One of my fellow pathfinders members told me tgat I could buy some items to add certin skills for day job. Which items are these? thank you

im new to pathfinder and someone recommend me to get a longbow master work. i read up on it and it has to be crafted. but some people say you can buy it instead of crafting it. But who is right? im a lvl 2 bard

i just turned lvl 2 on my bard and i was wondering does my ability scores increase as well. Also sorry for bothering but im new to RPG and the Gm told me i could buy item with prestige. i have 6. im a long range/support. currently have studded leather and a short bow. is there anything i can buy with the prestige i have or gold?
