this is probbably a long dead horse, but I just came across it recently:

according to the armor description, armor for small creatures weighs 1/2 of that for medium creatures (double for Large)

the clothing description in the equipment section has the factor for the clothing kits at 1/4

a*a=A
0,5a*0,5a=0,25A

with the same thickness of material this results in a quarter the weight

so if half the weight is supposed to be the rule it would mean double the thickness of medium armor for small creatures armor

by the same logic the armor would get thinner for larger than Medium creatures with the current set of rules

what is the story behind this?
is it just sloppy math by the designers and lazy reviewers along the editions?

looking for a pathfinder playing group in Hamburg Germany
starting around May

preferrably as Rogue

any chance for one from Paizo?

fully searchable and indexed, bookmark folder etc.

the improved quality reduces the Armor Check Penalty presumably because it is easier to move in the Masterwork Armor than in the Standard Armor.

on the same grounds...
why is the Arcane Spell Failure Chance not also reduced? (though I don't see the reduction stick with shields dangling on the casters arm)
An increase of the Maximum Dex Bonus by 1 would also be logical.

With the feats Arcane Armor Training and Arcane Armor Mastery available there are already ways to get an Arcane Spell Failure Chance of 0 with certain types of armor, so it wouldn't really be abusing the system.

I can't even find a discussion on this, is everyone so happy that there aren't any? (or am I just lousy with the search function)

so why are there no Multi Classing penalties?
With the new skill point system there is hardly any penalty for taking one or two levels of whatever gives a major advantage.

One level Wizard with focus on Conjuration = +2 to AC and Acid Dart as Standard action (Ranged Touch Sneak Attack), which Rouge wouldn't want it?

this looks too good to be true.

why is "disabled" still at 0 HP?
I'm surprised this has not been changed.

the RPG motivators at llbbl dispict the absurdity quite well:

Housecats: "watch out, I can kill a 1st level commmoner!"
http://llbbl.com/data/RPG-motivational/target33.html
&
Hit Points: "anything more than 0 means I'm ready for action, baby!"
http://llbbl.com/data/RPG-motivational/target90.html

so why not lift it up to 10+ Class HD
let the disabled status start at
+10 minus Con modifier, be disabled till
0 minus Con modifier, death at
-10 minus Con modifier

the tougher you are the longer you can keep going
