The last thing I did with it was give it to Bay . . ..

I see no reason for Aric NOT to have it.

Word.... goody goody.

And Aninga it was for the best besides as a druid did you really want horse abusers to get away and warn their friends?

Triangle bits are evil.... its true....

As a druid, I'd probably be against it.

As an oracle, I'd probably be against it to, but those weren't no natural horses.

Fair enough....

If there's anything listed that somebody took or used but I don't have marked as such, PLEASE remind me!

If there's anything there that somebody wants but didn't take, LET ME KNOW so we can get that updated, too.

Any chance we could have a structured approach to combat? Something along the lines of:

Round X

Initiative Order:

- Dorvren
- Aldiran <- Still to act
- Aninga <- Still to act
- Bad guys
- Alric
- Grim
- Alex

For example, the above would mean that the GM gave the go ahead for comabt to begin, and will wait for all those that act before the bad guys to go. Also according to the above, Dorvren has acted, and the GM is waiting on Aldiran and Aninga's actions, so that he can put forth the bad guys actions.

This is only a rough draft one can refer to at any point in the combat to confirm who has acted, who has not, etc.

Thoughts?

Human(Ulfen) Barbarian(Armored Hulk) 2/Champion 1 (HP 43/43; AC:19, T:11, FF:18; Fort:+10 Ref:+2 Will +2; Init+1; Perc+6) (Effects: Mythic 5/5)

I think that is a good idea. I'm having a hard time determining when my turn is up.

Init +5 | Perc +7/9 | AC 13 / T 13 / FF 10 | HP 17 /21 | Saves F +2 / R +3 / W +4

I like your idea personally. We could each begin our posts with Rnd X to limit confusion as well.

Male Ulfen Human Ranger (Woodland Skirmisher) 2; HP24/24; AC17 T14 F13 CMD17; F+4 R+7 W+2; Perception+8+

A little organization is a good thing. Enough organization that people think they need to wait their turn to post will make combat far, far longer.

Dark Archive

I was thinking about doing that myself. I did it with the Hanging tree and should have do it here sooner sorry guys.

Waking up the whole place didn't actually hurt us much did it? At least I don't have that impression.

I think we took care of the house quite quickly, even with summoned creatures, and skeletons coming around the corner.

But I gotta tell you... This guys is a HARD challenge - he is single handedly disabling us all one by one :/

Dark Archive

It did it gave this guy time to buff and raise a few things and give orders.

And this guy hasn't been changed much from written. He already had the 2d6 channel and the scrolls. He just isn't primarily supposed to use it against you guys but on the zombies but he has been pushed into a corner. He also really is written as primarily wanting ti survive. And he know if he lets you guys go Grim and hunt him down and slay him from so far away he can't fight. So he needs you to let him go. But yeah by the book he is a third lvl cleric

Well I personally want to keep fighting, as soon as I'm done running away. Which should only be for this round(Grim you also should be coming back this turn). I'm also undamaged since he only channeled when I was out of range.

Dark Archive

You are fully healthy Alric and that's up to the group if they want to fight it out you can. But keep in mind another channel and its over for some of the party.

Yeah see its more a matter of you and grim getting to him out of range if the rest of the party.

Hello everyone,

I know the timing is not the best, but I wanted to let you all know that starting from today (still have a couple hundred Km to travel) I will be GMing at a Pathfinder Society Con over here in my neck of the woods.

This will last until Sunday evening, and even though I wil probably have access to my PC, I cannot guarantee any decent posting during this period.

Next Monday I will be back in business.

Cheers,

Aldiran

I am new at gming on these boards but have been a player in good standing here for over a year. I have recently lost my at home group due to scheduling conflicts and long term military deployments. So in that light I invite all who might be interested to apply here.

The must haves
Must be able to post once a day. I understand RL happens to us all but please try.

Must be courteous. Joking is fine but I have seen to many games die because people can't be nice to each other.

Those are really my only two must haves everything else well we can work that out.

