Background:

Aelakoress Shriraryn, or Akor to his friends, was born in 610 DR, to a minor noble house of Myth Drannor. Growing up in the idyllic city, even though it was on the decline, Akor was afforded some of the very best teachers. He leaned heavily towards martial combat, particularly guerrilla warfare and ambush tactics.

As he got older, though still a young adult by elven standards, Akor began to spend time among the temples and shrines to the Seldarine, with particular interest in the chief deity of his people, Corellon Larethian. While he wasn’t able to actually harness the powers of the divine, he was able to tap into the powers of nature.

Combining both blade and bow as well as naturalistic maigks, Aelakoress rose through the ranks of the Cormanthyr army, and eventually achieved the rank of Ranger-General. So it was that he was on the front lines when the Nefarious Trio attacked, and due to his position as a leader, was a target for those mighty fiends.

Taking the battle to the foul daemons, Akor felled many of their number, before coming face to face with Narzareb, an incredibly powerful sorcerer. The two fought back and forth, but the elf was no match for his opponent, who trapped him body and soul within a desecrated diamond.
Hundreds of years passed, and Aelakoress' soul grew weak and feeble. Then, an unexpected surge of drow magick, clashing with the power of the mythals within Myth Drannor, shattered Akor's prison, freeing the former general. Incredibly weakened, he stumbled through the city, and into the forest, eventually making his way to Tangled Trees, where priestess of Sehanine Moonbow took him in. Years passed as he recovered his strength under their tender care, but no matter what remedies they tried, Akor remained a shell of his former self.

While out on a patrol one day, he ran afoul of some drow who were likewise doing the same. Engaging in a sort of running battle, Akor was able to use the terrain to his advantage, but wasn’t able to actually defeat. The dark elves were eventually able to pin him down, when suddenly he stumbled through a dormant elf gate, depositing him in a small clearing.

He eventually made his way to a small Wild Elf settlement, he discovered he landed in the High Forest, on the other side of the continent. Unsure what to do now, being so incredibly far away from his home, he’s working on fitting in among a people that are similar, yet so very different from his own.
