GM Netherpongo wrote: Amon Toph: I can't figure out where you are getting access to Ride the Waves as a Level 2 Spell. Drowned Channeler gives you access to the spell on your list, but only at the same spell level as the relevant Wizard/Cleric class and that's at Level 4 for Ride the Waves. Is there somewhere else you are getting it at a discounted spell level? Thanks GM! That's an excellent question, to which I really have no idea. I use Hero Lab and commonly trust it for this kind of thing, but I can't for the sake of me find how is it putting it as a level 2 spell. I can send you the portfolio file if you have Hero Lab, if it helps! My guess would be that Hero Lab is doing it because of some weird cleric domain or sorcerer bloodline that gives the spell at a lower level? I really don't know. I don't mind changing it for something else either, if we can't figure out what's going on. Both Amon and Enerphene (his Phantom) already have everything the spell provides, so I had it on my list mostly to buff my party mates. :)
Hi GM! It's Archlich here. I decided to abandon the Aquatic Elf Alchemist idea, and instead I built Amon :) Amon is an Undine as well (with the Mostly Human trait), and a Spiritualist with the Drowned Channeler archetype. He works as a healer and buffer, and I just feel he thematically hits all the right keys (hence why I wanted to submit him!). Please feel free to send me any questions or concerns. Cheers!
Approaching the moment! :) Lots of good applications already, but I believe we still have time to get a couple more.
Thanks GM! Civic duty is underway, and I feel Amon is already finished - as much as I keep looking here and there to tinker the story and crunch.
Keeping a close eye and my usual lurking here :) I like the submissions too, it’s looking quite promising so far, slowing down or not.
Archlich here with my Android Scavenger Investigator. I might be doing some tweaking here and there until the deadline, but the heart of it is here already. Thanks!
Hi DM and fellow players, here's Archlich with my submission. Amon is a halfling paladin of Iomedae, with a background of hardiness and forgiveness, willing to fill the role of a defender and loyal companion. Thanks for the consideration :)

Hey team! Sorry about the lack of updates - Paizo’s outage unfortunately was combined with some issues here at work and I’m having to put out some fires. I should go back to normal posting next week. Please feel free to bot me!
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
It was about the gremlins - just to show he at least know what they are, although doesn't have much more info.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
We have concordance on the terms. - says Amon, looking mechanically to both his ratfolk companions - Please, proceed with the inquiries. I believe all information you seek is relevant.
Amon didn't know enough about gremlins as Zimdoz, but considered enough for him - hoping the alchemist was going to share his knowledge later on.
It seems we lost our trapfinder. Maybe we should ping our wizard to see if he's still with us as well. Should we try to recruit someone else to replace Jade?
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Diplomacy: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (17) - 3 = 14
Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
That is definitely more agreeable. - says the Android, with an absolutely emotionless expression - Leupal: My designation is Amon Toph. We come in a mission of rescue.
Any knowledge checks to identify who we're talking to?
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon goes with Alldur as well, approaching Leetia.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon approaches Alldur, checking if he can somehow help. His ability with aerokinesis, however, is still not advanced enough to be able to move the mold with pure air.
Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Anything special about this mold?
If we can't recover the body, maybe we can at least bring news of his destiny back to the town. - says the android, without much emotion - We should probably check for anything useful, then move on.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon approaches the body to examine it.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
That's the intention with Amon, so if no one objects I'd like to collect it :) I also have the "Technologist" feat, and hope to invest on the Crafting feats as well (the skills I'm already training)
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon follows with the others. As they stop in front of the depicted figures, his eyes circle with curiosity, as if cataloging the images.
I agree with your assessment. - he finally says, towards Leetia - Perhaps we should continue, though. Maybe we're simply not seasoned enough.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon waited behind Leetia and Jade as they analysed the body. The android had difficulties feeling empathy, but he understood that maybe some sort of crime had been committed against that individual, and that people would want to investigate it.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Your suggestion is appropriate, Zimdoz. - says Amon, mechanically turning to go towards West first. Electric buzzing can be heard as he knees down to collect the items from the man's pouch - Please let me know if any of you request the use of any of these items. I'm archiving them for transport.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon hears the sounds of battle calming down, and the android lets his head bounce forward slowly as if auto-repairing.
If it wears off after an hour, that's a relief. The suggestion of waiting one hour seems relevant and agreeable, and I will comply.
He starts to wait for one hour.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon repeats his routine, hoping to connect his kinetic blade to the creature.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 Melee touch
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 17 Greater than 50 for hit
Unfortunately he misses yet again due to his blindness.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Melee touch
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 66 Greater than 50 for hit
Electricity crackles in a circle around 20 feet around Amon, forming again a blade of pure energy on his hands, that he uses to attack the space in front of him with the hopes of hitting their attacker. As much as it goes on the right direction, his own attack comes off and he misses.
Move to gather, standard to attack with kinetic blade.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Hey guys! Sorry I’m a little slow this week. I have intense activities at work until Thursday so it’s affecting my posting capabilities. I’ll normalize soon! Thanks for the understanding ;)
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Attack: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 3 - 4 = 5
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 13 Greater than 50
Amon tries to hurl an electric blast at the position where he hears the monster attacking from, but with no success. His blindness makes him terrible at this! Nevertheless, he doesn’t know he missed and moves towards the sound, hoping to help attack it in melee.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon just goes in full defense.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Let’s hope it’s not permanent, right! Dice gods had spoken.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Fortitude: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Amon doesn’t have time to avert his gaze either and the light seems too strong for his eyes.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Amon follows the others and examines the area they’re back to. Again some cracks of electricity pulse when he leaves the water, as if his powers were malfunctioning - but much more probable, he was simply still too inexperienced using them.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
The android repeats his previous routine, gathering power to form his kinetic blade and attack the remaining creature.
