Hi guys. I added a few things to my Sidecart.
I was hoping that it could ship with this Month's Shipments, as it has added them to July in the Subs page. The system might automatically do this anyway, I was just giving you a heads up. :)
I sent you an e-mail regarding this problem. I'd really appreciate a quick response back (as the last few times I've e-mailed, it has taken up to a week to get a response, and in one case longer), so I can get it sorted in a hurry.
Can I please get the 2 Comics I just added to my Sidecart (the 2 PFC #6's) added to this order so I can get a recalculated total so I know how much I have to add to my card. :)
the Shadow Cleric Soufara Ebonwind on p.59 of the NPC Codex?
It is by far my favourite piece in the book and I'm interested to know. I thought perhaps Jason Engle because it is reminiscent of some of his art but I don't think it is...
I was just checking in to make sure that the 2 PF Comics in my sidecart get added to my current pending Subscription Order. When I went through Checkout, there was no option to add them to a current pending order, only to add them to the sidecart to ship with the next subscription shipment.
Cheers
As a side note. For some reason the comics are always coming up with weird shipping when you order them. Things like splitting them into separate orders (ie. I ordered 2 comics as part of the same order, but it automatically split them into 2 separate shipments with no option to combine them). It's been doing this for a while now and I only ever seem to have issues with comics acting wonky.
Is there a mechanical reason behind why a Kensai can't choose a Simple Weapon as his Chosen Weapon (other than RaW, I'm not stupid).
I'm hopefully fishing for Developer input into this as while I know all of you guys can offer some insightful ideas, I really want to get to the core idea behind why Simple Weapons were omitted.

I was under the impression that all of the Thornkeep stuff was due to ship with January's shipments? Up until last week it was all in with January's Subs, but just now when I looked half of the items (the good half) are in with February's shipment. :(
I wish I could keep it, but with the Pathfinder Online Kickstarter this month too and trying to save for a holiday I just can't afford them at this time. :(
I originally put my RotRL Deluxe in my sidecart to ship with the next available Subscription shipment and at the moment it is sitting in the December Shipment in my My Subscriptions page.
Is there any kind of remote posibility that this can be seperated and shipped this week along with the rest of the ones going out (I wasn't sure how you were doing the pre-orders, so if it's already slated to be seperated and shipped then thanks in advance). :)
I'd also like to make sure that when it is shipped that it will use the Paizo Credit I have available, the reason I got the Gift Certificate was so I could use it for the RotRL Deluxe.
An authour I'd really like to see do a novel (or more) for the Pathfinder Tales line is Tim Waggoner. In my opinion his is Blade of the Flame Trilogy was one of the best series that Wizards of the Coast produced (and I have a large five shelf bookcase filled with D&D novels).
The character interaction, style and tone of those books would be a perfect meld for what you've been doing with this line.
Just dropping you a line here to let you know that I have e-mailed you about this problem so that you can look at it ASAP since I know that you tend to get a quicker response via the Message Boards than e-mail, but I didn't want to go through the problems in a post.
First of all I'd like to say that I am truly amazed by the fast turn around on this package. I got the Shipping notification on Friday and my Minis arrived today! That is the fastest I've ever had anything delivered before (5 day, two of which were weekend days). Now onto my query...
I know this has probably been asked and answered before but I have a question regarding (received) broken Rise of the Runelords Minis.
3 of the Minis were broken in some way when I opened the boosters.
1x Mokmurion and
1x Ameiko Kaijutsu
are both off their bases.
Mokmurion I think I might be able to glue back on because he seems to fit back into the holes. Ameiko is a no go though, I can't get the foot pegs to fit into the holes. Both of these minis I have doubles of though so I am not too worried, even though Mokmurion is a Rare.
My real problem is my Highlady Athroxis (Rare). She is missing her left arm (the one not holding her weapon) at the shoulder. I checked in the box and it's not in there either (I did this when something was missing off one of my Heroes and Monsters minis and found what had broken off in the plastic; that wasn't an issue though as it was just some spikes off the Ogres Club). This was the only copy I got of this mini, so I'm pretty upset about the unrepairable damage.
What I was wondering is: Is there a process, either here or through Wizkids, to go about reporting and possibly getting a replacement for the damaged minis (especially Highlady Athroxis if not the other two)?
21 people marked this as FAQ candidate. Answered in the errata.
I am making a Tiefling character and I just want to make sure that I am reading correctly how the Scaled Skin Racial Trait (p.169) and the Armor of the Pit Feat (p.172) interact with one another.
If I take Scaled Skin (replacing Fiendish Resistance) I end up with:
+1 Natural Armor and (lets say) Cold Resistance 5.
If I then take Armor of the Pit, I end up with:
+1 Natural Armor, Cold Resistance 5, Electricity Resistance 5 and Fire Resistance 5.
As the Special Benefit of Armor of the Pit uses the word instead, which to me means that instead of getting an additional +2 Natural Armor (for a total of +3) to gain 2 more Resistances.
All I can say is that's a little wonky to me...
If I don't take Scaled Skin (just using the Tiefing's regular Fiendish Resistance) and just take Armor of the Pit, I end up with:
+2 Natural Armor, Cold Resistance 5, Electricity Resistance 5 and Fire Resistance 5.
Why would anyone take Scaled Skin if they plan on taking Armor of the Pit? To me, the Special Benefit line of the Feat is totally redundant. How can taking 2 benefits be less optimal than taking 1 benefit?
Just a quick recap:
Scaled Skin + Armor of the Pit = +1 Natural Armor, Cold Resistance 5, Electricity Resistance 5 and Fire Resistance 5
Fiendish Resistance + Armor of the Pit = +2 Natural Armor, Cold Resistance 5, Electricity Resistance 5 and Fire Resistance 5
I would have thought that:
Scaled Skin + Armor of the Pit = +3 Natural Armor, Cold Resistance 5, Electricity Resistance 5 and Fire Resistance 5
Ummm... I just looked in my Subscription Tab to check whether March's shipment would be mid or late and had do do a bit of a WTF???
It seems that March, April and May's shipments have all been combined into one super huge $200 shipment due in mid-May? Is this an error, or is this what's actually happening?