Characters

Here's the deal I care far more about fluff than crunch. So before you bother working out all the crunch post a simple one to two paragraph concept. With that I want to know who your character is what makes them a hero? List a few goals for your character and a few fears. I wouwould like a minimum of two each but no more than five please. List three people your character knows one an ally, one neutral, and one a rival/enemy.

The crunch
No gunslingers, samurai, or ninja need apply. (Note if you can do the work to reflavor the class into something that fits I will consider Samurai and Ninja.)

Six characters will be choosen. 1 melee, 1 skill monkey, 1 arcane, 1 "healer" who can atleast put you back together, and two of whoever I think is awesome.
Races Any Pazio
Classes Any Pazio execpt as noted.
Traits two plus one campaign.
Bonus story feat but it must be worked into your background.

Abilities 4d6 drop the lowest rolled 7 times pick the best 6 if this gives you less than a 20 pb take the difference and spend it as you will.

Any questions? Did I miss something let me know feedback matters.

And one last thing thank you in advance for sharing your creations with me.

Edit retraining will be available down the line for certain things as they become available.

Hey there divineshadow - a quick couple of questions:

1) I GM a couple of Reign of Winter PbPs here on the boards... does that exclude me from consideration? (I can keep player and GM knowledge appropriately separate)

2) How do you feel about blood, guts and gore? - I have a concept for a follower of Kostchtchie that would need to be played as a fairly brutal CN to function properly.
I can provide a couple of long-running PbPs where I play CN characters as an example of my ability to make them non-disruptive if you'd like also.

Dark Archive

@Algar nice rolls

@Mark I have no problem with either. However it will depend on the other players vote as if the majority are not okay with it i have to xnay it. (I like fallout with the bloody mess perk)

Note same goes for romance subplots and such.... I like them but I know not everyone does.

Roger that divineshadow - I'll have some details for you later after I've had a chance to glance over the cliff notes and crystallize it into solid form.

He will be Ulfen, and unsurprisingly will be a Fighter with the Vikingr archetype.

How much starting wealth should we build with?

Grand Lodge

tks, yes indeed nice rolls

when you talk about bonus story feat, does it mean any feat ?

(like if i took extra revelation as the extra bonus story feat i would jut need to write something about the character being really favored by his mystery ?)

Dark Archive

Max gold but try not to sit on it. I will also allow crafting as well its only fair if you soend the skills but you will need to be able to make the item on a roll of 15 or better.

Also in retrospect I may bump the pb. Depending on if more people roll like Algar up there.

Dark Archive

No it means the new story feats from ultimate campaign. They are on the srd if you don't have the book.

And after adding up Algars 42 pb I will bump characters to 30... he should still get something nice for rolling well but him being twice what I have seen so far doesn't sit well. Besides after about third those rolls will blance out.

I've been trying to get into a RoW for a while, but keep missing the recruitments.

Last time I got in too late to get a good application up, but it was a Lame Lore-Oracle (Loracle?) Using childhood tales as his way of understanding the world, and wishing to go out and see all the fantastic things he's only heard of through stories.

Die Rolls:

4d6 - 3 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 4) - 3 = 12
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 1) - 1 = 14
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 4) - 2 = 12
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 5) - 1 = 10
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 1) - 1 = 8
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 6) - 1 = 11
4d6 - 3 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 3) - 3 = 12
Okay, 17 pt buy. I can make 1 of those 12's into a 14 and be generally average across the board.

Grand Lodge

got it tks DM

Dark Archive

Note there has been a change to miminimum pb it is now 30 enjoy.

Dark Archive

Sounds interesting Ardvark. Post up the fluff stuff I asked for and let me see.

In fact everyone still needs to do that. I would rather have your character rp concept than your crunch at this point.

This should be fun.

4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 3) = 8- 7
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 1) = 9- 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 5) = 17- 15
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 5) = 18- 16
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 6) = 20- 17
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3, 4) = 16- 13

Not too bad.

14d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 5) = 18 15
24d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 5) = 22 17
34d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 5, 4) = 17 14
44d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 3) = 14 13
54d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 3) = 10 9 (unused)
64d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 6) = 21 17
74d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3, 6) = 18 15

Nice rolls. It makes an idea I have very much possible.

