Actually the healers touch feat reads as follows.

"When you cast a healing spell to heal a target other than yourself, the spell is maximized as though using the Maximize Spell effect."

This does not in turn state you add the level of spell slot. As such as long as you are healing someone other than yourself the spell would be considered maximized at it's normal spell slot. IE: Cure light wounds would still take 1 spell slot and heal 8+caster level (cap 5).

So if you were a healer you might be VERY interested in this free maximize, plus the empower from the healer domain. 4th level spell slot for 39+2d8 (48 average) spell healing at 7th level.

So when I read the ability of the Two Handed Fighter for 7th level I find myself asking a couple questions. I know this may seem basic but I want to make sure I understand correctly for when I calculate damage using this ability.

1. When it states double your strength bonus to damage, does this mean double the base strength bonus or the two handed strength bonus. I will give an example of each (Cortez has a strength of 30 (+10 bonus) When he uses his greatsword his damage bonus is normally 2d6+15, should this in turn mean that his damage is now 2d6+20 (doubling only the base of strength) or 2d6+30 (which would be doubling his strength bonus as it would be swinging a two handed weapon)?

2. When you crit with a weapon using the backswing ability is the bonus damage based on your core strength bonus or the bonus as applied by backswing? I will also give examples of what I mean here. Let’s say Cortez is using a greatsword and has made it to level 20 YAY CORTEZ! This means that he specializes in a weapon, so he chooses greatsword. His crits are now at a x3 multiplier. So here is the math questions, if we go based on normal ruling his damage on a crit should be 6d6+45 (based on his 30 str). If we go by the basic idea of this ability it would be 6d6+60 (or 6d6+90). I know Pathfinder tried to remove doubling up on added bonuses. So does the bonus to damage from strength using backswing add to the crits bonus as well or only the base damage. Example of it only being on the base damage would be 6d6+45(base str)+5 from original bonus making the total 6d6+50.

I hope that wasn't too confusing!
