you do so, using up the rest of your invisibility. you don't hear anything. I'd suggest just giving a pattern of action and i'll describe the rooms until something occurs and let you know how long each search takes.

this room is too massive to check with just one check. as is, you don't notice anything out of the ordinary with it or any creatures in it.

i'm fine. depends on what else we want to do today. We found the spire ritual chamber. We need to get a metric s~$~ ton of holy water, and start gathering the rest of the stuff we need for the ritual. We might as well check out the rest of this spire though and make sure its cleared out. We need the other two eyes anyway right? they're around here somewhere?

Guys, there's also three entrances I can see on the cliff face. at about 200 ft. up there's a big archway. at 150 ft. on the NE side there's another one , with some stairs, and at 100 ft on the NW side there's another with stairs.

we'll call these East, West, and Central entrances. if you refer to the map, and scroll up, I've added a key for the size of the grid squares, as well as red lines showing your ascent, and grey circles around the Central, East, and West entrances. East and West look like they can be accessed from stairs ( rubble and overgrowth are currently concealing the ground level portions of the stairs. the whole winding stairwell looks like difficult terrain the entire long treacherous way up. )

I engage my wing contraption, my leathery mechanical looking wings sprout from my red longcoat, and I move 60 ft. to try and fly after leo and catch him. I can make it right out of the elemental's reach this round, right over where leo almost landed.

I can barely hurt it! its got no anatomy. Its one massive spark. Its going to be a bit hard to hurt with any kind of weapon!

1st day i can't do much, 2nd day i can prepare a bunch of extracts for detect secret doors and we can comb this place, since i didn't see any way up or down. i've got enough for us all, we can do walk throughs of all the chambers, and see if we turn up anything. All in ?

how close are we to 7th level? i would gain a 3rd level extract, and could maybe brew up a potion of gasseous form.

I need to start preparing an extract for inflict light wounds, i think i learned that or ok'ed it with the gm, its not a typical Alchemist spell. but he seemed fine with it. Might want to research an extract of Infernal Healing as well, that seems like a no brainer... for now at least since we're not very wand-plenty.

i can produce up to two light curative healing tonics today. Can you take positive energy dilutions without harm? , Ash asks Saio

Forsythe, would you like to use my longbow? I realized in a fight you might be better at it than I am, I was just holding on to it to have something magical to use at a range.

i'm +3 (1d8+3/x3) with it, in your hands it's be +7 (1d8/x3), not as good as your light crossbow, but magical already, and easier to equip

Ash returns. One of the horses was killed outright, another drowned in a bog during the fight. He recovers four, and rides back spouting some postulation about bottling horses.

You quickly cut Leo out, as he still seems alive, but very tentatively. and @leo seems barely to be breathing. You quickly wash the acid from him, and Saio can focus on healing.

Ash brushes off any offer. Forsythe says she can cast infernal healing on you, that she can do three times today.

yeah so by the time you get leo out, he's probably on 73 damage, and saio has already absorbed +10 points in the two rounds after combat. so, saio has an additional 83 points of damage to recover.

I'm going to try and fly after the horses, and see if I can't round them up. If either of you ladies has an idea how to guarantee the horses return? or one of you would like to come with me, I can manage to carry one, so we don't split ourselves up too thinly. Ash said, gesturing at Piety, Temperance, and Forsythe.

ash casts darkness on his blade and flies to the creature. if you have darkvision, you should be fine. Neji, Edwin, and Saio should be ok. Tempy, Piety lose direct LoS.

the plan:
go into the friar for a drink with leo. quaff our extracts of invisibility, get into the office, view the ledger for when our elf may have stayed there, and confirm if it is our elf or not, and what room he was in. check out the room.

There was also someone from the 4th knot, supposedly and expert , an elven ranger, Aiden Kael. He found the horn and sent word back, but then the 4th disappeared. We know from them that its concealed in a great spire of stone less than a day's ride from Farholde. I suggest we mount an expedition like them to check it out.

I don't know that I trust him. Let alone need to stay with him. We have an inn, and our rooms. I'm going to go Temperance's route, and do my shopping by going back to the magic shoppe and getting some sleeves of endless garments or whatever, and pick up a few bejeweled trinkets to top off the ensemble. ( 400gp should be enough ? ). I don't like going in unarmed, so i'll conceal a dagger up my sleeves. my mithril shirt shouldn't bee too noticeable underneath things, but i'll do without my shield and leave my weapons at the door.