has been split up into a bunch of smaller shippments as far as I can tell. It has been trying to charge me individualy for each shipment instead of just taking the entire ammount (I did have some issues when my wife spent some of the money and I had to wait until this week to be paid again to top it back up). So so far it has charged me for (as far as I can tell) 4 of the 6 individual shipments, but when I try to complete the transaction and pay for the remaining shipments, it keeps giving me an insufficient funds warning and telling me there's a problem. There is $170.00 in my card right now, and despite the fact that this amount is more than the cost of my total order, the remaining orders should come to nowhere near that much.
Are you able to tell me exactly how much is remaining to pay and give me some suggestions as to why it won't let me pay for them?
I'm just letting you know that I sent you an e-mail about this order because I know you are more likely to check here first, but it's not something I want to Post in a Thread. :)

Pathfinder Adventure Path #51: The Hungry Storm (Jade Regent 3 of 6) (PFRPG) Print Edition (subscription copy) Pending
Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Lands of the Linnorm Kings (PFRPG) Print Edition (subscription copy) Pending
Pathfinder Player Companion: Faiths of Corruption (PFRPG) Print Edition (subscription copy) Pending
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Beginner Box (OGL) Boxed Set (subscription copy) Shipping
Hi Guys,
Any idea why half of my order (The Beginner Box) shipped 2 days ago and the rest still hasn't shipped yet? I've had orders split to save on postage before and they've always gone out together, I've never had the one (split) order sent days apart before (and it's rare that I've had a subscription order ship this late in the week before)?
Just curious because the stuff that is still pending is the stuff that I actually want. Like a lot of people I wasn't overly interested in the Beginner Box, but unlike most I still kept it and doing so seems to have bitten me in the arse by slowing up the rest of the order... :/
When I tried to apply the "anniversary9" Promo Code to the order I just tried to place, it came up with the error message: The promotional code "anniversary9" is no longer valid and has been removed from your order.
I was under the impression that this code was valid until the end of July. I havn't tried to redeem it yet (I know it's only valid for one transaction), since the only things I've bought since it became available were non-Paizo .pdfs and Gift Certificates (both of which it's not valid for).
Is there a reason it's not working for me?
Order #1708761 (Early July Subscription Order)is pending atm and I just added a Gamemastery Cards Sub to my list of Subscriptions. I started with the Urban NPCs Face Cards, which are due to ship Early July as well. I just want to make sure that they will combine with Order #1708761 and all come out together.

