Jakob

I think he's pretty much done. There might be something I'm missing; there always seems to be something, but for the most part, that's pretty much it.

Character Concept:

Robert is an ex-military archeologist. He knows how to command a room and troops, as well as lead common workers. He is outgoing and adventurous and a little to reliant on his luck. Robert is a defender standing up against bullies both local and on a world stage. He loves to collect new found things, especially if the pertain to Tyche his patron goddess. He is quick to make friends, but not quick to have deep trust. With quick reflexes and a big personality he makes his way through combats as a leader by example and command. Quick to the draw he favors a pistol to other firearms as it feels more natural in his hand. He is both a relic hunter by choice and a veteran and protector by circumstance.

Backstory:

Robert was born to the 4th Duke of Wellington, Lord Arthur Wellesley, as his 7th child and 4th son, in 1895. Growing up amongst his family and other members of the peerage he quickly learned his way around social gatherings especially, learning the ins and outs of high society. As he grew he watched his father and Brothers with pride and wanted to follow in there footsteps. He schooled at Eton, from which he graduated in 1913 and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards. In 1914 when the Great War started, Robert was promoted to temporary Lieutenant in charge of a platoon in the infantry under Major Elliott Grenshaw. Throughout 1914-15 Robert Served as leader as his platoon without losing any men, narrowly avoiding death sometimes but somehow always pulling it off by the skin of his teeth, gaining the nickname Lieutenant Horseshoe. He was permanently promoted to lieutenant and temporarily promoted to captain serving as second in command to Major Grenshaw. Grenshaw took Robert under his wing to teach him how to command larger companies in actual combat situations. In 1916 Major Grenshaws company participated in the Battle of Sommes. Upon successfully helping lead his company to safety and through their offensives with seemingly supernatural capabilities and feats of daring in some instances. Major Grenshaw took some shrapnel to the leg and Robert was permanently promoted to Captain and Temporarily promoted to Major, taking over the Company temporarily. Leading His company, with his second, Captain Richard Pithard, through the 100 day Offensive with minimal casualties due to a lucky break from an artillery strike, he gained the permanent rank of Major and retained command of the company until the German surrender. After ww1 he sent to support during the Russian civil war before being recalled to participate in the anglo-irish war to help quell the irish uprising; in both of which he kept up his streak of luck to keep his company alive. From then on he joined a few more military operations before deciding to retire from active military, staying as a reservist in the territorial army, in 1925. Starting in the new semester Robert enrolled at Cambridge University to study archeology. During his studies at Cambridge he discovered a love for Ancient Greece and made friends outside the military for the first time in his adult life, One being his best friend George Turling. After completing his course in 1930 he began his first trek into Greece in search of what could be possible historic sites. He stumbled into what appeared to be no more than a cave but quickly discovered what looked to be a small personal shrine to the goddess Tyche. He touched an idol in the likeness of her and gained what seemed to be a vision of the mystical, of things that felt familiar to him, yet so foreign at the same time. Brushing it off as fatigue from the hike to the location he quickly marked the his the cave and wrote his route on a map, he left with what artifacts he could fit in his backpack. He returned to get help from his friends and to make a call to his father to see if he could secure funds to rent the necessary equipment for the expedition. A month later he secured the equipment and the help he successfully excavated the shrine within 4 months and made his first publication in the Archeological world. In 1932 he joined the excavation in Athens briefly finding the initial start of the Stoa of Zeus Eleutherios. He spent the season on this dig and ended up forming a friendship with Piet de Jong, fellow brit who was the artist and an archeologist on the dig. In 1933 Robert flew his friend George over to Greece for a trip and they decided to hike Mt. Smolikas. On their hike they ended up lost in the dark on a cloudy night. They took a break and Robert closed his eyes and took a breather and as if something spoke to him, he had this feeling that North was straight ahead not to their back as they had guessed. Acting on this they headed back north a distance before finding a cave they missed on the way up. Deciding it was safer to camp for the night than stumble down the mountain in the dark, they spent the night there. Upon waking up in the morning they took an actual look around the cave they were in and discovered it was more than a cave, it was A temple! Excited the men ran back to town as fast as they could to secure supplies that would help them see and perhaps grab some surviving relics. Upon return they entered with flashlights to find a temple dedicated to Tyche Protogeneia. Upon approaching the main statue they George found a remarkably well preserved scroll formed from papyrus. Upon examination he found he couldn’t read it and passed it to Robert to try. When looking at it, it didn’t look like any language Robert knew but somehow he still knew what it said. After reading it suddenly the scroll caught fire out of know where, leaving both men stunned. After the incident the decided to leave and set up a proper excavation. Upon funding it and participating in the initial seasons of excavations, Robert left back to England to set up a collection for the excavation titled “Fortune’s Collective” which include artifacts from the small shrine found in the beginning of his archeological career.

