About Amanda Leigh
- Appearance -
A beautiful and gregarious traveler from Kintargo, Amanda is armored in a deep carmine quilted hauberk bespeckled in decorative glass. The numerous layers of her long skirt compliment the top with soft blues, purples, and pinks. She carries extravagant art piece atop her a standard of cherry wood, which hides the weapon of The Eternal Rose. A lithe jungle leopard follows Amanda closely, fire dancing across the its spotted coat.
- Backstory -
Raised near the temple of Shelyn in Chelish Kintargo's Temple Hill district, Amanda was always drawn to art, particularly music. When Barzillai Thrune became lord-mayor of the Chelish city, the twelve-year old Varisian girl decided she would not flee town with her mother, instead becoming a Redroof urchin. Once the Thrune regime was finally overcome, and it seemed Amanda's mother was not returning to the Silver City, Amanda finally returned to Songbird Hall.
Although she was quite young, Amanda quickly grew into a dedicated Shelynite. After years of leading the Hall's choir, the clergy encouraged Amanda to take up the life of a pilgrim to spread her song across Golarion.
Life on the road was lonely for Amanda, eventually leading her to develop an act for the traveling Circus of Wayward Wonders. Although her act would not last, Amanda's encounter with another performer who didn't quite belong in the circus became a lifelong friendship instead.
Candy—a Mwangi leopard—was imprisoned and abused by an orc alchemist whose coat was infused with flames similar to an alchemical fire. Thankfully, a kind adventurer rescued the experimental feline, and delivered her to the compassionate owners of the Wayward Wonders. Like Amanda, Candy was a unique attraction that did not quite fit well with the other acts. The two parted with the circus on good terms, setting out for Absalom to find new adventures with the Radiant Oath.
