Agatha spits on the ground, but apart from that keeps her peace.
it wasn't worth their time to continue this, but intervening would likely prolong the issue. Best to lance the boil.

As the group moves away, Agatha says Elf, you should not be so abrupt with people. It is not always advantageous.

She grins toothily.

You should leave that sort of thing to orcs. We are better at it. Everyone always expects the worse of us. And you might break a nail. That would be terrible

Her familiar monkey cackles at the comment.

Take my Agatha character. She has talked about breaking limbs, and so on, but she was simply teasing Javor a bit. She would not actually do that intentionally, and she isn't that strong anyway.

Perhaps we can see this as a lesson learned, and we can avoid similar in the future. We should remember that this is a game, and enjoyment is key here. If something makes you uncomfortable, then we change course.

A lot of law in the 13th to 17th centuries was a fair bit hit and miss. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. It really depended on the ruler and his officials.
Look up the hanging judge in England under James II. Corrupt as sin, and would take bribes to acquit, then hang them anyway.
Also policing as we know it really didn't turn up until the 19th century

Agatha for the first time seems to really pay attention to Javor. She stars at him coldly, long enough to make him uncomfortable. Then she smiles. This is the first time you have seen that, and it is...unnerving.
She says I like you human. You are funny. But a shield is not useful against what I have. As for breaking bones, no promises are made.
Then she turns away. It would be interesting to see how he reacts.

And my first roll in combat was a crit. A good omen.

Agatha is a rather by the book person, and she has little room for compromise. But she can be persuaded to be more lenient if someone thinks she is a bit harsh.
She is a letter of the law cop.

Agatha looks at the loudmouth Officer, says Uhuh and nods. She starts leaving. No need for information. Go to the Inn, subdue the malcontents, keep the peace. Baton work, maybe a spell or two. The orders were simple enough. Oh and no killing.

It was like her tribe. Results matter, not the intent. The thought of her tribe, now long destroyed, saddens her for a moment. There is a concerned meep from her pouch. Agatha pushed the sadness down to deal with later.

It did remind her of her epitaph. The Survivor. It was a sort of curse.

As Agatha stands to respond to the summons, she feels a string in the large pouch she carries. An inquisitive face pokes out She pats the head gently, and it emerges, climbing onto her shoulder. It is a small monkey. Scratching its head as she walks. It seems to whisper in her ear. She murmurs to it in Orcish

It snickers at that, then returns to the pouch

Agatha looks at the man now seated beside her. Hmm. Varisian. Possible criminal background. Still...is companion now.

Agatha clears her throat.

Then she adds

Agatha enters and looks about her. This is where they sent her. The chief was not happy about the way she had dealt with the giant woman. Breaking her kneecap seemed like a good solution at the time, but the fall into the jewellery store wasn't part of the optimal results. And then her master (a rather important and annoying wizard complained about the harm to her apprentice (the giant woman) saying that the spell would have worn off in a minute or two. Maybe three. Ten at the outside.
The Chief told her that they had to transfer her for now. Which sounded temporary but likely wasn't.

Sighing she weighed up her new companions. Too Noisy by far.

She quietly sits.
