Being new to the paizo forums, I am finding the RPG Superstar contest very exciting. I am sure it is partially due to my husband being in the top 32, but it is also because I feel as if I am learning a lot. My Dad and uncles played D&D when I was little and my Dad also tried to run a campaign for us when we were little, but I really didn't get reintroduced to it until my husband and I got together. He is now running a Dragonlance campaign for me, my 10-yo daughter, and 5.5-yo son.
Reading all of the top 32 items and their critiques has been really fun! It has gotten me really excited to do more on the campaign this weekend with the kids (though, personally, I am hoping my daughter never finds my husband's item since her turns are already sooo long with having a familiar and summoning ANOTHER animal). I am also just dying to see what kinds of monsters will be revealed at 4PM here.
Looking forward to poking around the forums and learning even more...