Personality and Motivations:

Robert is a Carefree fellow when the situation allows but has a sense of duty instilled in him by his father. He is dedicated to freedom of his fellow man and his country and will rise to defend those in need. When possible he spends his time exploring and trying to find those blips of the unknown he has been experiencing. As seen with his military service he has the capabilities to lead and to be disciplined, as well as the desire to protect his country and the world from threats. He is also willing to put in the work to discover the unknown and enjoys doing such, always looking for the unexplored and undiscovered and always seeming to have the luck to do so. He is also quickly bored once the initial discovery is done and is more than happy to use his families money (and his own from smart investment of his military stipend) to have someone else finish the job while he searches for the next adventure. In no small part is his success, both military and archeological, contributed to his unnatural luck, so since the day he first found that Tyche shrine, he makes sure to give a dedication to her

Alignment and Morals:

Robert is Chaotic Good, always looking out for the greater good but more than willing to take relics from a country for his own collection

Robert is part of the Tories just as his father is. Sitting more central and than some but still right wing. He supports the views of the conservative party and its choice to support MacDonald in 1931. He was of a mind though that if the unemployment benefits were to be cut so should some of the benefits of the wealthy. This fell on deaf ears amongst his colleagues in the peerage but was supported by his college friends.

Robert will stop and help someone in need if he sees them, not a fan of handouts whenever he could he would offer job opportunities as labor for his digs, sponsoring room and board as well as what he could for wages.

Robert has a dislike of Germany and its allies in terms of countries and politicians but isn’t willing to stoop to racism and hatred of the individual, preferring to avoid them if possible but able to be amicable if forced to interact.

Connections:

Lord Arthur Charles Wellesley, 4th Duke of Wellington: Robert’s Father, A strict but fair man who loved his children but didn’t spend a lot of time with them. Had a deep sense of Duty and did his best to instill that in his children as well.

Major Elliot Grenshaw: Robert’s mentor, as straight laced as they come. Stereotypical army officer, but not afraid to give credit where its due and help raise up those with talent. Stepped in to show the green leader Robert the ropes and was patient with him while he learned

George Turling: Robert’s best friend found through a shared love of archeology. George is adventurous and mischievous, loves a good prank. George is one person who Robert can call on and he will be there in the drop of a hat, just as he would for George. George has a preference for the physical exploration and excavation over the paperwork and library work.

Piet De Jong: First generation Brit born to Dutch immigrants. Piet is a bit eccentric but very passionate. In the brief time they spent together Piet and Robert bonded over a love of ancient Greece and there time in the military. Piet is an archeologist and an extremely talented artist.

I think Robert and Dafydd would get along fairly well. Somewhat similar backgrounds and experiences, with them both being sons of nobility who served in The Great War and later Ireland. (Also thanks for inadvertently reminding me to firm up my connections and stuff.)

To assist with reviewing your characters, I would ask for a bit of bookkeeping on your application. Please include a listing of your feats that shows at what level (and how if from a class) they were gained. Also, please clearly identify which two abilities you gained from your racial boon.

Cassius Cunningham
Looks like a solid application. It looks like you have a couple extra racial traits - it looks like you took Focused Study (in place of Bonus Feat) and Low Light Vision (in place of Skilled), but then you have 4 bonus racial abilities (rather than 2): Fey Magic, Fey Thoughts, Darkvision, and Hardy. Could you clarify?

Herman Smith
Game will start on October 1st, 1935 (so late in the year, and after the Nuremberg Laws went into effect). Things were already getting bad for the Jewish people of Germany, and I am okay with artistic adjustments in the fabric of history. Not fully advancing to mass arrest and incarceration, but Jewish people were certainly being targeted heavily among political arrests at the time.

