The time has come for the Dragon Watchers to carry their faith forward. The primal dragon-worshippers move south, into human lands, telling the primitive humans of the Storm Dragon, and his terrible, transformative power. For some, these strange, primal beings and their destructive, capricious god are terrifying, but some see in their own passion and violence, a reflection of Aninga's essence. Enough of them embrace the Dragon Watcher's cult that they form a powerful sect, and that sect founds Kota Badai, near the mouth of the river that empties into the Storm Dragon's Sea (south coast, facing all those little islands). Meanwhile, the stormlings sail their tall ships along the continent's southern coast, trading or pillaging according to their whims of the moment. For a game like this, I'd aim at a slow recruitment process. Accept good submissions as they appear and mix them in. It's entirely reasonable to have a bunch of gods in this age. I think it'll be interesting to see what the new gods make of the world, and of course, Aninga will wreak havoc where and whenever he can.

Create Race: Stormlings 6pts
Drawing on the power of the eternal storm that is his being, Aninga creates a race of creatures on his island home. They are humanoid in form, though they have dragonlike features and wings. They are infused with some of his power and his reckless, destructive energy. They harness the storm winds for their own purposes, and soar over the waves to beat back any who approach their island home, as though the storm itself weren't enough. When he sees his creation, he smiles, and shows them how to build giant, artificial wings, that they may fly across the waves in tall ships to discover the world. Stormlings: Total=10rp Native Outsiders (3rp) (includes Darkvision 60) Gliding Wings (3rp) Prerequisites: None. Benefit: Members of this race take no damage from falling (as if subject to a constant non-magical feather fall spell). While in midair, members of this race can move up to 5 feet in any horizontal direction for every 1 foot they fall, at a speed of 60 feet per round. A member of a race with gliding wings cannot gain height with these wings alone; it merely coasts in other directions as it falls. If subjected to a strong wind or any other effect that causes a creature with gliding wings to rise, it can take advantage of the updraft to increase the distance it can glide. Breeze Kissed (4rp) Benefit: Members of this race are surrounded by swirling winds, gaining a +2 racial bonus to AC against non-magical ranged attacks. They can calm or renew these winds as a swift action. Once per day, a member of this race can channel this wind into a single gust, making a bull rush or trip combat maneuver attempt against one creature within 30 feet. Doing so exhausts the user's breeze-kissed ability for 24 hours. This is a supernatural ability. Standard Ability Scores (+2 Dex, +2 Cha, -2 Wis) Languages: Common, Draconic

I hate to say it, but I think it might be just down to the three of us now. I would suggest that in future we skip initiative. Let people post their turn whenever they can, and then when everyone's posted a turn, move on. As it is, I've been sitting on my hands for several weeks.

Word reaches the island where storms never cease and the embodiment of nature's fury is born of a city rising in the west. The dragon takes wing and flies, battering the city with storms and displaying itself in all its terrible glory. Most until the storm's fury passes, and then rebuild and return to their lives. Some, though, find themselves touched by the power and beauty they have witnessed. They call themselves Dragon Watchers, and they live their lives quietly enough, except when the storm winds blow, when they can be found outdoors, communing with the power of their secret God. create order 8

From the depths of the jungle on the Island of Screaming Winds something begins to grow. With no sentient being to witness, the winds whirl tighter and faster, forming a massive tornado. It grows and tightens, until the walls of the tornado are virtually solid, and with a massive crash of thunder, it transforms. It grows arms with spearlike talons on the fingers, and a wolflike head with a mouth capable of swallowing an elephant whole, and lightning for a tail. The creature flies up through the black storm clouds, and looks out at the world, it's laughter screaming like the storm winds tearing through the mountains. It begins to fly northwest, towards the (as yet unnamed?) continent. So sorry for the delay, I was waiting in error. 10 points to create an avatar (in the form of a mega-dragon).

Aninga raises one last island, just to the east of the band of storms he created. It's mountainous and pounded by endless hurricanes. Between the constant wind and rain, and the frequent flash floods and lightning strikes, it is extremely rugged and barren except for a basin in the interior which is choked with a nearly impenetrable jungle, except for a lake at the center. 3 points to raise the island, 8 points to surround and engulf it with stormy tropical seas.