Attack (vs. Touch): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Electricity
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon moves his hands, and discharges of pure electricity form like a weapon - which he immediately swings against the creature in front of him.
Attack (vs. Touch): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Electricity
Move to gather power, standard to kinetic blade attack the one in front of me
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
One moment, associates. - says Amon, with his voice sounding more mechanical than he'd like - I noticed a bit of slithering on the past location we had been before moving here. I propose we go back to check to avoid being ambushed by something coming from behind.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon moves with the others, shaking his head with attention and curiosity towards everything. When they get to the part with the mold, he checks up and analyzes carefully.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Finished investigating the shallow creek, he swims along with the others, getting near the opening of the dark cavern and the small garden of toadstools. His darkvision immediately kicks in, as if his eyes suddenly switch lenses.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
I had to ask, anyway! I have to get used to these SR-countered blasts. Heh

Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
If one of then came to try to bite me, it provoked an AoO (I'm using a reach weapon - longspear).
Attack (AoO): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Longspear AoO before bettle comes to bite Amon
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Amon drops his longspear by his feet. As the weapon touches the floor, the hands of the aerokineticist get surrounded by electric sparks, which suddenly extend all over a range of 20 feet around him in a very loud way. The energy seems to concentrate on him for moment, and then he finally forms a long bladed weapon made of pure electricity that he swings at the beetle.
Free action to drop weapon, move action to gather power, standard to form kinetic blade and attack. If the bettle by me is already dead, then I'll instead five-foot-step (if possible) towards another one and attack. If there are none in my reach of 5-foot reach, then my action would be a little different (instead of dropping the spear, I'd move and attack with it).
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 Kinetic Blade - versus Touch AC. Please let me know if they have spell resistance
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 Electricity
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Sorry! I didn't notice it was my action :) Here it goes.
Amon looks and sees the fire beetles coming out from the sides of the cavern. The android coldly blinks his eyes, and when he reopens they're cracking electricity. Finally, he swings his arms and lets out what first looks like an energy ray, but finally turns into an electrical bolt blasting against the closest insect.
Attack (Electric Blast): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Against touch AC, but probably misses miserably anyway
Damage (Electricity): 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Right after he sees the blast flying, he moves to pull his longspear and point its towards the insects, hoping his enhanced reach can help him with an attack of opportunity in case they close to attack him.
Standard to electric blast, move to draw longspear
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Hey guys! Not sure if anyone is up for some pirating on the Shackles, but there's an open recruitment collecting applications for Skull & Shackles and I'm helping the GM :)
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon follows with the others. As he surfaces, the others can see a small multitude of electrical beams surrounding his body and making the circuits shine - but after a while he stabilizes again and seems fine. He helps looking around and understand the tracks, or if he knows anything about the large insects marks pointed by the others.
Knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
The android doesn't actually know much at all, but speaks nevertheless.
I'm not sure if we should try to climb it here without first understanding what these insects are, and where are they coming from. I'd hate to start climbing the ridge and be attacked by something flying.
Is the ridge only 5 feet tall? Is it possible to look around northeast to see where the waters are going to?
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
It seems like an interesting assessment. - says Amon, shaking his head in agreement - And it seems like a good place for starting the investigation.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon sticks to his silence at this point, accumulating the information being exchanged and processing the best he can. For a moment his eyes cross the room, examining each person as if trying to access the chances of surviving the described dangers.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Don't worry, mate! Play whatever you'd like and we'll manage. I think the group is already solid. With the kinetic blade I can also do some things in melee, so I think we'll be good. I was mostly pointing out we don't have a full BAB class or anyone with truly solid AC.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
We don’t actually have a front liner! Some of us might survive melee, but overall the group is fairly squishy. We definitely compensate on other fronts though.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
It sounds agreeable. - says Amon, signing up for the quest - You may call me Amon, and this is Jade. - he then completes, indicating the Oread by him.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon artificially smiled to Jade, trying to show some sort of emotion but failing miserably. He then extends his hand, giving passage to go meet Dolga.
Now inside, on the back, Amon hears everything, not particularly shocked with the presence of the two ratfolk. The android isn’t someone of many words; and, for some people, he is barely something. Regardless, he pays attention
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
... Same goes for me. - says Amon, awkwardly, completing Jade - Glad to make your acquaintance. I’m designated Amon Toph.
He was probably the most socially troubled individual around, but also was practical and straight to the point.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
I think our party is cool as hell! Hoping this game can go far. By level 9 I wanted to be able to craft cybertech hehe.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
We're probably the strangest party ever! And I didn't even see our fifth member yet, but so far... Oread, Android and two Ratfolk. Wow. :)
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
Amon arrives at the city with a grim expression. The violet flame had burnt out, and the robot hunter android took it as a bad omen. Worse, though, was the disappearance of one of the town's councilors. The reward was fairly welcome, though, so he hastily sought the council at the Town Hall to hopefully join a group to find Khonnir.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
The Gunslinger archetype that can use technological guns seems awesome. I almost went that route, but when I saw you wanted to go for gunslinger later, I decided for a different concept.
Male Undine (Mostly Human) Spiritualist (Drowned Channeler) 7
I got the Technologist feat and Enginnering, but I don’t mind if you do the same.