The basic idea would be for a Neutral Idyllkin(Agathion born Aasimar) Monk (through Enlightened Warrior trait) who is devoted to Shei, Empyreal lord of self actualization. I'm not sold on archetype but both Wanderer and Sohei look very interesting.

Another option for the same character would be to build him as a Druid using at least the World Walker archetype.

EDIT: I could probably also keep the same thematic (wanderer in search of enlightenment) as a Sorcerer or an Oracle (plenty of those already though). The Sorcerer angle might actually be a very interesting one.

Dotting for interest. I'll try to come up with a concept before building, as requested. (Unfortunately, it's the character that takes me longer than the statblock...)

Grand Lodge

4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 4) = 17 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 1) = 7 = 6
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 3, 4) = 15 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3, 1) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 3) = 12 = 11
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 1, 6) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 4) = 20 = 16

I guess I'll be dropping the 6.

not too bad,

Sovereign Court

Cicero, where to begin? A gnome born into a cult, quick to succumb to madness, a fantastic lier. All the ingredients for a noble of Cheliax, too bad Cicero isn't a noble. Cicero left his family (not his beliefs or madness) to be a noble. Cicero left for Egorian in an attempt to make himself a long lost member of House Sarini. Under the name of Rodderick he made a name for himself in the smaller courts, until house Sarini saw through his disguise and ordered the imposter to be executed. (The murders he committed to get where he was didn't help) Luckily Cicero was skilled in the art of lies (and madness). Cicero caused two of the guards to run away in fear, one fainted of fright, and the others saw the little gnome simply disappear.

Cicero now lives in the outskirts of the Golarion, waiting to make his comeback.

Goals:
Cicero's main goal is to once again become a noble. He doesn't care what house where, he just likes lying on a daily basis.

Making people go crazy like himself.

Fears:
A knife in the back.

Babies. (He takes care to frighten them any chance he gets)

People standing to close to him.

He has paranoia so he is never comfortable with anyone.

(I am GMing a campaign of Reign of Winter but I am good about not meta gaming)

Cicero's rolls:
(I'm not sure how to get the green lettering but here is what I got)
1. 4d6 (2,4,2,4) 12
2. 4d6 (1,4,4,6) 15
3. 4d6 (6,1,2,5) 14
4. 4d6 (1,6,6,1) 14
5. 4d6 (1,6,6,4) 17
6. 4d6 (4,6,2,3) 15
7. 4d6 (2,5,2,1) 10 <---- dropping

Total of 39
I could live with that.

I woud like to throw my hat into the ring on this one - I have little to no Knowledge about Reign of Winter, which is a good thing in my opinion. I am interested in playing a healer/support character, most likely a Life Oracle or an Hospitaler Paladin.

4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 5) = 21-> 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 4) = 21-> 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6, 2) = 17-> 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 1, 3) = 10-> 9
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 2) = 9-> 7
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 4) = 21-> 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 5) = 17-> 14

DANG! Dropping the 7 I've got... 17, 17, 16, 15, 14, 9. Wow...

Sometimes I just can't help it, but I have kinda stopped delving into very immersive backgrounds for PbP -> It gets tough when you are involved with your character and then not selected, but in any case I have an idea in mind for this one.

I have no crunch at all yet, but am pondering the idea of attonement, which drives the character to travel away from more civilized lands to amend for something from his/her past. Regardless of being charismatic or not, he/she is troubled from what stems from before, and it has driven him/her to the role of protector, almost to an obessive point. This is the basis for his role as a healer/supporter - as soon as the bonds are established, he/she takes on the responsibility of keeping his/her "charges" alive.

Where the AP begins would probably be simply the last part of his/her travels so far, since even though only first level, I imagine him/her having served in the army somewhere, having lived a year in isolation, having banded with refugees for another - it is all about self knowledge and attonement as I said in the start.

I will develop it further, and are of course subject to change regarding the overall group composition - thoughts?

The rolls above lend themselves to the Hospitaler quite nicely for the stat distribution, and a role of Healer/Backup Melee, but then again they would fit nicely into almost any character :D

Any idea how long the recruitment will be running?