Helena Conradina
I was looking over your details, and saw a couple things: on Traits, you get a Campaign trait + two more, so you still have one more to chose. You also only have 3 feats, when you should have 6 (1 human, 2 @ 1st, 1 @ 2nd, 1 @ 3rd, 1 @ 4th), so you have a few more feats to select.

Javell DeLeon
I did not see what bonus racial abilities you took for Jakob. If you have not selected any, maybe Dwarf would give some good options?

Dachu held political prisoners until 1938. It wasn't until after Kristallnacht that it held Jews. You could still try a rescue but it would be a political prisoner, who could be Jewish as well.

@Herman Smith:

Yeah, trawets71 is right about Dachau and the several other concentration camps that existed before 1938. They were used for political prisoners. This doesn't limit your possibilities for a person needing rescue all that much though. The Nazi regime had a very expansive concept of political enemies.

Political prisoners who were specifically political could be anyone who was prominent or held a position in the Kommunistische Partei Deutschlands (KPD), the German communist party; or the Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (SPD), the Social Democrats. The KPD was outlawed the day after the Nazi Party won the German elections in 1933. The SPD, which had been the party in power through most of the Weimar Republic, was also outlawed in 1933 after it was the only party to vote against the Enabling Act, which allowed Hitler as Chancellor and his cabinet to pass laws without the consent of the Reichstag.

There were lots of small political parties on the left that didn't matter much as well. But all parties were either declared illegal or merged with the Nazi Party by late 1933. Although there were no representative political parties, anarchists were also targeted.

As for political prisoners who weren't directly involved in politics, anyone who had some kind of public platform and had spoken out in the past in favor of something that ran counter to the Nazi Party's platform, or against the Nazi Party or any element of its platform was in danger. Erich Maria Remarque, who wrote All Quiet on the Western Front fled Germany for Switzerland in 1933 with good reason. His book was banned as "unpatriotic".

Hans Litten , a defense lawyer who had subpoenaed Hitler as a witness in a trial and cross-examined him in 1931 was taken into "protective custody" in the middle of the night about a month after Hitler became chancellor in 1933. Litten was never charged with anything but died at Dachau in 1938.

So, anyone who was a writer, journalist, academic, involved in the arts or entertainment, etc. could be in danger depending on what they might have done, said or written, or were rumored to have done, said, or written said prior to 1933. The very first war the Nazi's waged was a "culture war".

If you want to specifically be trying to to rescue a Jewish prisoner, that is easy based on the above. Both the KPD and the SPD were very popular parties among German Jews. Right wing parties were all antisemitic to some greater or lesser degree, so there wasn't much appeal or acceptance to be found by Jewish voters there.

German Jews were also broadly urban, assimilated, and middle-class compared to most other European nations. They well very well represented in exactly the same professions, academic disciplines, and literary and artistic careers as the Nazis targeted in the early 1930's. All you'd need to do is decide which of the many reasons aside from specifically being Jewish they were sent to Dachau for.

It sounds they would get on quite swell! Robert is known to bond quickly with his brothers in arms.

@wanderer82 I have changed my characters last name to fit my narrative. Sorry if there's any confusion from it.

@GM

I'll try to do a break down of my character choices when I get home in about 2 hours

Play test new feats:

A shower of mud went up as the shell landed close to them, It was getting dark, Helena reached over and grabbed Anna her fellow nurse, who was holding the other end of the stretcher on which was injured German officer. Pulling her head down.

In German
"Keep your head down, a tommy Spotter is looking for us."

There was meant to be a 1/2 hour lull in the shelling, so that both sides could go get the injured from no-man's-land. But they had taken to long getting to the officer, who was no moaning in pain on the stretcher. But it seemed the war has started up again and they were not back to safety yet.

"We are almost there, just over this crater and we can slip into a forward trench.

Anna had a look of worry and fear on her face.

"We will never make it, they have us Hellen"

Helena gave Anna, a grim look,

"We can't stay here, he will die, and they will shell us, let me think a moment."

She took a SOLDIERS MINUTE to steady her mind to look around and think. Then made up her mind, she reached for the officers belt, taking the pistol from it, checking it.

"Anna I want you to close your eyes, do not open them until I come back and tell you to move."

Anna nodded and did as she was told. Helena moved over the other wall of the large creator, she checked the luger gun again. This was it, As she did she started to say words in no human language. She had leaned long ago to cast things with just words, and none of this filly fally with bits of cats ear and bats wings. Then a sheen seemed to cover her for a moment and her eyes seems to glow from inside. Then she stood, scanning the british front lines. It was fully dark now and she know she had a chance.