A Game of Thrones—The Card Game: Core Set Backorder

A Game of Thrones Card Game: Time of Trials Chapter Pack
A Game of Thrones Card Game: Tower of the Hand Chapter Pack
A Game of Thrones Card Game: Tales from the Red Keep Chapter Pack
A Game of Thrones Card Game: Secrets and Spies Chapter Pack
A Game of Thrones Card Came: Battle of Blackwater Bay Chapter Pack
A Game of Thrones Card Game: Lords of Winter Expansion
A Game of Thrones Card Game: Queen of Dragons Expansion
Pathfinder Miniatures: Chivane, Red Mantis Assassin
Any idea when the Core Set will come off Backorder, since it wasn't on Backorder when I placed the order and keeping $200 in my card is fast becoming a real issue after 3 weeks?
I got my Arkham Dice today, but was wondering why they shipped seperately to the Carrion Crown/World Guide Subscription. I'm assuming that it must have been cheaper to do it that way, but what I was really wondering is if the Books had shipped yet?
The reason I ask is that I thought that by adding the dice to my subscription shippment that the total cost (dice plus subs) would be taken out as one transaction, not two seperate ones.
I have found the payment for the dice in my statement, but as far as I'm aware I can't find anything for the books? I'm a little worried that the money that I had sitting in the credit card was just spent yesterday and today by my wife for groceries.
Spoiler:
My wife is not a big fan of me spending money on Paizo and if she sees anything over $20 sitting in the account for anything longer than a week she will spend it and not care what I'm trying to buy. I then have to try and scramble to get the money together again, which can be hard. It's one of the reasons why you might get an insufficient funds warning, but then the next day I'll re-submit the same payment method.
When I received the e-mail saying the books would ship by the 11th, I was glad it would be so soon since the pre-authourisation had just expired and the money was once again "available" in the account. But a week later and the money is still there, so you get my dilemma.
Anything you can tell me about the status of this order would be very appreciated.
I literally just received this order and was a little distressed to find that the tube the Poster comes in has been crushed in the middle. With some trepidation I opened the tube and discovered that yes, that big crease in the tube has in fact placed a crush mark all the way down the centre of the Poster, which includes small tears in a number of places.
Is there anything I can do about this at all, as I was planning on getting the Poster laminated and hung in my garage/gaming den?
Is there any chance of getting updates for the Draconic Bloodline to incorporate the new True Dragons in the Bestiary 2? I have been itching to play an Umbral Draconic Sorcerer since the Core Rulebook first released, but sadly Home Brew Rules are not allowed at my gaming table (if it ain't in the Rule Books, it ain't in the game).
We're currently running through Rise of the Runelords at the moment in our fortnightly Pen and Paper game.
Sadly my halfling Barbarian Big John Lonnigan met his end while trying to battle Malfeshnekor a little earlier than we should have.
My new Magus, Ariadne deSernos isn't doing too badly so far though, so hopefully she'll be around for a while to come.
On another note:
I love that you have a Paladin of Desna in your new party. I had a Paladin of Desna as my very first PbP character and after the huge arguments on the Boards over whether or not it was legal to be a Paladin of a Deity who wasn't Lawful Good/Neutral I'm overjoyed to see you embracing it. :)
Also, Sabriel is one of my favourite character names, as you can see by the fact that my 4th PbP character was named Sabriel (amongst a number of others over the years). :D
Just a query as I sent an e-mail yesterday (15.5 hours ago to be exact) which mean that an entire work day has passed with no reply.
I'm not being confrontational, I'm just wondering how often the Customer Service e-mail address is check. Is it daily, every couple of days, weekly...?
Here is the e-mail I sent:
ummm...
Cos & Sara I think there's been a little bit of a problem that Gary may need to be aware of. :/
I ordered 5 .pdfs from the store and it's only charged me for one of them and is supposedly going to charge me for the rest when they ship?
When I go to My Downloads the only one there is the Condition Cards, the other 4 that are "shipping" aren't in there.
I'd normally think something like this was amusing and just wait for you guys to sort it out, but I am a tad annoyed simply for the fact that every time I place an order with you guys I get charged another dollar-dollar fifty on top of your order cost due to conversion fees (this is the only reason I buy all of the Open Design stuff from their store by the way, I can use PayPal there and it doesn't cost me the fee). This is why I've been holding off and made a larger purchase, since I've started to notice that I order one $2 .pdf and get charged half as much again in a fee. What this basically amounts to is that I'll be charged that fee for the $0.99 .pdf and then charged it again when the others get charged.
Cheers
Craig Johnston

Someone had to do it... I just figured it might as well be me.