Forgot one-

4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 5) = 13- 12

Since I already see a couple of Oracle concepts around, I am pondering also a full support bard for this one - the backstory would still be consistent with what I said above. Planning a bard who is not all laugh and sunshine :D

Name: Bighead Inkyskin
Race: Goblin
Class: Wizard (Conjuration (Teleportation))
Alignment: TN
Background: Bighead Inkyskin was born into the goblin tribe of the Long-Necks. Most of the little green devils prided themselves on their very tall and very thin necks, often laughing and saying "Long-necks see tall-folks coming first!". Bighead unfortunately was born with almost no neck, but was gifted with an abnormally huge head (Balloon-Headed racial trait). While his mother was irritated and tried to eat him, Chief Dogtail had a brainwave. Bigger head. Bigger head meant bigger soul, and bigger brains. So, Chief Dogtail took the young nipper into his hut and taught him to read, figuring the boy would be able to learn more words than other goblins before his soul rotted. Time passed and Bighead grew into a powerful wizard with knowledge of many, many words. Lots of Long-Necks disliked and feared him for this, but he summoned fire a few times and slaughtered some tall-folks when they came with axes and that, coupled with poor goblin long-term memory, kept him safe and moderately popular. Dogtail, at Bighead's pleading, sent him out into the wide world to learn more words, on the condition that he would come back and teach them to chief when he was done.

Smarter than other goblins, Bighead had a different idea about his huge cranium. He decided that all souls were of equal size; but, with his big head, maybe he could fit two in there! So he made himself a soul from the words in the chief's books, which he stole from tall-legs, and used that to store and cast his magic words. After his first few months out of the village and among the tall-folks, Bighead's word-soul became even more different to his goblin-soul, developing its own tongue and thoughts. Good thing Bighead managed to keep control and switch between the two, otherwise he might not go to the great god Hadregash's side when he died.

Bighead has made his way to Irrisen to learn about the magics of ice and snow. Having come from a temperate region, he is intrigued by the newness and powers of the north.
Personality: Switches between two personalities, Goblin and Wizard. Former is loud, speaks pidgin-common and delights in fire and destruction. Latter speaks in smooth perfect common and rejoices in words and experiencing non-goblin culture. Happy-go-lucky
Trait: Adaptive Magic
Story Feat: Considering; maybe Dynasty Founder

Here is Cicero's profile, everything should be worked in.

Also Cicero's ally is his Mother Harstachk, she loves him even though he left the sanctuary.
His neutral would be a servant (Dremai) that worked for him while he was in the Sarini.
His enemy is the man who found him out, Count Lufyer Pegustin Sarini.

Cicero's appearance
Cicero is a 3 feet tall gnome and is slim. He looks youngish but no one can really tell. He wears the latest in Cheliaxian fashion with a top hat that includes a red ribbon on it. (There is a skull pendant on the ribbon) Cicero carries a cane for purely theatrical means, the cane has a wooden skull on the top. When Cicero has a crazy moment he paints a skull onto his face in an attempt to scare everyone away from himself. (A defense mechanism he developed from childhood)

Seeing as Cicero is insane I made a chart to see how he reacts in some situations.
1 Calm, 2 Odd, 3 Sociopathic, 4 Psychopathic
I simply roll a d4 and write his reaction.

Besides being crazy Cicero acts quite calmly when he is complete control.

in order to help our dm i have compiled the list a expressed characters

(i did not include those that just doted for interest)

Interested:

Algar Lysandris: magus or divine (oracle or druid) (but i can pretty much play anything)

Mark Sweetman: Fighter
Aardvark Barbarian: Oracle
Dorvren: Inquisitor of Brigh
Cuàn: Monk
Lecloront: Druid
GM Arkwright : Wizard
Aldiran Teldessar: Bard
Cicero Halungalom : Oracle of the Dark Tapestry

Taliesin had begun his time as the apprentice to Heldren's apothecary. He was taller than must half elves due to his northern ancestry from his father's side (of which he never knew. His mother refusing constantly to speak of him, but the only time she told him about their meeting, he could tell that they both loved each other.)

