		About Asuka Sanzuwu
Hailing from a mountainous village in Tian Xia, Asuka and her family were eventually forced from their home and moved to the Tengu nation of Kwanlai. Times were tough for Asuka's family, partly due to increasing tensions in the area. Asuka joined the local militia to protect her new home and her family. She was taught to use a musket and she quickly proved herself to be a decent shot. Fortunately, the conflict died down almost as quickly as it had emerged and Asuka was allowed to return home. Having heard tales of the Pathfinder Society from other soldiers, she decided to sell some of her possessions and travel to Absalom to see the world, go on adventures, and earn some money to send back home to her family.
The only item she seems reluctant to part with is her broken musket from her militia days. Despite appearing broken to others, Asuka actually keeps her musket if perfect working order and becomes quickly frustrated when it misfires (which causes her to let loose a string of Tien and Tengu curse words. Her military days have left her with quite a foul mouth, but she has yet to master any Golarian swear words). Though still a novice gunslinger, Asuka is always trying to improve her skills. Originally a worshipper of Hei Feng (the god of Tengu and storms), she has shown an interest in the teachings of Irori, specifically the ideas of self-perfection and enlightenment. She remains neutral in most matters of good-and-evil or law-and-chaos, choosing to be more focused on survival and pragmatism than on a specific philosophy or set of laws.