"Come on where the devil are you?

In the dark who ever was spotting for the artialy was having a hard time seeing them, but to her now it was daytime and there was the glint of glass.

"Got ya!"

She lifted the pistol studded her target and shot a round, the sound of shattering. She had hit the periscope the spotter was using, But the flash of the gun and given her position away. She docked back and moved to Anna fast.

"Come one, move now!"

Up they went to the other side of the crater as sniper rounds whizzed behind them. Up and over and into safety. And the SOLDIERS MINUTE passed.

Anna she was told was killed three days later, when a forward hospital bunker was hit. Hellena never saw the officer again, and never got the chance to give him his gun back so she kept it. And she lived throw the war to end all wars.

Helena and Churchill:

It was 1935 and now that spring had come, A well dressed gent crossed the road at white hall and heading into the building. Stopping at the front desk, he handed over a card. The clark point at a small brass elevator, and the gent entered, The boy running it looked at the gets sideways.
Long white hair, fine overcoat and wast coat. Well made boots. He looked every part the son of some reach lord, a daddy or post. The young gent look at the lad and winked.

Coming to the right floor, the boy opened the lift and let the gent out.
down a small corridor and soon the gent was outside a door. Checking the name on the office he tapped on the door.

A gruff voice replied from with in

"WELL COME"

The find young gent opened the door and entered. Inside the room was a mess, Book, desks, there was more then one, letters notes, more notes, sheets of telegrams and notes. A short plump man was standing in front of a desk, looking over a map of spain.

"Your late"

He said not looking at the young gent,

"No I'm not your old devil, your just not drunk enough yet to tell."

The partly man chucked and a puff of thick cigar smoke wafted form him.
Still not looking round. He said.

"Do you have them?"

The young gent took a a bunch of notes, rolled up like a scroll.

"Yes, what my contact at the publisher could get, they are copies but she says its the gist of his work"

The portly man now turned round, a drink in one hand, cigar in another.

"What's the title going to be?"

The young gent said in replay.

"Mein Kampf, the struggle or my struggle. The punisher is trying to change that. Says its sound poppus as hell."

The fat man chulked,

"Thank you Mr Von Der-Ahe, the payment will be placed in your London bank. Is that satisfactory, 200 guineas was it not."

Mr Von Der-Ahe nodded.

"And a little something from me. Caesar's gallic wars the new Oxford press translation."

A book joined the rolled up notes form germany.

"Please let me know if you want anything in the future sir, It was a pleasure."

The fat man waved his hand.

"I will let you know, thank you, until next time"

With that Mr Von Der-Ahe left, leaving the chubby man looking at the notes of Hir Hitler's draft book.

"Hummm, I am going to have to do something about this man.

He said to himself, and then went back to his maps of spain.

Thanks for looking over my submission! Happy to clarify.

You are correct in that it does seem like a lot. I’m totally fine with a carved out version, but the ability says, ”A human can take it in place of skilled. A human who replaces skilled with fey magic also gains fey thoughts and low-light vision.” here (link). So I think I get low light vision, fey magic, and fey thoughts from the loss of skilled.

If that seems like too much, happy to pare it down to two of three, or even one of three. Just let me know your preference. Trying to broaden him a bit. Not sure if we're going to do any water at all, but if we do, he'll have a trick or two up his sleeve.

Dafydd should be fully updated and compliant with recent GM requests, connections, alignment, all that stuff now. Took Religious Scholar as my campaign trait.

Similarly, I was looking at Gnome Magic for my Sorcerer Fortunato, and that too, seems a bit too much. I could pare it down, or only take the (1) racial ability, or just skip it altogether. Just checking, though. Figured it couldn't hurt.

Gnomes add +1 to the DC of any saving throws against illusion spells that they cast.
Gnomes with Charisma scores of 11 or higher also gain the following spell-like abilities: 1/day—dancing lights, ghost sound, prestidigitation, and speak with animals.
The caster level for these effects is equal to the gnome’s level. The DC for these spells is equal to 10 + the spell’s level + the gnome’s Charisma modifier.

Here is my submission John Mosby I am not finished yet. I still need to finish the background and pick some feats. I may change the bonus campaign feats (1,2,4 etc) to something not combat related, which will change my feats up.

