I am still running Hell's Rebels at the moment, slowly putting my Tyrant's Grasp campaign with a launch date of August this year looming.

With TG being the last of the 1e APs there wasn't a lot of third-party support (such as Syrinscape, Roll20 and such). All of that to ask this:

Has anyone that has ran the adventure path put together a sound set in Syrinscape for this AP, or has suggestions for me to use?

Thanks!

Straight to the point: Can Dwarven War-shields benefit from shield feats, specifically feats that affect light shields? Or, because they are weapons you are getting the items as weapons primarily, with the shield AC benefit a bonus special effect?

Thanks!

I am in need of a bit of clarification if someone would be so kind. Firstly is the Bard Masterpiece I am referring to:

__________________________________________________________________

Song of Sarkoris (Oratory, Sing)
Source Blood of the Ancients pg. 31
You recite inspirational lines from this epic poem commemorating the final stand at Storasta, keeping defiance alive even in the face of certain death.

Prerequisite: Perform (oratory) or Perform (sing) 10 ranks.

Cost: Feat or 4th-level bard spell known.

Effect: When you complete the performance, all allies within 30 feet gain an attack of opportunity when reduced to negative hit points, or whenever a foe deals hit point damage equal to or greater than its Hit Dice, for the duration of the performance. The attack of opportunity can be made against any enemy within reach; it does not have to be against the source of the damage, and does not count toward your allies’ maximum attacks of opportunity per round. This attack of opportunity is resolved prior to the enemy’s attack, but the triggering attack is still resolved even if the enemy is killed or incapacitated.

Use: 2 bardic performance rounds per round.

Action: 1 full round.

___________________________________________________________________

My initial question arises from the action economy line. It states "1 full round". Is that meant to be a "full round action", or a "1 round action". Does the Bard start the performance and on the end of her turn it begins or does it not begin until the beginning of her next turn?

Further more, if a character that is affected by this Masterpiece is attacked by four creatures and they all do more than the character's HD that character gets an attack of opportunity on all four or is it meant to be once per round? This seems extremely powerful if it is the former. I know it states "whenever a foe deals..." it just boggles my feeble mind is all.

The wording also contradicts itself.

"When you complete the performance" implies the performance ends, yet it gives you a usage cost of "2 bardic performance rounds per round".

Any help understanding this would be wonderful.

It feels as if my table is running through the adventure path at breakneck speed. In-game time is.

We play Sundays for 5 hours, your standard holiday, and crisis breaks notwithstanding. We are 18 months table time invested.

In-game, it has now been three months since the Night of Ashes, and the Ravens have survived the Ruby Massacre.

A lot has happened. We've followed the books suggestion fairly well, with quick layovers in Vyre and with the Acisazi tribe.

How long in-game have others taken to get as far? How long did it take to finish the story in general?

Thx

With a title like that... anyone want to hazard a guess as to what my question is?

We are looking at building a Kensai Magus. One of the thoughts is to go down the Slashing Grace route. The player in my game wants to use an Elven Thornblade. Since the Thornblade is already P/S (already has the ability to do Piercing damage), does it qualify for this feat?

I am of the belief that a main part of this feat is to allow a weapon that cannot do Piercing damage to be able to do such, AND allows you to apply DEX to damage as a side effect.

Any help?

Please and thank you!

We have a party in a Strange Aeons campaign that has fallen on hard times after a fight with the random Spectre encounter.

They are trying to be creative in spell and alchemical applications to gain as large of a bonus as they can for their negative level saves the next morning.

The question:

Since Protection from Evil grants you +2 vs attacks and effects created by evil creatures, can they cast Protection from Evil the next morning before the save?

In addition:

If an evil Nagaji spits his venom at a character under the Protection from Evil spell do they get the +2 save because the creature happens to be evil?
Thanks.

Greetings all,

My two friends and I are wanting to start either the Hell's Rebels or Strange Aeons Adventure Path "soon".

We are planning on running weekly, or as close to weekly as our schedules permit, on Saturdays. We are casual players that have played for a number of years.

We are actively looking for two players to join us, with one female player preferable as we have found having the smarter sex at the table lends itself to more creativity!

The party makeup at the moment, if it can be called such, is:

1- Shaman, Samasaran (female character)
2- Unchained Rogue, or Wizard, Elf probably (male character)
3-
4-
5-

Please respond with questions and such to this thread as I do not use the PM system on the site.

Thanks for taking the time to read and consider!