He always tough that alchemy was going to be the way of the future. That for those who were deprived of magical talents or a spiritual connection to the divine, it was the mean for pure advancement. And the possibilities was limitless. He had focus his own inclination on the study of the body. On the biology and the keys that would, one day he hoped, to enhance it in order to be able to create specific body enhancement.

Overall his life was good. He is part of a small community helping his former master as now a full fledged journeyman apothecary, providing a valuable service to Heldren. And all tough he has few friends as he spends most of his time working or researching, he does have some (aka any other party member from Heldren) He does socialize and party from time, to time and he is currently "dating" someone.
His current goal is to save enough money to be able to either buy the laboratory when his master retires, or move to a bigger city in order to access better "knowledge" facilities

Personality: nives has a soft spot for children and for those striving to make the best of situations beyond their control. Despite her otherwise serious demeanor Nives loves being dramatic. Se also recognize that some people must get the job done. And if it comes to getting it done by any means necessary and there are no other options then so be it.

Ten Minute Background

Part I - Core Concepts

1) taliesin is someone striving to balance a burning desire to become someone that matters, something more out of life and the desire for a peaceful and happy life

4) taliesin is a polyvalent individual, relying mostly on his impressive physical abilities and his magical energy. H

Part II - Goals

1) Taliesin long term goal is to obtain a position of power and wealth. Her secret goal is to be truly admired and accepted

2) Short term are making money to ensure the propers needs of his parents

Part III - Secrets

1) (Aware) his parents are hiding something from him (Northern ancestry campaign trait)

2) (Unaware) he had a twin brother that disappeared when they were babies

Part IV - People

1) his parents and a younger sister.

2) Vincent a childhood friend you left a few years to ago to try and become a paladin

3) Sara, current sweetheart

Part V - Memories and Mannerisms

1) Taliesin had once a run in in to a big fight. He was delivering a precious medicine in the grand city a week away from town. He lost the fight to a nasty men fighting with en Elven curve blade, called Jade the Necromancer. A human barbarian Alchemist type who was a lot better at swordplay then Taliesin. Jade had rigged a bombe type device to release some poison in a orphanage. Jade wanted to study the interaction of this poison of his and the creation of Alchemical undead (not tied to magic and Negative energy)

3) Taliesin meet Clarissa during that night as she is a sponsor of that orphanage.

4) Hurting Children is the one thing completely unforgivable to Taliesin. Adults have the tools (moral values, intelligence, education, cultures etc...) to understand that they are responsible for their actions, children aren't usually.

Part VI Fears

1) fear of snakes, for some unknown reason since he was a baby he was always fearful of them

2) Fear of not choosing a life where he will be happy

Theodric Milan is a middle aged minor Taldan noble. He grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth although his father did beat him from time to time. As a young man he went off to The Final Flourish, a dueling school in Opara where he learned the traditional Rondelero style of the Taldan Nobility. Bound to fits of rage Theodric was kicked out before graduating. When he returned home he found his parents had been killed in a carriage accident. Although angry Theodric buried his parents and went on with his life.

As the years went by Theodric occupied his time with the various social games of the Taldan nobility along with drinking and gambling. Over the last several years Theodric has been gambling more and more, finally culminating in the loss of his family estate.

Theodric's loyal butler prepared him a backpack as best he could before Theodric fled from his creditors with a new plan for life. He is currently hiding out from his creditors in Heldren but has realized that if he is to earn enough money to buy back his family estate he's going to need to look further abroad.

Little known to Theodric, his great grandmother was a half-orc, and it is that blood that fuels his anger, just as it fueled his father's. Theodric was always able to sport a fashionable noble beard, partly in thanks to his orcish heritage although he has promised himself to keep it shaved until he regains his family home.

People:
Ally: Vors, faithful butler and loyal servant. He is currently staying in Opara to help throw the creditors off Theodric's sent but hopes to rejoin his master soon.

Enemy: Iacobus Neverion, crime lord / loan shark. Theodric owes Iacobus a large sum of money and Iacobus isn't above hiring the more unseemly element to get it back.