I haven't had time to come up with anything due to unforseen circumstances and, while everything's all well and good now, I don't want to hold things up for everyone else while I tinker with a character. Consider this my official withdrawal from the recruitment. Good luck everyone and I hope you all have a great time!

The Exchange

I think I've now got my character totally completed. Contacts, history, Feats spelled out, etc.

I think I have John finished. I made some changes to his feats that were originally there. If there are any questions please let me know.

I have altered Helenas spells slightly, When I wrote the Helena and Churchill, skit, I liked the idea she can make herself look like a male version of herself for a time. Helena is happy to supply books to anyone, but sometimes she dose not want to be known as
Miss Helena Conradina but as Mr Von Der-Ahe

New spell line up:

1s level [DC15][3+1Day]
1:Comprehend Languages {30mins}
2:Limited Disguise Self 30mins {she can make herself look like a male version of herself, One Mr Von Der-Ahe, her clothing stays the same but her voice drops a little and has a more Masculine look and feel}.
3:Charm Person {3 Hours]
4:Mage Armor

2ed Level [DC16][2+1Day]
1:Seek Thoughts {3 mins]
2:Darkvision {4 Hours}

Hello ladies and gentlemen. It has been exciting to respond to the myriad of PMs I continue to get daily. There are a lot of great characters coming together, but there is also still plenty of time for more! Maybe you have only expressed interest in the game, or maybe you just saw this thread for the first time. Do not hesitate to apply! And if you have part of a concept but would like help realizing it for this pathfinder modern setting, feel free to drop it on this thread or send me a PM.

APPLICATION TIMELINE
I encourage new applicants through the end of the day on Sunday, May 25th. Mon through Wednesday will be review of the characters, and any final adjustments. I will be announcing the party on Thursday the 28th.

Cassius Cunningham
I must have only ever looked at Fey Magic as listed under other races, where it replaces a 2 pt ability. Skilled is a 4 pt, so it makes sense to include Fey Thoughts (1) and Low Light (1) as well.

Coffee Dragon
Gnome Magic is fine to take. How goes the rebuild from rogue to sorcerer?

Trawets71
Were you thinking about the 1911 being your Musketeer gun, or a rifle?

FINALLY, I have shuffled the categories to organize the applicants a bit more. I fully understand that most characters fit into at least 2, if not more, categories - this is just to help break things down into smaller components. If you feel you character is miscategorized, please PM me.

Cool, thanks! I'll leave Cassius as is then. That said, I do plan to rework my background a bit - it needs some more flesh on the bones. Nothing dramatically different, I just want to improve the writing a bit. I'll have it done this weekend, well before your cutoff for review.

Awesome!

The character write up goes well and will be done by/on Saturday. I'm glad now that you weren't a fan of the rogue version. I like the sorcerer better! LOL I got busy with work and a couple of kid events for my teenage daughters who are finishing up their school year.

Yes, the M1911 would be the gunslinger gun he gets.

Helena Conradina Von Der Ahe wrote:

Sounds like a Vigilante. That's what I thought of with the whole Miss/Mr. switcheroo. :) (I know practically nothing about the Vigilante, but I do know they are about dual identities. That's the only reason I thought of that class).

Good morning, this is Tara Ravenheart tagging in with my character, Vicountess Evangeline Haldane (Abercromby du Pulignac), commonly referred to as Lady Eva. Thank you for all the assistance making my concept a reality. I am still transposing all the details from my development document into the profile on here, but it should all be in today.

I like Errol but he won't be done; will withdraw. Best of luck all!

Thank you all for your interest. At this time, I am closing recruitment to new applicants. Those who have either submitted or are in the process of working on a character should get it finished in the next 48 hours.

I am very excited to get things underway!

Aw man, I missed this.

Cool its always good to have the GM hyped to start play :)

I have one question, I know some one asked, but are we using
Sanity like this as a mechanic GM?

2 people marked this as a favorite.

As this game is going more for a pulp/action/adventure feel, I am not planning on using any Sanity rules. I would rather not get lost in the dark/madness/horror side of things (though these will certainly show up, just not as the primary focus).

Does that make sense?

So, more Indianna Jones and The Mummy Returns and less Call of Cthulhu, yes?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yes, absolutely.

