I’ve started reading Shadowrun fiction recently, and have really enjoyed it. Never played the game though. If you’re willing to put up with a newbie, I’m down to give it a whirl. What’s not too hard to figure out and not totally redundant with the current party?

He's a manipulator whose main combat spell would be Stunbolt ("go to sleep") but usually wants to avoid combat with Influence ("these aren't the droids you're looking for") and Control Emotions ("you look so tired, you should take a break"). I want him to have the Black Magic tradition and Seductress mentor spirit but the version of Chummer I found doesn't have them; if he gets picked up I can modify the sheet.

I have never played Shadowrun other than the video games. This looks interesting and I made a character, Warren Connery. He is made to be a breaking and entering specialist.
In a past life he was a BLT star with a wife he loved very much. She was killed in an accident that fried her brain and severely damaged him. He can get lost in old BLTs of her if he isn't careful.

Where the party is at now: With a massive snowstorm dumping several feet of snow per hour onto seattle, the group has braved the dangerous trek over Elliot bay by ferry. the crossing proved fatal, not for the group, but for the other 'runners that sought to deny the group the job, only to discover the true speed of an adept with a pistol. The troll died from a surprise double tap to the back of the head. The rest of the opfor runners subdued, the party was picked up by a man in an old school diesel pickup truck and brought to the mansion where the mission starts. Inside a small tent on the grounds of Bainbridge manor, the party learns more about the secret underground research station nick named "the hive". They learn that it is here that ultra secret tests and biologic and chemical weapons are developed, and security is a premium. A guardian AI construct named "the red queen" rules over this domain, with a directive to ensure that containment is maintained.