Neutral: Adula Falcorious, dueling instructor. While she sees that Theodric has talent, his fits of rage drive her up the wall. While they parted on less than amiable terms they have both cooled off and even miss each other a bit.

I'll throw my hat in.

4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 5, 6) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 6) = 14 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 2) = 11 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 3, 1) = 9 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 4) = 10 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 2) = 9 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 2) = 12 = 10

Hah that's spectacular. So...

12, 13, 9, 8, 9, 10 is a total of ONE point buy. I think I'll play a divine archer paladin to Erastil. So using a 20 point buy I come up with:

14, 16, 12, 10, 8, 14 in order.

Background:

Name: Cervin Kelinson of Kurgess
Race: Human (Taldan)
Alignment: LG
Background:

Cervin was to a Taldan hunting family and grew up with a bow and arrow in his hands. The Verduran Forest is his original home, and he was raised within earshot of the gnomish settlement Wispil where his family conducted trade with the small folk.

However, although a skilled archer and brave in battle against the dangerous creatures of the wood, Cervin was headstrong, reckless, and a mediocre woodsman at best. His wanderlust and curiosity were also problematic as he would disappear for days at at time with no warning. After a dangerous tangle with an ettercap that almost lead to his sister's death, he bid his family farewell, promising to return.

It has been a year since Cervin left home to explore Taldor. During his travels, he met a priestess of Erastil in a small village, helping to rebuild it after a vicious bandit attack. He stayed with the village for months, befriending the priestess and slowly learning the ways of Old Deadeye.

Since then he has followed the calling of his God, travelling from place to place to help communities rebuild, give small sermons, and fight off dangerous foes. He has a deep, abiding love for Taldor and would happily wander just this ancient nation for the rest of his life. Most recently, he has found himself in the town of Heldren, and has been assisting the local priest of Erastil.

Personality:

Cervin is utterly dedicated to his God, having attuned himself to an entire faith which seems to fit his desire to wander and help others. He is headstrong, brave, kind, and can be appallingly foolish at times.

Appearance

Cervin is a small, nimble human man standing around 5'5 with shaggy brown hair and sharp, angular features.

Traits
Restless Wayfarer (knowledge geography, gnomish)
Armor Expert
Nomadic (survival)

Story Feat Explorer

Concept Cervin's concept is very rangery but I really want the personality and religious nature of a paladin. As well, I think the fish out of water feel of Reign of Winter will apply well to him because he knows and loves Taldor and has no interest in leaving.

Grand Lodge

Background:

Name Ancrym Wildspeaker of the Shriikirri-Quah tribe
Race Human (Shoanti)
Alignment Neutral Good
Background:
The once proud and mighty warriors of the Shoanti, used to roam the eastern side of Varisia until the colonizers of Cheliax drove them out a long time ago. With their ego and warlike attitude, they tend to not interact with other people, until today, even after years and years have passed. Among the more sociable ones are the Shriikirri-Quah clan. Together with the knowledge they gained by studying the animals around them they get to understand how nature works much better than the other clans which made them more adaptive to their lands. Ancrym's family decided to move far away from Varisia. They became nomads from the time being until they settled a few miles away from the town of Heldren. They survive by hunting for animals, planting crops native to the land and selling them to the merchants in the city. One day when he was on his way back to their home after a successful trip from the town. He found his entire family murdered. There's no evidence on who did it or why, only a single symbol. At first he thought it was the other clans that found them, but after careful investigation and with the help of the town elders, he knew it was done by the witches of the north. From there starts his journey to avenge his slain family and stop the madness of the winter witches.

Personality:
Always a caretaker, he always sees that the 'pack' is safe and taken care of before he thinks of himself. He always respects the way of nature. He won't get along with people who just kills animals or plants because it's fun.

Traits
Vigilante Witch Hunter
Reactionary
Beast bond

Fears
Fear of failing his oath wether to family or friends or allies
Fear being out of the circle of life - that's why he has outmost respect for nature

That's the fluff, if accepted I can easily do the crunch since I have a few templates saved up.