And to be clear, if you have communicated with me and/or posted in this thread, please CONTINUE to work on your character proposal through tomorrow night. Think of this as the "4th quarter" so to speak.

huzzah

Did not expect this to happen, but the GM direct-messaged me saying you might need a nature-y themed character, and I believe they're offering me a spot? Or, at the very least, granting me leniency on the character submission deadline. I thank you greatly for the chance, GM Wanderer.

Currently asking a few questions about the campaign to decide between two characters.

Grand Lodge

@wanderer82 I sent you a DM with my last adjustments to my character and a couple questions about some firearms info

To be clear, no one has been offered any spots.

I have certainly been the person that missed an interesting recruitment thread by a day, and as I built in a soft window for final completions, am allowing your submission during this time.

Hence the correction afterwards, figured you wouldn't be that quick to offer a secured spot :3 Should have made it more direct that "yeah it's just an extension," admittedly, lmao. My excuse is insomnia.

I do have a question though, also asked in DMs, what kinds of enemies will we be facing?

Alright, the crunch for two characters is mostly complete; I just figured I should quickly type these up before I inevitably fall asleep. I'll decide on which character I'm going for once I get a bit more information on the campaign:

Lilyana Boyarova -- Russian Emigré and "Menshevik" (in reality: former anarchist rebel... the group supposedly invented the tachanka and her original concept made use of it at a point the campaign never got to so... that's why she's like that) fleeing persecution in Russia and Ukraine. Knows her way around the woods and the streets well enough that if she was in a non-Earthen campaign she'd probably pass for a Druid. Barring the guns.

Viola Fox - An urban druid based around the rising urban fox population in london at the time, very much your average druid and would likely work at the London Zoo. Quite peeved about the grey squirrel population invasion, and is likely in all kinds of naturalist circles with connection to IRL figures.

Once I get more info, I'll flesh out the character I'm choosing to include more than just rushed mechanical stats

Given the setting is functionally our world, your primary enemies will be humans. As the game progresses, you will encounter foes of other types, magical beasts, undead, demons, constructs, and being from the great beyond.

Goblins, orcs, and trolls - not so much.

As for the nature of those human enemies? Yes, Nazis will be among them, as will other groups vying for power.

There are cars for technicals, and there are Nazis.

I'm going with Lilyana. She's also one of my older characters, so I have a pretty solid grasp on how the character acts, at least in comparison to Viola. She will probably be in both naturalist and... well, anarchist circles around England with respect to NPCs. The non-crunch character details will be up within a day or two.

That, and I'm kind of worried about power budget on Viola, especially since Magical Knack might be impossible to justify on Earth. That whole 2 CL might be needed.

... That, and admittedly I am not sure if Spellslinger cooperates with ABP! Woops.

Ah shucks, looks like I missed this fine recruitment. Maybe next time if Lady Luck is on my side!

Delve into history complete, and I've drafted up a backstory, appearance, and 4 NPCs (2 naturalists, 2 anarchists) that she's ran into. Some are lifted from history, and I nabbed my other concept as an NPC she's ran into in both the conservationist and occult spheres.

I wanted to get as much down about her as I could so as to not delay your recruitment any further. Hopefully she's up to specification.

I'm going to assume English is common here, since we start in London?

@Gerard Nisroc if you think you can develop a full character in about 18 hours, feel free to give it a shot!

Most gracious. I can try, but might need to dovetail for story. I'll figure something out.

Possibly Rogue (Knife Master)/Swashbuckler or Paladin. Driver/Pilot.

Dropping out of school to help with the family business wasn't the end of the world... a modest but popular restaurant/cafe in Cairo wasn't a bad place to be.

World reknowned magician, "The Fantastic Fortunato", aka Mario DaVinci Fortino, is ready for submission, barring the necessary edit or correction due to an error in math or somesuch. As I explained in my message to our DM Wanderer, my freetime has been hectic and distracted, of late.

Hope you like him, and I'm more than ready to fix anything you might have issue with. :D

1 person marked this as a favorite.

@Fortunato, you may want to reread the rules regarding feats. 1/level. I'm not sure if it's one more in addition to the human and the first level feat, or if it's the human one they're talking about.

(Relevant for me, since I gave up the human feat and skill point to not take a penalty)

Oh, jeeze. Forgot about that.

Thanks for the heads up.

1st level is 2 feats + the human feat (so 3 in all, unless you traded away the human feat for an alternate racial ability).

If I get selected I'll fix that with another teamwork feat then.
