I was going to put this unter "Rules Questions", but I noticed that it's mostly just me ranting, so I'm posting it here instead…

Let's assume I have the improved version of the Wasp Familiar (either by being a 5th level caster with a regular familiar who took that feat, or by being a 7th level level character who took it twice).

The feat says to "use the statistics for an imp, but replace the invisibility spell-like ability with an unnatural lust (DC 14) spell-like ability usable three times per day."
The unnatural lust part is easy. But the "use the statistics for an imp" is… weird.

Let's compare: Here's the Imp
Is this wasp an outsider with the devil subtype? Because the imp is. (Magical Beast (Chaotic) could work, though.)
Also, I hope they don't mean alignment, because lawful evil doesn't suit Calistria's servant. (Same about the alignment subtypes, which should be Chaotic, if anything.)
It also has damage resistance "good or silver" - again marking it as lawful evil (chaotic creatures usually have their DR bypassed by Cold Iron, so "lawful or cold iron" would be appropriate).
And Calistria's servitor outsiders are usually immune against diseases, and resistant/immune to electricity. (Immunity to poison fits, though.)

Basically… the resulting stats would be a thematic mess.

I've read the item description of the Amulet of Euphoric Healing, the Addiction rules, and had a look at the drugs for comparison, and…
I'm not sure I get it?

My impression is that if I heal someone (and they accept the healing, rather than making a saving throw to resist), they're also automatically affected by the "Euphoric Healing" drug, which instantly imposes a –2 penalty against all mind-affecting spells cast by the amulet’s wearer for 24 hours, and does 1 Wis damage.
In addition, they have to succeed at a DC 13 fort-save, or gain a minor addiction, which would case them to gain a –2 penalty to Con after going a day without "Euphoric Healing".

Did I get this right, or are there any glaring mistakes? Mainly, I'm wondering if the penalty on saving throws (and the wis-damage) only triggers after a failed fort-save, or if it's automatic.

Thanks in advance to everyone helping me to make sense of this.

Two questions:

1) Does Spell Perfection allow a Partial Caster (an Enigma Mesmerist, to be precise) to add, for example, Quicken Spell Metamagic to a 3rd grade spell (turning it into the equivalent of a 7th grade spell, which a Mesmerist usually can't cast)? My GM thinks not, but that's because he thinks that RAW doesn't allow it. If I can convince him that it's fine by RAW, he'd probably allow it. If there was ever a developer comment on the matter, it would be ideal.

2) If I can't convince him and am limited to metamagic that I could still theoretically cast, would Spell Perfection still be worth it? (I'm planning on putting it on Shadow Enchantment.)