Dorvren is a hero because of his drive to end keep the oppressed free. He was born a slave and it was on a slave ship that his journey began. When the Witch Eilorn set the ship ablaze to gain revenge on the captain he like all the rest died. However, his body was pulled from the the sea by the Gnomish Inquisitor of Brigh Krisatra. Krisatra was granted the power to raise Dorvren by Brigh and taken under her wing.
Goals Destroy Evil Oppressors. He has a particular dislike of Witches. Though he worships Brigh he has never truly communed with him. He wishes to.
Fears Being oppressed again. He is frightened of Fire.
Ally Krisatra. The gnomish Inquistor of Brigh who pulled Dorvren from the water after the ship was sunk. It was her that he learned the ways of Brigh and from her that he learned the ways of the Witch Hunter.
Neutral Belmor. Human that inducted Dorvren into the “church” of Brigh. Presented him with his holy symbol and sent him on his first job, which brings him to Heldren
Eilorn The Witch that destroyed the ship that set Dorvren on his path. She is evil and to be killed, but there is a cold desire to kill her. It is not overwhelming.

Story Feat Arisen Thus his desire to finally hear Brigh for himself. Why was he brought back.

4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 1) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 6) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 1, 3) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 2) = 8
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 1, 1) = 7
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 5) = 20
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 4) = 17

Lets see what we can work with. Edit: 14 point buy so 20 point buy. But I've gotta come up with a good concept.

Good morning all will be catching up in just a bit.

Just to clarify if you roll and it doesn't equal a 30pb you don't make a 30pb you add points to what you have to make it equal to a 30pb

Thank you for this.

@Algar go ahead and whip up some crunch the only thing I see bad is in the personality section where it is using a different name.

@Cicero it is using dice expression for matting all rolls must be made on the board. Try {dice} 4d6 {/dice} but use [ ] instead of { } like 1d20 ⇒ 18 this. Also as this isnt a Way ot the Wicked I would like you to change your character to be a bit more party friendly. You are the hero after all. Brutality can have its place but your character seems like to fly off and murder the people your trying to save.

@Theodric I need fears and goals too please

@shadowyfox yes I did you may pad your roll up to that point if you didn't roll that high.

ok redoing my PB caus ei did it wrong, but repasting my rolls from above

4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 1, 1) = 8
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 6) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 3) = 7
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6, 6) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 3, 3) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 1) = 8 Dropping
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 5) = 13

23 pt buy currently

@arkwright same applies as to Cicero.

@cuan sounds very interesting.

@Aldiran so a bit of varissan flavor then?

@lecloront I also need some goals but looks good.

I will throw my hat into the ring also. I had an idea for an ulfen lore oracle developed for this AP but I see somebody already applied one. The oracle's curse plays a major part in this concept so I will stick with the class and try to work a different mystery for him.

Dice rolls:
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 4) = 10 9
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 3) = 11 9
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 3) = 15 14
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 3) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 4) = 17 13
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 2) = 14 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 5, 3) = 13 12

Damn, and thats why I hate rolling stats, lol.
Buff it up to a 30pb it would end like:
Str16, Dx09, Con15, Int12, Wis14, Cha 17

Sorry, missed a couple things in your original request. Here's what 30 points look like with my craptacular rolls:

4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 5, 6) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 6) = 14 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 2) = 11 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 3, 1) = 9 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 4) = 10 = 9
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 2) = 9 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 2) = 12 = 10

With 30 point buy...

14, 16, 14, 12, 8, 16

Goals: Cervin is driven by a love for his homeland, although he cares little for the history and politics of Taldor. He wants to see the sights, learn the land, help people, and revere his God.

Fears: Being a paladin Cervin is near-fearless in the face of danger. However he has a deep-seated anxiety about being trapped, caged, or separated from his beloved homeland.

@dorven your an ugly one aren't you? Or maybe just really inept socially like a certaint orc.

It seems I have developed somewhat of an obession for support characters lately, mainly bards :D

I have not put up the crunch on it yet, because I am still debating a few points regarding the assembled applications.

Am I looking at this wrong, or there isn't a dedicated healer in the house? On the same lines above, I am crunching a Life Oracle - not sure what is more needed at the moment, or if it matters ;)