Aninga grins from the midst of his tempest and lends a hand to Kawliga, sending torrential monsoons at the headwaters of her river that will keep it full (and prone to erratic flooding ... oops). He turns his attention to the area east of the jungle, and his winds carve a trench there, a mile deep and a mile wide (and as long as an inch on the map is). His winds howl endlessly down the canyon, spawning tornadoes that lash the surrounding area. 3 points to dig a canyon, 2 points to create tornado alley and 2 points to create a monsoon. 1 point remaining.

It really just depends on the way the race shapes up. I certainly don't want to hijack anyone's race, but a sub-race is a possibility. Or, if the race builders are into having a streak of uncontrollable passion in their race, I could kick some in. Otherwise, I'm making storm dragons. A whole race of baby Aningas.

8pts -2 (stormy tundra) -2 (stormy mountains) -4 (stormy band between original continent and that suspicious rise in the South East) Aninga watches curiously as many of the other gods begin working on a project, creating tiny things that move and think for themselves. After a short time, he loses interest in the project and turns his attention to the landscape. Frozen winds howl out of the north, striking the Moonstruck plains at their western edge, pouring snow and ice down and scouring the tundra with storms, until they blow themselves out an inch into the plain. Beyond the Mistshroud Mountains, Aninga rages across the landscape, pummeling the mountains' eastern flank. Howling winds, snow and rain make the mountains nearly impassible. The largest of the southeastern islands rises out of the sea, and Aninga slashes a line through the sea between it and the main continent, raising a zone of massive waves and howling winds.

Aninga is likely to step in and wreak havoc with the race, possibly sowing the seeds of their destruction (or fall?) by infusing them with his stormy temperament. That, likely, would happen after they were created. Just as (in world building) he is less inclined to build something new than he is to take what is begun and add chaos, with races, he'll be more interested in creating stormy passions of rage and desire than in actually spawning a race of his own. I, as opposed to Aninga, very much care what you think about that though. It could happen to some, creating a sub race, or it could lead to the collapse of the first civilization, down the road.

Uncoiling himself as he awakens, black clouds spinning around him as lightning flickers along his form, the storm dragon looks out over the world and smiles at the calm. He dives down into the sea to the North East (off the coast of Orregr's jungle) he spins around himself and raises a tremendous typhoon. Small islands rise out of the ocean as the storm begins to batter the coast. (+1" of islands and stormy, tropical/monsoon weather=5 pts) Next he flies towards the center of the continent, where a harsh desert stretches across the land. He breathes a hot, dry wind, blowing sand east. The desert expands, but the new stretch is full of mazes of rock formed by the howling gales that blow endlessly, and the sky flashes with lightning.
If it's not too late, I would propose Aninga, the storm dragon. CN
The storm dragon is the embodiment of nature's fury. A remnant of the primordial chaos that refuses to succumb to the ordered world of the new gods, Aninga's power is greatest when the winds howl and black clouds turn noontime to night. Though highly destructive, Aninga is not particularly malicious, and those who stand against the storm and survive are more often the ones who receive his blessing. He also governs the most intense tempestuous passions of the sentient beings, though that aspect of his nature will not be as apparent at the start.

Round 7 So obviously I got a bit ahead of things, but I believe that the action has caught up to me by now. From what the map looks like, I think I should have got in an AoO on the critter attacking Aldiran. If not, np, but I will 5 foot step to stand beside Aric and flank the little bugger with Aldiran. AoO - Ignore this if I misread the map:
As the corpse shambles towards Aldiran, Aninga takes a swing with his morningstar. Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
If that drops the one on Aldiran, my regular attack will be against the one standing in front of the space recently vacated by Aric. If not, I'll be attacking Aldiran's again, at +2 for flanking. Aninga steps up to face the enemy, swinging his weapon at the creature before him. Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

I think that was me that got beat up, so... Aninga takes the creature's assault and attacks back. Save 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Aninga readys an action to clothesline the next one to stick his head out the door with a morningstar. attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
I'm starting to think Paizo has it in for me.