Montellan Corey
Male Human Ranger 4/Rogue 6
Description: Montellan is average in almost every sense of the word. Five foot nine, black hair and with nondescript features, he is someone seldom noticed and easily forgotten. He dresses in simple black shoes, black pants, plain white shirt and black vest. On cooler days, he also wears a worn black jacket. His one noteworthy feature is his pale ice blue eyes, which sparkle with an inner chill to match their hue.
To look at him one would never guess that he grew up on a farm outside the city of Carpenden in Andoran, for he carries himself with the air of one accustomed to life within Almas. He is soft spoken, but his speech portrays an intelligence that would see him rise to the top of his chosen profession were he to truly apply himself. Instead, he channels that intellect into darker pursuits.
Motivations/Goals: The thrill of the hunt is his only motivation. He goes about his days locked in the boring drudgery of normalcy, an apprentice bookkeeper by trade. It is at night that he truly comes alive.
He discovered early in life that the only true pleasure he could garner from life was by inflicting pain onto living creatures. He began when he was nine after he found a calf in one of the fields that had been attacked by a wild animal. He sat there for three hours watching it die; only to have new life spring into existence within his heart as the calf’s was extinguished. He would wander for hours at a time around nearby farms, tormenting and torturing animals, occasionally getting carried away and killing them without realizing. The culmination of his youthful journey came just weeks before his eighteenth birthday when, without much thought, he walked into his parents’ bedroom and butchered them while they slept. Their deaths were blamed on local bandits who had been raiding in the area, as after the deed was done he was careful to place the house into disarray and hide a number of valuables.
Selling the farm and pocketing a tidy sum, he bought himself a small townhouse in Almas from which to find himself a job in an attempt to relieve his boredom. It was only a matter of time however before his dark urges would again come to the fore.
Schemes/Plots/Adventure Hooks: He takes life on a day by day basis, plotting his hunts as he goes.
Another body has turned up floating face down in the harbor, with familiar lacerations on its torso and missing a hand. The Watch is called in, but even after a year they are no closer to catching what the populace has dubbed as The Bleeder. Unsure if it is even a man doing the killings and bowing to pressure from on high, the Watch Commanders have put the call out to any adventurers willing to assist them in the capture of the killer.

DESCRIPTION
At first glance this gem appears to be nothing more than a red garnet. Upon closer inspection however, a tiny sunburst sigil can be seen etched onto its leading facet.
Anyone holding a Dazzler can use it to cast flare at will as a Swift Action.
They can also be attached to a Shield by a skilled Armorsmith (DC 15 Craft check).
Shield activation is the same as if it were held. Multiple Dazzlers can be affixed to a Shield as long as a Craft check is made for each. If a check is failed by more than 5 there is a 50% chance the Dazzler is ruined.
Additional Dazzlers can be activated from a Shield in the same round, but activating more than two Dazzlers in such a way becomes a Standard Action. For each additional Dazzler activated, the -1 penalty from each Dazzled Condition stacks (although the duration remains the same).
The number of Dazzlers that can be attached to a Shield are as follows: Buckler/Klar 2; Light Shield 4; Heavy Shield 6; Tower Shield 10.
CONSTRUCTION Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, flare; Cost 500gp
This is what I am thinking, but some Official Clarrifications would certainly go along way to helping me out:
Dragon Type: Umbra
Energy Type: Negative
Breath Shape: 30'Cone of Negative Energy.
(Heals Undead, but damages everything else.)
Dragon Resistances: Negative Energy 3rd = 5/9th = 10.
(Is this even possible? This is a tricky one as I am not sure if there are any documented instances of Energy Resistances that aren't Elemental in nature, such as Fire, Lightning, Cold, etc... Can there be Negative Energy Resistance?)
What does everyone (especially Jason) think? Is this viable?
Woman in a plain grey skirt suit walks up to the door of a crappy looking house and knocks.
Door opens after a while to reveal a dirty guy with a beer belly standing there in boxers and a singlet. He scratches himself in the crotch and says "wada ya want".
The woman looks at him, offers him a flyer and says, "hi, I'm Pam Iomedae. May I ask your name sir? " "Name's Cal Cailean, what's it to ya?" "Are you a religious man sir? I'm here from the Church to ask you a few questions?"
The guy hocks up a loogy and spits it off to the side. "Only think I worship is beer and smokes luv."
A woman appears behind the man, dressed in a Red PVC Corset and Panties, with chunky heels. She is slipping on a black coat. As she passes the man, she holds out her hand and h reaches into his waistband and pulls out some notes, slipping them into her hand. She licks her lips seductively at the woman in the suit and walks off down the path. The amn gives a whistle as he wtches her go and says to Pam, "oooeee that Crystal Calistria is one fine piece 'o ass that's for sure."
Pam's mouth is opening and closing with a dumbfounded look on her face at this point.
Off behind the chain link fence to the back yard something can be heard running towards the pair. It hits the fence at full tilt and rebounds back. It is the ugliest looking dog you've ever see, the size a great dane but the face of a messed up bulldog. It immediately starts to bark and growl at Pam and she backs up a step.
"Shat the hell up Rovergug", yells Cal menacingly.
I was watching The Mummy Returns the other night and in it they were using a large (what I can only describe as a) Two-Bladed Sword. However both ends had what appeared to be Pendulum Blades on them instead of straight (or curved) blades.
I have done a quick google search, but other than a picture, I can't find any other information on this weapon. I am interested in using it as a weapon for an Osirioni Fighter, and wanted to know what it was called and whether it deserved it's own stats, or should I just use the generic stats for a Two-Bladed Sword?
