Virava stabs at the pink weaponmaster, whose shield lessens the damage somewhat. (It seems you can Shield Block against invisible attacks, which surprised me.) The rogue steps away and clears her sickness.

Jiki's spell breaths life back into the wounded Nina; the bard then sprays shadows across the battlefield.

Othello flies over to Nina's rescue and takes out the hierophant who was menacing her. She stands and retreats from the scrum, provoking an attack from the weaponmaster.

Regardless of the answer, Jiki brings Nina back from the brink once more.

Your blessing revives a creature at the moment of its death. You prevent the target from dying and restore 5d8 ⇒ (6, 7, 8, 3, 1) = 25 Hit Points to the target. You can't use breath of life if the triggering effect was a death effect or an effect that leaves no remains, such as disintegrate.

"You are correct, we surrender," the standing weaponmaster concedes to Jiki. He feeds a potion to the group's cleric, who unleashes enough healing to keep everyone from meeting Asmodeus face-to-face.

The Fleshforger's meat construct lumbers to the arena and speaks: "The Pathfinders are the victors." He intones.

With your victory, the Fleshforger entrusts you with dealing with the oozeshard. He provides you with two weeks of provisions. He also provides you with a generous stipend of gold coins. (Equal to 2 treasure bundles.)

You will have time to rest before you venture south to toward Nex's border with the Mana Wastes. The land here there is harsh and unforgiving, blasted and irradiated by centuries of magical warfare between the rival archwizards Geb and Nex, along with the armies of their eponymous countries. Prepare accordingly!

I'll move us into the next section tomorrow after everyone has the chance to do their daily prep.

Jakoby goes to check on Nina. Okay. She gathers herself and allies after the fight. Stupid to have to pit against eachother. She knew that they would win. And so, she sheathes her sword, and turns in for the night.

The next day Jakoby wakes up early to watch the sun rise while mixing, packing into her carved wooden pipe, and smoking sweet-smelling herbs from her pouch. She gladly shares with anyone that joins her.

She prays to Ol' Deadeye "You bastard" and he grants her a few begrudging spells.

That was not how Jiki expected his plea to land, but he is not going to argue, and immediately begins helping to tend the wounded (Pathfinders first, but he is willing to help the Dealers as well).

You prepare for your journey and set off into the wastelands. It's easy to follow the trail of your quarry as the gigantic ooze leaves a swath of destruction in its wake.

The search is not without complications, however: You stumble across a couple of large beasts snarling over a picked over carcass. Their three heads (each) all swivel quickly to look at you. "Fresh meat!" They seem to growl.

His accurate shot frightens and pins down the yellow creature.

The red chimera roars as it closes to face you, one or its heads focusing on the summoned elemental, one on Othello, and one on Virava.
