Born in the town of Brimstone Springs, a small town in the Mindspin Mountains known for its tourist-attracting golden pools, Aeliexes had a loving family and commonly witnessed those who had bathed in the pools of Brimstone Springs.

Ever since he was a teenager, he could sense the corruption of evil lurking in the pools, each person who bore stained golden skin also bore a stained soul, unbeknownst to themselves.

When he grew older, he warned tourists not to bathe in the pools, but they dismissed him as a crazy old man, but he kept trying, warning those of the peril they faced. That was, until, he was banished from the town of Brimstone Springs. He heavily sobbed that night, knowing that he could no longer safely help.

Aeliexes took to the forest, meditating to Erastil and mastering the art of the bow. He started to move up into the mountains, where maybe he could find a new life for himself and help others. He was gifted a bow by a wandering stone giant who decided to stay with him for a few days.

The bow was of fine craft, made of elk antlers, and contained the following phrase carved in giantish:

This bow proved to be handy, as just as he had finished down the mountains into the forest of the Nirmathas, he was ambushed by a group of thugs. Caught by suprise, he was stabbed severly in his throat. He elbowed the assailant and shot twice, and the thug dropped dead. The rest threw rocks and fled.
Gasping for air, he continued on, clutching the wound with his shaky hands.

Finally, after several days, he had arrived at a small village: Phaendar. He stumbled and passed out at the gates due to loss of blood. He was dragged inside and brought to the home of Pallicea Starbrow, an Aasimarian Hunter of Erastil. There, he was nursed back to health, leaving a nasty scar on his throat.

Aeliexes took a vow of truth, promising to never mislead others in hopes of being able to convince others to avoid the pools of Brimstone Springs. He is very honorable, but is bad at social skills, probably the cause leading to his banishment. He hates fiends, particularly ones who deal with unknowing mortals.
He has admiration for stone giants, seeing as the bow he was gifted saved his life.
