targets those who work to protect the Crown's rule. As a result of his own experience with abuse, he has a hatred for anyone who hits children. Though Baolo is willing to use that abuse to teach the youth a valuable lesson; That if they want to survive, they must rely on themselves first before others. The murderer possesses a cold, dispassionate intensity that seems to boil up to the surface when he is on the hunt. During his trial, he was labeled the 'Talirean Butcher', a nickname that has resonated with him. He sees himself as cutting off the fat that has made Talingarde weak. By killing those who support House Darius and the Church, he is working to ensure that those left behind won't look to the Mitra and Crown for support. Though the manner in which Baolo dealt with his victims was heinous and many might label him a cannibal for what he did, he saw the stews he made as a means to an end, for he needed to cover up his crimes if he hoped to continue in his mission. Besides, he never actually partook in the stews himself.
