About Ahote TakodaOn the Storval Plateau at the foot of the Kodar mountains in northern Varisia Ahote Takoda 'Spear Cutter' was born into the Tamiir-Quah (Wind Clan). When Ahote was a young man a deadly plague killed his parents and many of his tribesman. The tribal medicine men could do little and many more died. Just when all seemed to be lost the Paracountess Zarta Dralneen of Cheliax and her entourage of soldiers and slaves came and offered a cure. The cost: a dozen of the tribes young warriors to be her slaves. The Tribal Chief reluctantly accepted the deal and Zarta's clerics cured the tribe of the plague. Ahote was among those unfortunate souls sold into slavery. A few of the new slaves died on the journey back to Cheliax, some she sold to the highest bidder. Others were 'training' aids for her men. Ahote survived one of these bouts, killing the soldier. The other swordsmen wanted him dead but Zarta saw potential and had something else in store for him. Ahote anticipated murders, thievery, deception and other unhonourable things under the banner of Cheliax. When Zarta explained that he would infiltrate the Pathfinder Society he knew it would be all that and more... Ahote excelled at all things physical but barely passed the academic trials of basic Pathfinder training. When he did fail the Paracountess would meet with the professor in question and resolve the situation 'informally'. Ahote reluctantly accepted his fate at the hands of Cheliax and routinely directed his frustrations towards any who would threaten him or his comrades. After a nearly a decade of slavery to Cheliax Ahote had been given his freedom. Zarta no longer wanted the noble savage in her company and had released him from her service. Most think this was a wise decision for the Paracountess. The Wind Clan warrior has survived over a hundred battles. Years of fighting demons, devils, dragons, angels, mammoths, elementals, dinosaurs, ghosts, ghouls, vampires and even the Runelord of Sloth himself has finally earned him accolade. Ahote was promoted to the rank of Seeker within the Society. Ahote stands six and a half feet tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He hates wearing armor of any sort and carries KILLAMAJIG! a large, thick and heavy magical adamantine greatsword on his back. His right hand sports a tooth and claw covered cestus, his left a leather finger-less locked gauntlet. On his right hip he carries a pouch of razor sharp chakram, his left hip a pouch filled with bolas. Around his neck he has a heavy chain with a platinum medallion with many fetishes, tokens, trinkets, bones, claws and feathers attached to it. He wears large heavy fur topped mukluks and a kilt/loin cloth made from Green Dragonhide. Ahote has over a half dozen Ioun Stones implanted in random places on his torso. Ahote underwent an evil ritual that turned his skin into living gold. This also rendered him completely hairless. Ahote's tattoos appear now as engravings on his skin. During Ahote's recent adventure in the Mana Wastes he became infected with the Mana Wastes Mutation. This strange disease reanimated Ahote's long dormant parasitic twin; Tohote. The twin manifested as a second head on Ahote's shoulder. When they returned to the Grand Lodge the Venture-Captains were shocked by such an abomination and devised a plan to separate the two. Powerful necromantic magics were used in an elaborate ritual that took several hours at the end of which Ahote and Tohote were safely (yet painfully) separated. Tohote's head had a heightened regeneration spell cast upon it at the moment of separation, instantly giving him a body of his own. Tohote was offered membership with the Pathfinder Society in order to repay the expensive spell costs. http://paizo.com/people/TohoteOfAhote BUILD:
